Chapter 287 A pure lullaby

Hercules, the great mage of the nervous system, may be famous among the major principalities, and may be the ultimate goal of many who aspire to become the top magician.

But Lulu didn't know this person, and had never even heard of him. The reason why she was able to sense the approaching danger early last night was just that she sensed the magic crystal containing psychic power.

Lulu doesn't know who the other person is, nor what the other person is searching for her for. But her life is very limited now, and she must not waste it on these strangers.

What's more, Lulu doesn't want to cause trouble for Boom. Even if Boom can solve it easily, she doesn't want to leave with this guilt.

"Be careful lately. There was another magic wave in the Twin Towers last night." Boom said with a frown by the kitchen door.

"It has nothing to do with me. I'm not a magician. Give me the salt shaker." Rikka replied nonchalantly. She didn't bother to ask about things about magicians.

"By the way, why doesn't Lulu show up? Something happened, right?" Boom shook his head, but he didn't pay much attention. That was the Twin Towers, the home of the two Great Magisters of Cisse, and

He is just a junior shrimp now, so even if he causes trouble, it won't be his fault.

"Hey, I missed you so much after not seeing each other all night. Could it be that my brother has fallen in love with that little girl?" Rikka asked casually, but she pierced the bottom of the pot with a shovel.

"Like Lulu? I quite like her. She's obedient, well-behaved, and cute." Boom smiled and turned around and walked out of the kitchen, planning to go back to the room to drink tea.

Bang! The shovel hovered in the air at high speed like a boomerang, and finally hit Boom accurately on the forehead. At this time, Boom squatted on the ground with his head in his hands, tears flowing out uncontrollably.

"Do you still like it? You're obedient, well-behaved, and cute, right?" Rikka walked up to Boom and kept kicking her feet.

But at this moment, there was a gentle knock on the courtyard door. Lulu walked in wearing a gray linen hood with the same smile on her face.

"Eh? What happened to Brother Boom's forehead? Did it hit somewhere?" Lulu held the angel statue in both hands, and the golden light of the healing technique fell from the sky.

"It's nothing. I was beaten by a fool. Have you eaten?" Boom looked at Rikka with a wry smile, but the latter raised her little hand again.

"Brother is the fool, Lulu, I tell you, you have to be careful about Brother Boom, he is the biggest bad guy."

Rikka held the silver plate and urged the two of them to return to the room, while deliberately shaking it in front of Boom. Seeing this, Boom directly reached out and grabbed Rikka's dull hair, and the three of them started eating while talking and laughing.

Breakfast.

A moment later, Rikka went to Nightingale Grassland as usual. In the process of fighting the mercenaries, she also benefited a lot. Although her strength did not increase, her understanding of the world increased rapidly.

Boom still entered the state of cultivation early. Although the first advancement ended in failure, he would not stop because of it. Only when the Great Mage reaches the pinnacle can he remain the person he cares about most.

The courtyard was silent again. Today, Lulu did not choose to stay in the room, but returned to her utility room. She needed to observe whether the stranger appeared again and whether she gave up searching for herself.

Without praying to the Holy Scriptures, nor returning to the spirit body, Lulu stared blankly at the door of the room not far away, and sometimes turned her head to stare in the direction of the Twin Towers.

During this period, she only went out once, and that was because she wanted to boil water and make tea for Boom, while Boom, who knew nothing about it, was bathing in the midday sun.

"The weather is nice today. If you are bored, you can go out for a walk in the afternoon. I have some gold coins here." Boom looked at Lulu with a smile.

"No, I like reading. Brother, please practice hard." Lulu smiled sweetly and then returned to the utility room again.

A moment later, the small courtyard replicated the scene in the morning, with Boom still practicing his magic power silently, and Lulu sitting quietly by the window.

As time passed by, Lulu's mood became better and better. Although it is not completely certain, it seems that the stranger gave up the search for the spirit body.

The setting sun replaced the scorching sun, dyeing the dazzling sunlight orange. Rikka returned on time, and Lulu was waiting at the entrance of the courtyard. Boom's figure appeared in the small courtyard, and the day came to an end.

"Yes, the trick to frying a steak is to turn it over as little as possible. Medium rare is the perfect state, and don't forget to rest the meat."

Rikka stood next to Lulu, constantly giving reminders while stuffing the "failure" into her mouth. Boom shook his head in confusion, and then slowly walked towards the two of them.

"My cooking skills are actually quite good, how about..." The second half of Boom's words were slapped back by Rikka with a piece of bread.

Then the three of them sat around the dining table, tasting the steak fried by Lulu herself, while listening to Rikka chatting about interesting things about the mercenaries.

When night fell, Lulu, who wanted to say goodbye, was hugged by Rikka. Lulu turned into a stuffed toy at this moment, and was constantly being kneaded by a pair of small hands.

"Don't go to the utility room from now on. How about sleeping here with me?" Although Rikka was asking Lulu, her eyes were turned to Boom.

"I trust your intuition, let's do it this way." As soon as Boom said this, the two girls looked at each other and smiled, then threw themselves into Boom's arms.

The candlelight swayed slightly and the fire gradually dimmed. Boom's voice murmured in the room, while Rikka and Lulu were holding his arms, one on the left and the other on the right.

"The little gray rabbit is running on the grassland, and the fragrance of flowers is floating in the air."

"The little deer stopped by the stream in the forest, and the starlight filtered through the branches and scattered all over the ground."

"Children who are sleeping have good dreams tonight, in which the bread is sweet and the soup is hot."

Boom hummed a lullaby and slowly got up from the bed. The bearskin blanket wrapped the two of them tightly, and wisps of burnt smoke floated out of the extinguished candle wick.

Sitting in the small courtyard, Boom quietly drank ale and looked up at the sky. The magic power in his body was always full, and he was only a few cents away from advancing.

With a soft sigh melting into the moonlight, Boom once again took out a pot of ale from the storage bag, hoping that tonight he could temporarily forget his worries.

However, Lulu, who is a spirit body, is huddled in a bearskin blanket at this moment. She does not need sleep, let alone food, but she hopes that she can feel the same.

Tears welled up from her eyes, and Lulu tried her best to cover her mouth with her small hands, trying not to make a sound. She had a fulfilling life today, and she must not destroy these good things with her own hands.

Feeling Rikka's body temperature, the unique smell of Boom spread in the air. The night wind kept breaking into the room through the cracks, and Lulu smiled and closed her eyes.

There was another crack in the dragon crystal in the chest, and Lulu raised the corner of her mouth, then turned over and got into Rikka's arms. Rikka took advantage of the situation and hugged her tightly, as if she had found a little girl who found her favorite toy.

The small courtyard is completely silent, but the hourglass of time is like a high court with no peace. It will neither stop flowing nor speed up.
