Chapter 86 Humble Corner Alley

The faint moonlight and the magic chandelier combined into a darkness, vaguely and hazily, covering the entirety of Mean Corner Alley.

The outline of the shop is connected to the gravel path, and the surrounding walls are covered with unknown vines. The magic lamps on the roadside are constantly emitting light, like elves captured from the stars.

The street is like a calm stream, winding in the shadow of dense trees. Only the leaves rustling due to wind and rain seem to recall the excitement and busyness during the day.

Dots of silver light filtered through the gaps in the night, decorating them into countless mottled spots. The black robe was inconspicuous, but it blocked the gentle breeze.

Medea walked around several corners and came to a small, decayed garden. The dense silt grass was emitting a fishy smell, and the branches of the fish-scale tree were also swaying in the wind.

There were several rat-lilies floating on the turbid water pool, and the four-eyed spider fish occasionally emerged from the water and sprayed water arrows. It was the time for the palace dance, so she was able to sneak out of the palace.

The moonlight fell, and Medea's figure looked slightly cold, blending in with the gloomy atmosphere around her. The magic crystal sparks that were constantly shooting out flickered on and off, reflecting on her haggard face, shining in various colors.

The occasional drunken man passing by carried the sour smell of low-quality ale, and the fluorescence of magic light bombs shuttled in the sky and clouds. The clamor coming from the midnight black market continued, and at some point, Medea's figure disappeared.

Poor Corner Alley is located at the northernmost edge of the Arcane Guild. It is a long street paved with cobblestones, with countless shops crowded on both sides.

If the black market is synonymous with filth, then Shaggy Corner Alley is a majestic black market. From goblin clocks and glasses, to elven handicrafts, and even extremely rare animal horns and dragon scales.

Shabby Corner Alley has always followed the ancient law of "gold coins are everything". There are only things you can't imagine here, but there is nothing you can't buy.

But as an integral part of the most prosperous city in the Augu continent, it seems very annoying. The law of the jungle is evident here, and deception and abduction are commonplace.

The mixture of dragons and snakes is its characteristic, and the smoky atmosphere is its label. The skeletons of rare animals made into decorations can be seen everywhere, and the mucus of highly venomous flying snakes is left in the containers.

The dazzling array of troll magic weapons exudes an evil aura, and the ancient runes that confuse the mind are right in front of you. However, there is no credibility here. Fortunately, everyone is not a good person, and it is common to have bad intentions and sudden cold arrows.

Medea walked alone in the cool and colorful night, blending in with the humble alleys. She didn't have to think about any worries, and she was no longer tied down by worldly affairs. Everything was so comfortable.

Counting from the wedding day, she had been married to her for more than half a month. But during this more than half a month, she spent every night in pain.

In her eyes, the eldest prince Diego is comparable to the most terrifying demon. That thin mithril whip is her lingering nightmare.

She wants to die, but what should she do with her parents and relatives? As a noble, the first thing you consider is never yourself, but the fate of the entire family.

During the day, Medea is like a beautiful Cisse flower blooming in the royal city. She is held in the palms of countless people, and she even often chats with the queen.

But as night falls, my beautiful image fades quickly. The mirror doesn't lie, my crawling look is like the humblest dog.

However, she endured it all alone, with no one to share it with, let alone talk to anyone. Even when she went to the toilet, she couldn't make any sound.

Medea is not an idiot, nor is she a submissive little woman. She is waiting, waiting for an opportunity to appear one day, an opportunity to kill the eldest prince Diego.

Tonight she came to Mean Corner Alley, not to sneak out of the palace to relax, but to find something that could make up for her ordinary weakness.

However, she was a little disappointed, because what was sold here were either those magic crystal staffs or some sword secret books. For more than half an hour, Medea didn't even see a bottle of poison.

Standing in front of the last shop, she sighed. It seemed that her plan needed to be changed. Maybe she should go to the black market next time.

"What do you need?" the boss looked at Medea and asked.

"I'll just take a look first." Medea looked around with disappointment.

I saw countless bottles and jars placed on wooden shelves, and each container contained a kind of creature, like an innocent soul that refused to die in peace.

And those yellow-brown antiseptic solutions turned into death's storage bags, permanently freezing them at the moment when you closed your eyes.

"Most of the people who come to me have not found what they need. What are you looking for? Love potion?" The boss looked at Medea and asked again.

"I am an ordinary person, and the person I want to kill is very powerful. Do you have such a thing?" Medea replied disheartenedly, having already stepped out of the store with one foot.

"There are many kinds of this thing. I don't know which one you need?" The boss still looked lazy, but these words made Medea turn around suddenly.

Not long after, she and her boss were standing in the darkroom, with five or six small bottles lined up on the table in front of her.

"These two are the dark elves' petrified powder and the water from the other side," the boss said.

"This is the goblin poison, and that one comes from the Pava Federation," the boss continued to introduce.

"But I recommend this to you, but I don't know if you can bear the pain." The boss finally picked up a bottle, which contained a black ball.

Medea smiled when she heard this. She smiled brightly and sadly. It was painful. For her now, it was just a common occurrence.

A crystal coin slipped from her sleeve, but the boss shook his head and did not hand over the bottle.

He signaled Medea to stretch out her arm, then gently pulled out the cork, and turned the bottle upside down. A moment later, the black ball suddenly raised its tentacles and stretched out six thin legs.

It turns out that this thing is not a poisonous pill, but a mysterious poisonous insect.

Pain! Medea held back tears and stared at the little thing. She saw it cut the skin, cut off the blood vessels, and finally penetrated into her body.

This poisonous insect will always live in its own body, feeding on flesh and drinking blood. It can only attack once in its life. It will die instantly after breaking through the skin, emitting an aura that can kill high-level professionals.

Walking on the way back to the palace, Medea touched her arm, her eyes filled with resentment. The palace dance came to an end, and she put on her mask again and blended into the crowd.

In the stone tower, the eldest prince Diego slowly pulled out the thin mithril whip, his expression was not ferocious, as if he was still the same as during the day.

Medea raised her hands to untie her clothes, then crawled on the ground and crawled towards the other party in the moonlight. In the end, she became a pet dog that accompanied her master.

The sweet plum wine wetted her hair, and then flowed down her cheeks into her mouth. The other party threw a piece of cake towards the corner, and all Medea needed to do was to pick it back up.

Lying on the cold and hard floor, her back was smeared with ointment, but the person who initiated all this had long since disappeared.

Slowly raising her arms, her eyes were fixed on a certain place, where the poisonous insects had just had their fill of wine and food.
