Chapter 599 Funeral and Money

The crew told Mike that their captain ran below the deck, and Mike ordered his men to chase him down.

The cargo ship had anchored and was forced to stop in the middle of the sea. Three fishing boats were floating near the Greycove.

Eredin did not board the ship with her. She stayed on a fishing boat, munching a green apple leisurely.

Will, whose leg was injured, was very anxious. He stood at the front of the fishing boat and kept staring at the freighter in front of him.

Suddenly there was a loud noise, and the bottom of the freighter exploded. Heat waves and shock waves overturned the fishing boat that was close to it, and all the people on it fell into the sea.

Will was shocked, yelled "no", and then kept twirling his hair.

Eredin was also shocked by the explosion and stood up immediately. Under the night cover, seawater could be seen pouring in from the place where the explosion occurred.

"It's over. If Mike dies, that guy will come to trouble me..."

As the Greycove sank, the three surviving fishing boats began to salvage and rescue those who fell into the water.

They fished out their companion who had just fallen into the water, and rescued some crew members of the freighter on board, but immediately controlled the latter.

The Cambino family anxiously searched for their boss, and finally found a man floating with a wooden board in the darkness.

That's Mike Cambino, and he's not dead!

The people on the fishing boat raised their hands and cheered, and hurried over to rescue him on the boat.

Mike's arm was burned by the flames, leaving a deep scar, but fortunately there were no serious injuries elsewhere.

His coat was lost and his hat was lost, but he didn't care because he had more troublesome things to deal with.

"Is Ben is dead..."

After getting on the boat, Mike first gave Will good news.

However, the worse news was behind.

"But he detonated the explosives and the ship was lost."

As he finished speaking, the keel of the tilted freighter broke, and an extremely terrifying gap opened in the center, and seawater poured in instantly.

"We lost ten people... they did not survive the explosion."

Mike took the hot water from his subordinates and told them the sad news.

People's mood suddenly became heavy, and finally Mike ordered to sail the boat back to the Cambino family's territory first.

This night's shipwreck attracted the attention of Port Violet and made newspaper headlines the next day. The name of the ship and its owner were quickly confirmed.

At the same time, Captain Isben disappeared. After a brief investigation, the police department concluded that he had died on the Greycove.

In order to find out the truth of that night, the police department continued to search for the surviving crew members of the Greycove.

However, the strange thing is that none of the dozens of crew members working on that ship, regardless of their position, are no longer in Renekton.

There is no news about some of them, and they may have sunk to the bottom of the sea with the freighter.

Some left Renekton that night without telling anyone why.

All in all, this is a strange mystery, and as we all know, the police department can always "detect" such mysteries quickly.

So in less than a week, the police station came to a conclusion about what happened that night - it was a drunk crew member who mishandled the coal stove and caused a fire, which caused the explosion and fire of the freighter, and eventually the ship sank...

All in all, the Graycove incident ended up being nothing.

Over the course of this week, the Cambino family held several funerals, causing residents in the area near Diamond Road to panic, thinking another death was the result of a gang fight.

Of course they didn't know that these people who were being mourned all sank to the bottom of the sea with the Grecov.

Will Evans was even more dissatisfied than the residents because the Greycove sank. His original plan was to seize the ship from Is Ben and force him to sign a transfer agreement before killing him.

But Mike's boarding operation failed to deal with the problem of Is Ben, which made him jump over the wall and make such a move.

At the funeral of a member of the Campino family, Will took advantage of the priest from the Land of Bright Light to read the eulogy, limped to Mike's side, and only sat down after getting the consent of his men.

"No time, Mike..."

The first words he said after sitting down interrupted Mike's meditation.

He, who was mourning the deceased, suddenly frowned.

"Any questions? Mr. Will?"

Mike remembered that he had already explained to Will after he came back that the original internal conflict with him was just to convey his emotions to Is Ben and Charlie Rost, and the purpose was to induce conflicts between the other two.

Logically speaking, Will should be able to understand Mike's intentions, so why is he still looking like he's going to accuse him?

Will said: "Our business is cut off, what should we do next?"

After hearing this, Mike understood Will's intention, but he closed his eyes again and answered him: "It's not the right time to talk about this today. Please respect the deceased."

"Is it necessary to waste time on such things?" Will was a little annoyed, "You have been attending funerals these days, when can you do something serious?"

Mike sighed and replied: "This is business. It is the basis for the Cambino family to be supported by people. We value every gang member."

"Wouldn't that make money?" Will became even more annoyed.

Mike then opened his eyes and glanced at him: "The Cambino family has other businesses, and the cooperation with you is not all, just a small project."

When Will heard this, his face suddenly turned cold.

He snorted, stood up with the cane, and left without anyone stopping him.

As a result, as soon as he left, the person sitting in the seat behind Mike switched to sit next to Mike, sat in Will's seat, and pushed down the sunglasses on his face.

She has light yellow hair tied up, which looks like white hair at first glance.

"There seems to be a crack in the cooperation between you."

Eredin said calmly.

Mike touched his collar and said, "Maybe, but that's not important. He is Mr. Victor's man. I have to consider that person's face."

Eredin laughed and said softly: "You know what? I have lived for such a long time and have met many ambitious guys. He is a typical example of him. This person is too impulsive and unwilling to be inferior to others. He may be a bad example in the future.

It will cause you trouble."

Mike sighed, knowing very well in his heart.

Will's personality has gradually changed with his wealth, which has caused Mike a lot of trouble.

But there is also an advantage. He is always personally involved in opening up new businesses and constantly helping him and Victor make money. Although there are some minor conflicts in the process, the overall benefits outweigh the disadvantages.

Therefore, Mike did not want to continue discussing Will's topic with Eredin, and concentrated on listening to the priest's eulogy.

At the same time, at the Federal Supreme Court in San Fran, all suspects involved in the assassination of the president began a centralized trial today.

Valen Galilean, Whedon Boones... and Zoe Sanson!
