Chapter 19 The Three Buddhas(1/2)

 What is a monk?

All sentient beings are grateful for the wonderful Dharma of the West, recite Buddhist scriptures day and night, accumulate virtue and do good deeds. After death, their souls are led to Mount Sumeru and transform into Buddhist monks.

As the years changed, the number of monks increased dramatically, and a mixture of good and bad gradually appeared.

Their races, skills, factions, and bloodlines are all different, and the West cannot cultivate them using the existing system.

Therefore, why monks practice Buddhism has become a difficult problem for Buddhism.

In the Chunhe Lecture a hundred years later, Tathagata Buddha called the bhikkhu a beggar.

He entered Buddhism through the Tao and was humble in nature. He believed that the endless temples in the secular world were the place where monks lived.

The beggar represents the humility of Buddhism and always practices in a small position.

"Begging all Buddhas for their principles to nourish their wisdom and life, and begging all sentient beings for their food and clothing to nourish their physical bodies."

These two aspects express the Tathagata's belief in practicing Buddhism, always listening respectfully to the teachings of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, and humbly accepting donations and offerings from good believers in the ten directions.

Don’t be arrogant by being noble, don’t be unruly by being powerful, don’t be proud by being profound.

The Tathagata's views and opinions have been highly praised by Buddhism. All living beings regard themselves as beggars and strictly require themselves to maintain a respectful attitude.

It was not until the early days of calamity in the West that the Tathagata's views were overturned by the golden cicada at the Orchid Bon Fruit Festival.

He is in charge of punishing evil and killing in the West, paving the road with blood, and has always disdained the tender and gentle way of doing things.

Regarding Buddhist monks, Jin Chanzi calls it breaking evil.

Get rid of all evils, wash away the dead souls with corpses and blood, and create a prosperous age of singing and dancing.

Evil deeds, evil views, evil words, and evil thoughts will all be destroyed in the lightning flash.

There are so many bhikkhus. If they are all those who punish evil and promote good, eradicate evil and eradicate evil, then there is no need to worry about the illusory world built by Buddhism not turning illusion into reality.

At that time, Jin Chanzi's views caused a great impact on Buddhism, and even conflicted with Tathagata's previous views.

The Journey to the West is about to begin, and the image of Buddhism is extremely important. The Buddhas would like to use up the rainbow and clouds to decorate Mount Sumeru. How can they see blood and killing?

Because of this, Jin Chanzi was demoted to the mortal world and was forced to use the power of reincarnation to wash away the dust.

After traveling to the west to measure tribulations, the third person to put forward a point of view was Shariputra Jiguang.

Yoshimitsu calls the bhikkhu a terrifying demon.

The demon of terror represents responsibility, which is the same as King Suddhodana’s belief in no hesitation when he fell.

Jiguang used Buddhism to gather his willpower for all living beings, not seeking his own happiness, but only seeking refuge for all things in the world. He never regretted it until his death.

In his autobiography, he said: "I don't seek happiness for myself, but I hope all living beings can be freed from suffering."

With this fearless temperament, he saves all sentient beings from suffering and makes those monsters and ghosts feel frightened.

The three titles of beggar, destroying evil, and fearing demons represent the three schools of self-cultivation, elimination of evil, and dedication.

This is the famous theory of the Three Buddhas in Western history.

Infinite brilliance of wisdom fills the majestic Mahavira Palace, and the mountains and plains are filled with endless pearls and emerald silk ribbons.

The phantom of the Buddha condensed with luck, his eyes twinkling, gradually rendered with the color of wisdom.

Manjusri's face is solemn, his hand holding the treasure seal is in the shape of a lotus, and his skin reveals layers of clear ripples.

The "Vajra Prajna Sutra" caused the wind and clouds to converge, and boundless auspiciousness and blessings emerged, echoing with the sword of wisdom and rays of light.

The sky, clouds and sea, the vast ocean formed by the gathering of merits and virtues, are magnificent, and they have the ambition to swallow up mountains and rivers.

At the same time, the eyes of the Buddha's golden body were completely penetrated by the light of wisdom, turning into azure sapphires and shining brightly.

"The Tathagata is humble and forbearing, the golden cicada is decisive in killing, and Jiguang is compassionate to all living beings. These three Buddhas are all powerful men in Buddhism of the era. They have unique insights into practice. If they can single-handedly control the monks, they will definitely make the prestige of Buddhism rise.

, It is a pity that the monks in the previous life did not receive any enlightenment, but were born out of self-confidence and enlightenment, which wasted their boundless Buddhist luck."

"The venerables are of noble birth, their eyes are higher than their heads, and they like to talk about golden rules. They never really look down on the monks, but they don't know that the most basic strength is the most important. This is also the common mentality of the sages in the world. They have a silver spoon in their mouths.

I was born, grew up with praise and flattery, and never struggled in the mud and suffering."

"However, I want to thank them. There are constant battles at the top, full of dangerous traps and conspiracies. Only by winning over the power from the bottom can I help me achieve my great cause."

Manjusri's eyes are bright, causing the heaven's merits to fall boldly.

The rolling waves have no end in sight, like a giant dragon roaring with great force, and like the Milky Way pouring down and rushing endlessly.

The boundless golden ocean blooms with extremely pure merit and aura, making pollution and suffering retreat.

When the powerful men sitting in the main hall saw this, they couldn't help but show envious expressions.

"Teacher is really powerful. He can mobilize such majestic merit. After absorbing all this vast ocean, he will be able to successfully break through to the Golden Immortal Realm. In the future, he will not be hindered everywhere when doing things in the West."

Jin Zha's eyes were full of joy, and he sat up straight with great anticipation, with the corners of his mouth slightly raised.

He focused all his attention on Manjusri, but did not realize that the people around him were looking at him.

Jin Zha is Manjusri's direct disciple. The two share the same honor and disgrace, and depend on each other for blessings and misfortunes.

In his previous life, Jin Zha was a pioneer general who conquered the Three Realms and made great contributions to Heaven. Especially after being named a marshal, he gained great fortune and countless merit rewards.

As a teacher, Manjusri benefited from this, and his fortune was magnanimous and smooth.

Nowadays, Manjusri has taken the lead in achieving the status of Bodhisattva and enlightening reincarnation. The two paths of bhikkhu are constantly connected. At the same time, Jin Zha will naturally increase.

Taibai Jinxing turned her head and found that Jin Zha was full of energy, exuding a free and fresh atmosphere, and her eyes immediately condensed.

"The bond between master and apprentice is really mysterious. No wonder the Jade Emperor specially ordered me to come and observe. With such a teacher as the source, Jin Zha will be able to move forward bravely and overcome difficulties and obstacles in the future. It seems that the Li family is going to prosper."

"The golden immortal backer with deep luck has a say in heaven many times more effective than those Da Luo who are just hanging on."

Thinking of this, Taibai Jinxing lightly twisted his long beard, looked at Manjusri, and almost pulled off his beard in shock.

"Huh? How come the realm has not changed!"

The dazzling ocean of merit gradually dissipated, and Manjusri's thin figure appeared.

He did not absorb the merits and virtues to improve his realm, but instilled them all in the "Vajra Prajna Sutra".

This simple and tattered bamboo slip absorbs all the merits like a whale, and its surface shines with a dazzling golden luster.

Buddha treasure of merit!

"How is that possible!" Ma Yuan's eyes widened, he slapped the table and exclaimed.

The "Vajra Prajna Sutra" is a technique created by Manjusri himself, and there is no actual record of it.

The bamboo slips flying out of the body are just phantoms containing scriptures. How can they absorb merit and nurture Buddha treasures like actual objects?

The sudden change immediately attracted the attention of all powerful people.

Everyone was talking a lot, watching Manjusri being lifted into the sky by a green lion, slowly pushing this meritorious Buddha treasure towards the phantom of the Buddha's golden body.

Starlight sat in the back row, stretching her neck in confusion, wondering what everyone was talking about.

Yu Yixian looked at Kong Xuan's back, his eyes full of loneliness and melancholy, and he sighed involuntarily.

He turned his head and saw Xingguang's confused look, and suddenly laughed loudly.

After a long time, he stopped laughing, put his arm around Xingguang's shoulders, and said in a very gentle tone.

"Silly boy, I'll teach you to be a good boy."

After saying that, he took out a stone and placed it on the table, then used his magic power to condense the same stone and placed it next to it.

"You see, real stones have touch, temperature, and weight. They can be refined into magical instruments, tempered into treasures, and give birth to life. Such stones can carry merit, but stones condensed with magic power are different.

No matter how lifelike it is, it is still an illusion, it just looks like a god."

"The effects of merit are extremely broad, but they need to be based on actual objects in order to truly exert their effects. This rule has not been broken for several years, but Manjusri did it."

"Oh my God!" Xingguang said in great surprise: "Manjushri Bodhisattva is really powerful, he can actually..."

"Are you deaf?" Yuyi Xian stretched out his hand and flicked Xingguang.

"As I said just now, this is the power of the rules of heaven. Not to mention Manjusri, not even the saints can break it. Manjusri clearly has the ability to turn illusion into substance. Only then can the bamboo slips carry the influence of the ocean of merit.

."

"So that's it." Xingguang heard this and rubbed his head and asked: "Senior Yuyixian, how did he do it?"

"Kid, if I knew everything, I wouldn't be sitting next to you."

Under the spotlight of everyone, Manjusri is wearing a dazzling red gold cassock, and the precious light is transpiring wantonly and endlessly, making him look like a phoenix flying high.

He held the bamboo slip devoutly and delivered it steadily to the Buddha.

The luck of Buddhism suddenly surged and trembled, rising again. The Buddha's golden body stretched out his big hand and held the bamboo slip firmly in his palm.

Its eyes are clear, its rosette is pure, its bamboo slips are simple, and it embodies the spiritual essence of heaven and earth.

Seeing this, Manjusri bowed and saluted with satisfaction.

He landed steadily in the center of the hall, clasped his hands together, and sighed with great compassion.
