Chapter 323 Strange Dream

ah?!!!

Victor struggled to escape from the cage of fear, and suddenly a dazzling sunlight squeezed into his eyes, making it difficult for him to adapt. It took him a long time to recover.

It was already dawn, the birds on the branches were chirping, and the woman was sitting on the smooth stone in front of her, looking at him with interest.

The bonfire not far away had already been extinguished. Oliver, who was holding up his trousers, came around from behind the carriage and shouted at everyone: "What are you waiting for? Should we continue on our way?"

Victor's rapid breathing slowly eased. He looked at the woman in front of him and smiled awkwardly: "I had a nightmare."

Amanda raised the corner of her mouth. Behind her, Elold had already picked up his belongings and said to Victor in a mocking tone: "Someone volunteered to stay vigil, but fell asleep himself. That's great."

Victor was too lazy to pay attention to him and stood up, patting his butt and getting ready to take the car.

Amanda stared at him for a long time and then said: "If you want to have a good sleep, you can ask me for help."

Victor took a deep breath and rolled his eyes, but said nothing.

After that, the three of them got on Oliver's carriage again and headed for the border of Ghana.

The investigators were huddled in the carport, having nothing to talk about, and they were extremely bored.

The scene from last night's nightmare kept reappearing in Victor's mind, making it difficult for him to let it go for a long time.

It was so real that I could feel the pain. Except for Alice's head, there were no other bizarre images. It didn't look like a dream at all.

And what’s even weirder is that Victor clearly exited the secret place and should have woken up immediately, but instead he fell into a dream, as if his consciousness was dragged into a nightmare before his consciousness returned to reality.

.

The last time I had such a weird dream was when I was parasitized by the wriggling protoplasm. It was a sign before I became obsessed.

"Do you think I'm going to be obsessed again?"

Victor couldn't help but feel frightened for a while.

"its not right……"

He could feel that he had not reached the threshold for studying the esoteric transmission, and his spiritual body could not see the wriggling protoplasm on his body in the secret residence, and there were no symptoms of ecstasy at all.

So what happened? Is it really just an accident?

Taking another deep breath, Victor glanced at Amanda and suddenly remembered something.

On the train before, the three of them were attacked by the seers sent by the eastern forces. Although they defeated each other, it was hard to say whether anyone else was still watching them...

What if last night's nightmare was an enemy trying to attack his mind?

When he woke up, Amanda's reminder once again echoed in Victor's ears. He thought that if that happened again, he could really let Amanda see through his dreams to see if anyone was secretly causing trouble.

As the vehicle drove in the evening, Oliver finally took them back to his home.

It was a house made of stones, with a very simple appearance. In front of it was a small yard surrounded by branches and hedges, where several turkeys were raised.

Elold took out a map and pointed out that this place probably just entered the territory of Canada.

Victor couldn't help but lamented the behavior of the old hunter again. His journey to and from the hunting location really took two full days. How dare he go hunting so far away from home when he lives alone?

There is no human habitation for dozens of kilometers around, and when the sun goes down, this area will be dark again.

"I'm used to it." Oliver poured black oil on the torch hanging outside the door and lit it. "I don't care if I will be buried in the suburbs one day."

"How long does it take to get to the nearest town from here?" Amanda asked him.

"Let's hike for two more days! The southern part of Canida is relatively deserted. You are going to the Santo Toango area, right?" Oliver replied.

"So where is the nearest train station? You can go to Lilqua." Amanda continued to ask.

Oliver thought for a moment in silence and suddenly said: "The railway over there is broken down. You may have to walk there."

"Hiking? How far does that have to go?" Amanda opened her mouth slightly, complaining a little in her heart, why didn't Oliver tell him about this in the first place?

"There is no way, the railway has been broken for a long time, and the government of Ghana has invested its budget in other places. You can rest temporarily at my house tonight and start your journey again tomorrow."

After Oliver finished speaking, he started to light a fire in the middle of the yard, preparing to hang out the hunting harvest and roast it.

Amanda and others were not familiar with the terrain of Canada at all, and it was impossible to reach the San Doango area, let alone Rilcuy, with just a map.

Oliver's carriage was still parked aside. She thought about it and suddenly said to Oliver: "I have a proposal, for example... I will pay you another sum of money, and then you will send us to the Santo Toango area.

how?"

Oliver sat by the fire and looked up at her: "That's too far. The journey is at least three times the distance we came back before. Even I have never been so far away from home."

Amanda took out a wad of banknotes and waved them in front of her face, surprising Oliver.

He opened his mouth, and began to wonder in his heart whether the three people in front of him were from a debt collection company, and how could they be so rich.

"How about it? Would you consider it?"

Amanda makes a suggestion and Oliver weighs it carefully.

Victor suddenly noticed that this guy's expression was a little strange, and there was a sudden fierceness in his fearful eyes.

"make a deal!"

"Wait a minute." Victor suddenly interrupted them out of curiosity, "You live so far away from other places of residence, why do you need all this money?"

Even Amanda didn't think about this problem. She thought that the other party would do things after receiving the money, and never considered whether it was reasonable or not.

Oliver was also stunned. He hesitated for a long time before pointing to his carriage and saying: "If I never go to town, can I get these clothes?"

"Okay! Do you want to quarrel or eat? I'm hungry enough." Elold sat down by the fire, took out a knife and started cutting the venison on the grill, regardless of whether Oliver agreed or not.

Then he said: "You can sleep in the yard tonight! If you feel uncomfortable, you can sleep on the carriage. I will make an exception for you."

As soon as he finished speaking, Victor pointed to the stone house: "Can't we sleep in the house?"

"You don't think I prepared the guest's room and bed, do you?" After Oliver finished speaking, he threw away the wooden stick in his hand angrily, took out the key and opened the door of his house. Before entering, he warned, "This

I’ll give you a deer leg for dinner, but remember! Don’t come near my house! Otherwise I’ll kick you all away!”

With a bang, the wooden door was closed and he entered.

The three elites of the Anti-Suppression Department looked at each other without speaking, and then started eating around the fire.

The atmosphere is extra awkward, which is the result of forcing people who can't deal with it together to perform tasks.

Unexpectedly, they had to sleep in the open air for the third night, and they didn't know how many nights they would sleep in the future. A train accident actually brought them to such a remote place, leaving everyone in a state of panic.

The three of them ate and prepared to rest. Elold got into the carport to sleep first. Only one person could sleep there. Amanda didn't say anything, just leaned against the fire and closed her eyes.

Victor's hair was messy and he felt very uncomfortable, but there was nothing he could do. He thought about getting up in the morning and asking Oliver for some water to wash his hair.

"I just want to have a good dream tonight!" Victor sighed in his heart, and put two charms on himself before going to bed before he could sleep peacefully.

But what happened next took a turn that Victor didn't expect.

He didn't have the same nightmare as last night, but he entered the secret residence without meditating or using the key!
