Chapter 253 Paper Flowers

The tragedy in Rolling Stone Valley is still happening, but the world will not change at all. The intrigues in the principalities are like mosquitoes and flies, always chasing honey.

Boom's current magic circle has completely turned into petals. The fire is hot, the wind is agile, the water is crystal clear, and the earth is thick.

Rikka still practices alone every day, either competing with fallen leaves today or killing flying moths tomorrow. Boom has no way to do this and simply lets it go.

In his heart, as long as Rikka is safe, as for whether he is strong or not, it is his responsibility as his brother. If cultivation is Rikka's spiritual sustenance, then why should he deprive Rikka of his happiness?

"Get up, have breakfast, the sun is shining down on your buttocks!" Rikka tapped the plate and put the teapot on the stove.

"Uh... I plan to take a break today. Continuous practice is not good for your health. You can go and have some fun yourself." Even though Boom said this, he still got up and got out of bed.

Breakfast was spent with Rikka chattering and Boom yawning. As for the pot of tea, it almost burned Boom to death.

Half an hour later, Rikka and Boom sat across from each other in the room. The former kept rolling his eyes, while the latter awkwardly planned to return to bed.

"Brother, you don't have to practice today, right? You don't want to sleep all day, right?" Rikka stared at Boom and asked softly.

"It should be like this. It's such a coincidence that you have a day off today." Boom sighed and replied with a look of helplessness.

"Perhaps this is God's will. Since we have nothing to do, my brother will go out for a walk with me today." Rikka puffed up her cheeks and said again.

"Can I refuse? I am really tired from practicing continuously, and the weather today is not very good." Boom took a sip of hot tea and tried his best to hide his reluctance.

"No! Brother, I will either go out to play with others today, or I will bark like a dog." Liuhua jumped up and threw herself directly into Boom's arms.

"Woof woof woof!" Boom pulled Rikka up with a wry smile and immediately put on the black robe. Since Rikka wanted to go out for a walk, Boom naturally wouldn't refuse.

A moment later, the two of them exchanged a few words with the dark elf Christine across from them, and then slowly walked out of the alley. A huge noise hit them, but it could not dispel the dark clouds in the sky.

Although the two of them have lived in Gaoting for a long time, even Rikka only goes to and from the market area. As for other places, they rarely go there.

As for Boom, he seemed even more miserable. He spent most of his time practicing in the small courtyard, and when he was suddenly included in the crowd, he even felt uncomfortable.

Along the way, Rikka continued to introduce the situation in the High Court, just like a guide. Boom also listened quietly, and sometimes asked his doubts.

"Now, the tallest thing is the Twin Towers, and the building next to it is the residence of Grand Duke Grylls." Rikka whispered while putting the newly bought white sugar cake into the dimensional space.

"It's very impressive. Compared with others, I, a magician, am really shabby." Boom took a bunch of grilled fish and squatted in the corner without any image.

The two continued to wander in the high hall. Rikka was in a high mood today and purchased countless fresh ingredients. Boom was standing under the shade of a tree with an extremely ugly look on his face.

Rikka turned to look at Boom, and then ran to him. Her eyes slowly slid down from Boom, and finally landed on the bamboo basket at his feet.

Light pink skin, lanugo hair that has not fallen off, old and clean wrapping cloth. This is an abandoned baby, and an innocent and lovely creature.

Rikka looked at the little baby, and then looked up at Boom, who had a gloomy face. She hugged the baby into her arms and blocked the breeze with her Viking war skirt.

"Are you sick? We don't have the ability to solve this kind of trouble. Put it back quickly!" Boom turned to look at Rikka and said in a very cold tone.

"It's just a hug for a while. No one wants it anyway. Brother, do you want to give it a try?" Rikka chuckled, completely ignoring Boom's anger.

The two began to wander in the high hall again, but now Boom was no longer in the good mood before, and Rikka also had an extra baby in her arms.

Time passed minute by minute, and the midday sun baked everything in the world. Boom stared blankly at the sky, while Rikka warmed the sour plum soup with her own mouth, and then carefully put it into the baby's mouth.

The meat soup cooled and the white sugar cake hardened. Boom sighed and looked helplessly at Rikka, who was in full maternal mood at this time and even exchanged child-rearing experiences with others.

The two of them didn't wander around for a whole afternoon, but they didn't return to the courtyard either. The two of them sat in a dark alley, with Boom looking cold and Rikka teasing the baby all the time.

There was no letterhead, no money, and not even a change of diapers. The ignorant baby smiled and waved its little hands, as if in response to Rikka's smile.

"It's almost time, we should go home. What are you going to do with this baby?" Boom slowly stood up and walked out of the alley.

"I...I don't know, my brother is the smartest, please help." Liuhua hugged the baby tightly, with a cry in her voice.

Boom sighed, then walked in a certain direction. Rikka followed from a distance, as if she was afraid that Boom would ask her to abandon the baby.

The dilapidated gray walls, the huge wooden door full of cracks. The iron bars are rusty, and the neglected inner courtyard is overgrown with weeds.

The Principality of Cisse does not believe in gods, and the High Court, as the main city, is naturally more prominent in this regard. Although the monastery has survived for thousands of years, very few people will enter it, let alone listen to the holy music.

Boom and Rikka were sitting in an empty stone house. The only nun did not stand up to welcome her, nor did she make any noise. It seemed that in her eyes, this was not a high garden, but a palace of the gods.

The sleeping baby twitched its legs from time to time, and some saliva flowed from the corner of its mouth, and then soaked into the wrapping cloth. This was the third time Boom sighed today, and his figure disappeared outside the monastery.

Seeing this, Rikka quietly took out a piece of white paper from the dimensional space. Flicking her fingers, a paper flower appeared in front of her eyes, exquisite and smart.

"I hope you can live, you weak life." After lowering his head and kissing the baby's forehead, Rikkatai also walked out of the monastery.

In the setting sun, Boom's arm was held by someone again, and the noisy sounds around him were still heard, as if they had never changed.

"Reality is always cruel. This is something you must experience, and it is also a difficulty that must be overcome." Boom patted Rikka's little head and said softly.

The small courtyard was once again illuminated by the magic crystal shadow lamp. Rikka leaned on the bed and read a novel, and a magic light band appeared around Boom.

The relaxing day for the two came to an end. The sun will still rise tomorrow morning, Rikka will still dance the short blade, and Boom will still practice in the room.

In the monastery, the nun seemed to have finished her prayer. She was holding a sleeping baby in her arms, and there was a paper flower in the baby's arms.

Bang! The two gold coins slid out of the paper flowers as the nun's movements undulated, and then fell to the ground. The crisp sound echoed in the monastery, which seemed very straightforward, but also filled with endless sadness.
