Chapter 74 You have narrowed the road

Lou Shan has gray hair on his temples and a weathered face. He is leaning on a mahogany crutch, and the wrinkles on his face are as continuous as ditches.

His true form is that of a blue water rhinoceros known for its speed, but due to his old age and depletion of energy and blood, his appearance has aged and his body has become hunched over.

Lou Shan has a pure nature and is willing to help others. During the tens of thousands of years of practice, he has always adhered to his original intention to accumulate virtue and do good deeds, and is deeply loved by his Western disciples.

He is highly respected and can often respond to a hundred calls. He is the leader of the lower classes and is called the Hidden Lord.

Lou Shan has a kind face, and the golden wheel of merit behind his head naturally evolves when he feels the breath of glazed pure water.

The golden wheel is dazzling, interlocking with each other, shining brightly, and filled with precious light, making all living beings envious.

He was suddenly stopped by Manjusri and immediately attracted everyone's attention.

"Excuse me, Venerable Manjusri, I know everything I know." Lou Shan said with great respect.

Manjusri held the cold wave purification bottle in his hand, looked at Lou Shan's old face, and said in a cold voice, "Let me ask you, how long is your life span in this life, and how much life is left?"

"Back to your venerable sir, I am already six hundred and seventy years old, and I will die in thirty years."

"Since you will die in thirty years, why did you use the Eight Treasures Merit Pool to reincarnate in advance?" Manjusri frowned and asked in confusion.

"Oh, wine and rice bags." Maitreya looked at him coldly, full of disdain.

Lou Shan's life is short, and it is useless to continue wasting it. Rather than wasting thirty years in vain, it is better to be reincarnated early and start all over again. This is a truth that everyone in the West knows, but he actually asked in front of everyone.

Bringing humiliation to oneself.

Lou Shan was a little dazed, and suddenly remembered that Manjusri had just entered the West and did not understand the ways inside, so he quickly explained: "The venerable master is unaware of something. He is old and has poor qualifications. It is not easy to practice to the current state. In addition, the body is decayed and the qi and blood are dry.

, there is no big use in continuing to live, so reincarnating and rebuilding in advance can also save some time."

Lou Shan's tone was respectful, and he found that Manjusri's face became more and more ugly, and his words became more tactful.

After he finished explaining, Maitreya said sarcastically: "Venerable Manjushri, you are new here and don't know Western rules. Just get along with us more in the future. There is no need to feel embarrassed about it. So-called~"

"Nonsense!" Before Maitreya could finish his words, he was mercilessly interrupted by Manjusri.

His eyes widened with anger and his face was livid, as if he was forcibly holding back the rage in his heart. He pointed at Lou Shan's nose and scolded: "The Second Saint is grateful for the difficulty of your cultivation. Together with countless Western sages, you have worked hard and shed blood to create this supreme treasure of reincarnation.

All Western creatures strive to extend their lifespan and strive for vitality, but you are so extravagant and wasteful, squandering it at will."

"Every time you reincarnate, you need to consume a drop of glazed water. It seems as light as a feather, but have you ever thought that the sand will form a tower and the armpit will become a fur. No matter how much glazed water you have, there will be a day when it is exhausted, just like Lou

Shan still has thirty years of life left, and he can definitely accumulate virtue and do good, save all sentient beings, spread clouds and rain, and add heritage to the West, but he actually does nothing and brags about how incompetent he is."

The heartbreaking scolding caused ripples in the water of the pool, like countless sharp knives, piercing the hearts of the Western disciples, making them ashamed and flushed.

Manjusri stamped his feet and beat his chest angrily, wishing he could raise his head to the sky and scream, pointing at everyone's noses and cursing.

"It's ridiculous that such extravagant and wasteful behavior is the norm in the West. You are squandering your lifespan at will. Have you ever thought that every time you reincarnate, you are gnawing on the flesh and blood of the ancestors. If they see such shameless and self-degrading people,

Junior, what will you think in your heart?"

His scolding resounded in Lou Shan’s heart like a thunderbolt from the blue.

Regret and self-blame suddenly welled up in his heart. He had been doing nothing and waiting to die, which made him kneel to the ground in shame.

"The venerable sir calmed down his anger, and Loushan realized his sin."

Manjusri looked at the nearby Western disciples with an excited expression and his eyes were like lightning. All the disciples who looked at him lowered their heads in shame.

"Alas." Manjusri sighed and warned with sincerity.

"Everyone, the spiritual power in the West is scarce and the land is barren. It is a time when everything is waiting to be revitalized. The two saints have been running for several Yuanhui to get some improvement, but you never know how to cherish it. Relying on the Eight Treasures Merit Pool,

If I don’t think about progress and do nothing all day long, when will the West be able to flourish!"

His words rippled in everyone's hearts, and feelings of guilt quietly spread.

"What Venerable Manjusri said is absolutely true. We have relied too much on the Eight Treasures Merit Pool and have actually lost our determination to make progress. We have to rely on the saints to do everything themselves. I am really ashamed."

"Loushan consumes glazed water wantonly, but so are you. The efforts of our forefathers have been wasted, and we are all responsible."

[To be honest, I have been using Yeguoyuedu to read and catch up on books recently. I can switch sources and read aloud with many sounds. yeguoyuedu is available for Android and Apple.]

"These words are like enlightenment. In the future, I will definitely not waste my life at will."

Manjusri personally lifted Lou Shan up, looked at the glazed water in the pool, thought sadly for a long time, and then made up his mind to speak to everyone.

"Fortunately, Lord Maitreya reminded me that if there are no rules, no matter how much water there is, it will be exhausted. From now on, no matter who uses this treasure to reincarnate, one successful virtue will be automatically deducted."

His words immediately caused a commotion in the crowd.

"What, to ask for 10%? Isn't it like a goose plucking its feathers? The merits we accumulated through hard work ended up in his pocket."

"Yes, this merit seems to be very little, but who knows that to become a monk, you have to practice for at least ten lives. It will be too painful to be exploited by him in the future."

In the Maitreya room, Manjusri showed his fox tail and asked loudly, "Venerable Manjusri, your appearance is too ugly. It is not easy for a living being to cultivate, so why are you so greedy?"

"Alas, you have made the road narrow."

Manjusri shook his head helplessly and looked at Maitreya with soft eyes.

"I started cultivating again from the realm of immortals, but I didn't know the humbleness and hard work of the lower class beings. The merits extracted were not to line my own pockets, but to fill the shortfall of the West."

"Those ruins and dilapidated landscapes need these merits to fill the gaps. Because of our efforts, the West will flourish, with strong spiritual power and long luck. Lord Maitreya, am I wrong to do this?"

"This~" Maitreya was speechless and didn't know how to answer. Manjusri continued.

"It is indeed not easy for you to accumulate merit, but we must know how to pay, so that the West can regain its past glory. If you are really dissatisfied, please hate me. I am willing to bear all the blame."

The cold wind blew, and Manjusri's figure suddenly grew taller. His dedication and dedication suddenly infected countless living beings.

"Your Majesty has shown us the way, so please pay me my respects." Lou Shan knelt down on the ground with tears in his eyes. In his heart, Manjusri was like the moonlight in the middle of the night, lighting up the way forward for him.

Lou Shan's behavior infected countless Western disciples, who all fell to their knees in tears of gratitude and shouted that Venerable Manjusri was righteous.

Everything that happened here was seen by Zhunti.

He carefully savored what Manjusri had done, and suddenly realized that this man indeed had great potential.

The brilliance of wisdom flashed, and he used this deduction to see the future scene.

With this rule, the consumption rate of glazed water will be greatly slowed down, and the West will gradually become more energetic under the influence of the extracted merits. Those disciples who have only a short lifespan will no longer be inactive and scatter around to comb the mountains.

Diverting water into the sea, the entire West exudes rare vitality.

Manjusri paid so much without nagging him for any benefits. Such selfless dedication made him admire him.

Thinking of this, Zhunti said happily to Jieyin.

"Brother, we seem to have really taken a narrow road."
