58. Hindsight

After being harassed by cunning flies in the imperial capital for another night, Luo Er got up early the next day, put on the telescope badge, mounted a donkey, and started his life as an informant with a little milk cat on his waist.

.

On the first day, nothing happened except that I was stopped by the police several times and wanted to collect a fine from the little donkey, but after seeing the badge, I gave up immediately.

The next day, with the help of the little milk cat, a theft case was successfully solved.

On the third day, nothing happened.

On the fourth day, the little donkey accidentally broke into a vicious case of robbery of money and sex. After subduing the robber, he received a passionate kiss from an enthusiastic girl in the imperial capital and a small piece of paper with an address...

On the fifth day, nothing happened.

On the sixth day, I chased away a few aunts who stole fasteners from the construction site.

On the seventh day, I received a check from Captain Jin, which contained 600 East, which was the reward he provided for three "valid" clues...

"I obviously just want to help solve my daughter's problems, but why do I go further and further away from being a model citizen?"

Luo Er mumbled helplessly, holding a box of mosquito repellent water bought from the grocery store in his hand.

Over the past week, he has been battling wits with the flies in the Imperial Capital every night, and has been woken up once a day on average. He cannot sleep well as he gets older, and it annoys him to no end.

Today, he had to go back to the Swordsmen Regiment to visit the instructors and colleagues and ask the regiment leader if there was any good news.

When I arrived at the door, I happened to meet a wounded man wearing bandages and plasters, walking with a limp, followed by a group of people who looked like housekeepers and maids.

"Didn't I tell you not to follow me? I can't bear this little injury, and I'm no longer worthy of being a member of the 'Broken Blade'!"

"Haven't I been treated with divine magic? My injuries are recovering. Please go back quickly and don't delay my sword practice!"

Judging from the voice, it must be the dude who promised to fight with someone last time. I didn't expect that I was so confident at the beginning, but ended up being beaten so badly...

To be honest, this is still a bit strange. The biggest difference between classical swordsmanship and new school swordsmanship is that it focuses on both offense and defense, unlike the new school which emphasizes attack and suppression, leaving defense to equipment and secret techniques.

To put it simply, classical swordsmanship is more complete and systematic, while the new style of swordsmanship pays more attention to the compatibility with secret techniques and equipment, and is a new idea evolved based on the extraordinary system of the Scholars Association.

Both have their own advantages and disadvantages. Those who need more swordsmanship to protect themselves, such as rich children and ordinary soldiers, will of course choose the classical school, while for extraordinary people who have accepted the system, the new school is naturally more suitable.

So it's a bit strange that this dude used classical swordsmanship and was beaten into a bandaged man. Logically speaking, it really shouldn't be so miserable...

However, this man did have some backbone and blood. He was beaten like this and still had to limp to practice his sword, which surprised Luo Er.

I am really not afraid that I will become a semi-disabled person...

Luo Er waited for the bandaged man to leave first, then followed him in and found the instructor.

The instructor gave him good news:

"His Royal Highness the eldest prince has already agreed to help take care of your daughter, so there is no need to worry too much."

A reassuring smile appeared on Luo Er's face.

Just then, Jerry's call came from downstairs:

"Roel, you're here just in time, come and help!"

Luo Er hurried over and saw the bandaged dude sitting next to him, secretly looking at him through the gap in the gauze on his face.

"He is my student, Xiao, the young master of the Tim family..."

Jerry briefly introduced the situation. It turned out that he hoped that Rolle and Tom would join hands and reconstruct the duel at that time according to the description of the bandage master for a review.

This can be regarded as a traditional project that the Swordsmen Group has had before. Improving it through actual combat review is much better than simply analyzing it verbally.

After Jerry finished speaking, he also introduced Rolle by the way:

"Although this guy is quite handsome, he was the leading genius in our group back then. Even the group leader was very optimistic about his talent. If he can give you some advice, it will be your luck. He will do it soon."

Play 'you."

The bandaged man nodded repeatedly and very wisely did not ask Rolle why he didn't stay in the swordsmen group all the time.

"Then, let's begin!"

Rolle set up the starting position of classical swordsmanship, while Tom on the opposite side dropped the scabbard, held the sword with one hand, and pointed it directly at Rolle.

The bandaged man began to describe. Rolle and Tom's wooden swords crossed each other several times and then moved away.

"The foundation is pretty solid, but the choice of starting moves was a bit problematic, so I was suppressed right from the start."

Rohr made a comment and then gave his own thoughts.

"The new style of swordsmanship pays more attention to angle and force because of its fierceness. You might as well do this..."

As he said that, he and Tom demonstrated it again. When Tom drew his sword, he advanced instead of retreating and took the initiative to get closer to the opponent, avoiding the opponent's best angle and distance. He also took advantage of the situation and took out the wooden sword and knocked it with the hilt.

Get down Tom's arm.

Tom could only instinctively put away his sword to defend, and then fell into passivity.

Jerry on the side nodded repeatedly and commented:

"That's right. Although our classical sect focuses on defense, we are not conservative. Sometimes we take the initiative to attack and find our advantageous positions. The effect is much better than pure defense."

The bandaged man lowered his head slightly, thought and chewed carefully, and then continued:

"I've been taught a lesson! Thank you Master Luo Er!"

The exercise continues.

Although the bandage man was at a disadvantage at the beginning, he could still hold on and wait for opportunities with his solid basic skills.

Rohr casually pointed out a few opportunities that he had missed, and demonstrated how to seize opportunities, causing the bandaged man's eyes that were beaten into panda eyes to gradually reveal a light of admiration.

But the two sides fought for more than ten rounds, and the bandaged man didn't show signs of defeat. Even if he couldn't win, there was always a chance to surrender. He couldn't be beaten so badly, right?

Luo Er also felt a little puzzled.

Just then, the bandaged man said angrily:

"It was at this time that I seemed to suddenly hear something. My consciousness gradually became blurred, and hallucinations appeared in front of my eyes. Then I couldn't hold on anymore, and I couldn't even surrender."

"That guy took this opportunity and beat me like this..."

The expressions of Luo Er and the three of them froze at the same time. This was obviously a trick from the other side!

And judging from the description of the situation, it looks very much like mental pollution!

"Is the Deyoer family involved in a cult?"

Tom asked in a low voice.

The bandaged man suddenly looked like he was just waking up from a dream:

"Ah? A cult? You mean, that guy used dirty tricks to interfere with my spirit?"

"No wonder, I just said something was wrong with the situation, and that guy lied to me and said it was his newly realized coercion..."
