Chapter 10 Battle and Arrival

 Chapter 10 Battle and Arrival

Imrik flew in the air and first threw two colorful balls of fire. The two balls of fire accurately hit the two unlucky ones among the spiders.

The violent burst of flames instantly ignited the two goblin spiders. The terrain characteristics created by the colorful ball also ignited raging fires around the two spiders. The two spiders behind them had no time to dodge and ran into the two fires.

As the wailing sound sounded, four spiders died in the colorful ball of a damage spell card.

The remaining spiders retreated after seeing the flames and continued to rush towards the caravan, but what they didn't expect was that three balls of grease magic were waiting for them ahead.

As at least seven of the first wave of spiders fell into the grease spell, Imrik chanted the spell three times again and threw out three colorful balls in succession - flame evocation.

"Bang bang bang!" The greasy spell and the colorful balls produced an extremely powerful chemical reaction, and the flames that shot up into the sky swallowed up seven of the goblin spiders.

The remaining monsters changed direction as soon as they saw the grease trap and rushed towards the crowd from the side.

Old John first picked up the three-color powder and sprinkled it into the sky. Gorgeous colored light scattered forward from his fingers, forming a cone-shaped area.

As nocturnal animals that live in the dark for a long time, intense bright light is their mortal enemy, not to mention the blinding and shocking effects of colorful jets.

The first few spiders were immediately illuminated by the colorful light. Their poor spell resistance made them completely unable to resist. Not only were they blinded by the colorful jets, they were also shocked and unable to move in place.

Old John succeeded in the attack and immediately retreated to the back. After all, he did not have a flying spell like Imric.

Seeing this, Carrot couldn't miss the opportunity, so he led his guards and rushed towards the spiders. Several spiders that were frightened in place were hacked to death one by one.

Imrik was flying in the air, with an extremely wide field of vision. He chanted the incantation again and repeated his old tricks, this time releasing the colorful ball - Thunder Charge.

The sound of sizzling electric current resounds within the white light sphere. This is the sonic element of the colorful ball, which can inflict powerful sonic damage to the enemy and knock the opponent away.

Imric saw a spider being knocked away by Carrot, knocking down another spider at the same time, and shouted: "Stay away, Carrot!"

He slammed the ball in his hand onto the ground, making a squeeze shape with his palm. The thunderous colorful ball instantly hit the two spiders, and a powerful sound wave spread out, shattering the developed hearing systems of the nearby spiders.

, and knocked the two spiders flying far away, and hit the big tree hard.

When Carrot got some free time, he went to help other guards who were over-stressed.

Seeing that the remaining spiders were not afraid, Imric and Old John used frost rays from time to time to support the remaining guards.

The battle came to an end when the last spider was frozen in place by Imric and Old John, unable to move, and was hacked to death by Carrot.

Imrik flew down from the sky. Old John ran over and patted Imrik on the shoulder. He sighed and said, "Thanks to you tonight, Imrik. Hey, I..."

Halfway through his words, he couldn't go on. He really couldn't understand Imrik. He was throwing out spells worth fifty gold coins each as if they were free. Imric wasted at least three hundred gold coins tonight.

On the other hand, he was releasing frost rays next to him like a fish paddling in the water.

But this is what a normal low-level mage does! Old John thought to himself blankly. He was blinded by Imric's inhumane money-making ability. Little did he know that all the spells were useless to Imrik.

Material limitations.

Imrik also understood what Old John was thinking. He was once an ordinary low-level mage, and he understood the pain points of low-level mage fighting.

After the battle was over, everyone continued to rest in place for the night, and then reorganized and set off early the next morning.

In the afternoon, the caravan finally walked out of the Twilight Forest and arrived at Dragon Blade Castle.

After entering the city, Imrik said goodbye to Old John, and the two made an appointment to meet tomorrow to discuss real estate matters in detail.

Assyria and Ella decided to follow Old John to see the boss of the Chamber of Commerce. Before leaving, they handed over the copied divine scroll to Imrik.

"Get a suite." Imric, covered in black mage robes, walked into a tavern. As soon as he entered, he took out a gold coin and threw it to the halfling bartender.

The short halfling took the gold coin into his mouth, bit it, and looked at Imric with squinted eyes.

"Ah, distinguished Master Mage, we have three different suites here, namely Mediterranean style, Lost City under the Mountain, and Couple's Suite. Which one do you want?" the halfling said to Imrik flatteringly.

A mysterious mage is rare even in Dragonblade Castle, which is more developed than Bucks City, let alone in a place like a tavern where good and bad people are mixed.

Imrik smiled and said: "The Mediterranean style is great. I like the tropical climate. By the way, send me a steak and fish to my house."

After saying that, Imric sat down, took out a gold coin again, held it between his two fingers and looked at the halfling and said: "Tell me about Dragonblade Castle. It's best if you can give me a gold coin worth it."

News, halfling."

The short bartender made exaggerated expressions and movements, and said loudly: "Of course, my dear Master Mage, Holt is the most well-informed bartender in this city. I promise that you will not be disappointed. Where do you want to start?"

Imrik thought for a while and asked: "Tell me first, the distribution of power in this city, and if I want to buy some spell materials and spell supplies, where should I buy them?"

Halfling Holt heard this and said: "You asked me to ask the right person. Dragon Blade Castle is divided into inner city and outer city. Our place belongs to the outer city in the south. The biggest force in the outer city is the Thieves Guild, while in the inner city it is

A gathering place for the city government and noble lords.

As for the magic materials and magic supplies, we don’t know what they are, but a master mage like you will always go to Utris’s witchcraft shop, maybe you can go there and have a look.”

Imric nodded with satisfaction and threw the gold coin in his hand into the halfling's hand.

He was about to get up and go back to his room, when a strong man next to him suddenly spilled his wine on him. When he looked back, he saw that it was two drunkards arguing.

He glanced at the drunkard unhappily, but he didn't expect that the drunkard would dare to yell at him when he saw him wearing a mage's robe: "What are you looking at, you damn bastard? Believe it or not, I dug out your eyes."

The drunkard opposite him was shocked when he saw the mage robe Imric was wearing, and he hurriedly ran to the side, gloating as he watched the other man's life-or-death performance.

Imrik smiled and said: "I don't know if you will dig out my eyes, but I know that if you have eyes like you, it is better not to have them. A fool like you who can't even see clearly who you have offended is better to remain blind."

Drop it"

The drunkard across from him became furious after hearing this, and raised his fist to hit Imrik. Imrik's lips moved slightly, and he stretched out his palms to look into the eyes of the man opposite him like an eagle's talon.

A burst of gorgeous colored light erupted from Imrik's hand, and those around him who had no time to close their eyes covered their eyes and howled. The drunkard closest to him was directly stimulated by the light and burst into tears.

First-level spell—Colorful Jet

Looking at the drunkard who was shocked and unable to move even though he was wailing in pain, Imrik put his hand on his head and said, "Shock the shock!"

Level 0 trick - tremor electric shock, a tiny electric current passed through Imrik's hand, and the trembling drunkard fell to the ground uncontrollably, and a burst of feces and urine came out of his pants.

Imrik looked at him with disgust, then stepped over his body and walked towards the room.

He couldn't wait to check out the scroll of divine magic given to him by Assyria. It was already the greatest gift not to kill him on the spot for a scum like this that affected his mood. However, as a mortal with no magic resistance, he was attacked at close range.

If you are exposed to the colorful jets, you will most likely be blind for the rest of your life.
