Chapter 27 Assistant’s Daily Life

"Good morning," the man in front of him smiled elegantly with slight dimples, "I know this school girl."

The air suddenly solidified. Looking up at that playful smiling face, everyone stopped what they were doing and focused their gazes on one place. Jian Anran's face was burning.

"What? How do you know the teacher?" The senior sister was very interested.

"This is me..." Wen Siheng just spoke, but was overshadowed by Jian Anran's voice.

"This is the teacher of my professional course!"

It turned out to be the case, and everyone suddenly realized with an "Oh".

"Our teachers are very nice, don't be too formal." The senior sister patted her on the shoulder and returned to the computer to continue deliberating on the plan.

Of course Jian Anran knows how good he is. It can be said that no one here knows how good he is.

She remembered that when she went out for a meeting the day before yesterday, Wen Siheng specifically asked her, "Has all the work been arranged?"

He even made a special trip back to the office over the weekend, and combined with the way he looked like an old god this morning, Jian Anran reacted immediately and gave him a fierce look.

Wen Siheng shrugged innocently.

After a while, a new message popped up on her WeChat.

[Elder Tang: The most dangerous place is the safest place]

Fallacy! Strong words! No one knows the art of words better than Wen Siheng.

"This is our main office. We usually make plans and discuss things here. Going inside is the storage room and my personal office." Wen Siheng introduced them one by one to Jian Anran.

"Come with me, classmate Jian, I will introduce to you our main work." Wen Siheng stood at the door of his small office and invited her in gracefully.

It's a normal work process, so the seniors and sisters around me didn't pay too much attention to this.

Jian Anran moved nervously into Wen Siheng's office.

I heard a voice above my head: "Sit down." Then the door closed with a "click".

"Are you crazy? Why are you closing the door?" Jian Anran whispered fiercely in a breathy voice.

"No one will care." Across the table, Wen Siheng sat back in his seat.

Through the louvered grille of the office, the seniors outside are staring at the computer.

"What the hell did you do?" Jian Anran called out to inquire.

"That's right." Wen Siheng nodded and confirmed the answer.

"What does it mean? What did you and our counselor say?"

"Is it important?"

"Of course it's important!" Jian Anran was a little anxious, "What if he mentions this matter in the future? Do we have to check the confession first?"

"I said." Wen Siheng hooked his fingers, gesturing for Jian Anran to come closer.

She obediently put her ear closer and said, "I admire you very much and hope you can be my office assistant."

"That's it?" Jian Anran was doubtful.

"What else? Tell the truth?" Wen Siheng stood up and took out mineral water from his bag.

"What truth?"

Only then did she look around. There was not even a water dispenser in the huge office. The school was really stingy.

"I want to live day and night." He whispered in her ear.

Jian Anran pushed hard towards the edge of the table with both hands, and the chair immediately slid back one meter.

Restraint, restraint, public places.

There was a gentle knock on the door of Wen Siheng's office, and Jian Anran quickly straightened up and sat on the chair.

"Please come in." Wen Siheng said.

The office door opened, and the senior stood at the door, "Does the teacher have a backup copy of the project report on the teacher's computer the day before yesterday? I forgot to bring the copy on the hard drive in the dormitory."

"The proposal report," Wen Siheng sat down and turned on the computer, "Wait a moment, I will send it to you."

"Okay, thank you, teacher." The senior was about to close the door and go out. After a pause, his eyes fell on the mineral water on Wen Siheng's desk.

"Eh?" The senior seemed to have remembered something, "The mineral water on Sister Jian's table seems to be of this brand."

Mineral water? Jian Anran followed her gaze and looked at the mineral water on Wen Siheng's table. Oh no, she took it out and took a sip as soon as she sat down.

The mineral water in Wen Siheng's refrigerator is not a brand commonly bought by the general public. The blue package has a red logo printed on it. The mineral water imported from France is not cheap.

It’s this damn capitalism again, why do you have to be so special even when you drink mineral water?

After a quick brainstorm, Jian Anran pretended to be calm and raised her tone slightly.

"Ah? The teacher drinks this brand too. I was too thirsty on the way to school and couldn't find a water seller, so I had to go to Starbucks and reluctantly buy this bottle."

I remembered seeing this kind of mineral water in the glass cabinet of Starbucks before.

Coupled with a groaning and sad face, Jian Anran has been getting along with a man of Oscar-winning actor level for a long time, and Jian Anran has become quite familiar with him.

The senior nodded in agreement: "It's really expensive."

After confirming that the senior had gone far, Jian Anran whispered: "Please change to cheap mineral water in the future."

"When I was in the UK, Evian was already the cheapest mineral water on the shelf."

Jian Anran:......

"Okay, hurry up and tell me what you want me to do. I have to go out immediately. Staying for too long will have bad effects." Jian Anran tried her best to tighten her serious face.

"You usually help with the work and organize the information. The project we are currently in is still in the early stages, so you can help collect information and materials. You can also try to participate in the production of relatively simple engineering drawings."

"Just do your own thing when you have time, don't be too busy." Wen Siheng added.

"Okay." Jian Anran said, stood up, pushed the chair under the table and prepared to leave.

"I haven't said what to do yet? Do you know where to start?" Wen Siheng smiled softly.

"Don't keep saying half-baked words." Jian Anran turned around and complained bitterly.

The other party handed over a thick stack of text information, "These are our current progress. You can try to understand it first, and set off for on-site investigation in two days."

"Can I go too?" Jian Anran's eyes lit up.

"That's for sure."

After getting Wen Siheng's approval, Jian Anran happily returned to her workstation holding the materials.

Her position is excellent, facing the door, and the four sides of the seat are blocked by tall materials, leaving only two sides.

Sitting at the workstation, you can have an overview of the whole situation, but when others turn around, they can barely see her slightly exposed head.

The only fly in the ointment is that her back is empty, and from Wen Siheng's small office, looking out through the glass with the louvered grille, it can be seen at a glance.

Probably this is the feeling described in "Broken Chapter": "You stand on the bridge and look at the scenery, and the people watching the scenery are watching you upstairs."

It's hard not to wonder if this chosen position was deliberate.

The footsteps outside the office gradually approached, the door handle was pressed down, and what came into view was a yellow plaid dress, paired with a pair of round-toe red lacquered small high heels.

The girl's eyes were round, and she blinked as she stood at the door. She first glanced at the lit small office at the end, then moved her eyes outward, and then landed on Jian Anran, who stuck out her little head in front of the office.
