Chapter 8 The road has no end, and neither does Xu!

The monks in this world cannot be entirely blamed. It is because the conditions in this world are too superior. Compared with the ordinary world, it is too easy to obtain power. And the fact that power can be obtained so easily also makes the vast majority of monks not pursue power.

The reason behind this is that as long as you follow the steps and follow the path opened by your predecessors, you will become stronger. What else do you want to think about?

Moreover, the top experts in the world are too strong, and the role models they set have such a profound influence. Even if there are latecomers who want to take another path, they cannot even reach the realm of their predecessors, and naturally they will have the mentality of "I can't even reach it."

When you are at the height of your predecessors, how can you question the path that your predecessors are taking? You should just keep practicing honestly." Such thoughts.

And those who can reach the heights of their predecessors have reached the end of the road and will soon see the other side of success (the fairyland). At this time, tell them that there is actually another way to go, and they don’t have to stay on this road.

Fight to the death and ask them to change paths?

Unless you put a living example in front of them and prove it with facts, in this world, no one has ever walked the road of cognition, and there are no facts to prove it, and you still have people change the path, just to see if they call you big-eared.
p>

Another reason is that although I have never seen anyone become an immortal, and no one has ever actually entered the fairyland, there are fairy weapons in the world, and the existence of the fairyland can indeed be felt. Both the fairyware and the fairyland are there.

Show one thing to the monks in this world - immortality is not false!

This is incredible. Immortals are not false. It not only gives hope to the monks in this world, but also gives them confidence, proving the correctness of the path they are taking now. As long as they practice hard, it is possible to achieve the ultimate goal of immortality.

And since the road is right, why do you want to find other roads? Isn’t there something wrong with your brain?

Just like a country has done well in thermonuclear fusion, and now you tell me that the unknown cold fusion is more promising, do you want to abandon the technology that has been studied until it is about to succeed and start over?

I'm afraid most people won't be willing, and the same is true for the monks in this world. Their path has become closer to immortality, and they can all see the fruits of success. Why don't they continue to follow this path and dig a road with an uncertain future?
The monks are like a group of travelers looking for water in the desert. They have seen an oasis ahead, which is full of attractive fruit trees. As long as they can reach it, they can quench their thirst. Although the route is bumpy, the goal is there.

It’s so clear, how could it be possible to give up this oasis and reconsider looking for unknown water sources?

Even if there is a water source right under their feet and they can dig it out with just a few digs, it is still impossible. Compared with unknown risks, a stable and within sight target is more reliable.

Lao Tzu and Sakyamuni were astonished by what Xu Qian said. Being able to practice at their level, the four of them would naturally not be ignorant. They were just limited by what they knew in the past and the inertia of thinking they had developed over a long period of time.

, I have never thought of these things before.

After listening to what Xu Qian said, after thinking about it, I felt that what he said is indeed feasible. I couldn't help but realize that the way to live forever is not only to practice to the extreme and enter the immortal realm, but also to live forever in this world.<

/p>

A group of earth monks also heard Xu Qian's words. Many monks who had been exposed to modern science were very surprised. Some of the things this man talked about were not exactly the science of mortals, but they were just more profound than mortals.

This person seems to be interested in the things of mortals. Could it be that this person is following the path of a mortal?

It shouldn't be possible. Mortals have only been on the road for more than a hundred years. How can they compare with their monks?

Lao Tzu and Huang Di are also thinking about this issue.

If this person really takes this path, then the path he follows is completely different from theirs, and it is another system, but is this path really feasible?

Lao Tzu asked: "Is it possible that fellow Taoists are in this Tao?"

Xu Qian nodded and said with a smile: "This path can be walked by everyone, including Taoist Lao Tzu, Taoist Sakyamuni, Huangdi Taoist, Shen Nong, and all living beings in the world. This does not contradict cultivation. It's just that

Compared with boring and hard training, it requires more observation, more learning, and more cognition."

"This is the way of cognition. It is believed that everything in the world can be known. If it cannot be known, it is just because the knowledge has not yet arrived. If you don't know today, it does not mean that you cannot know tomorrow. Even if you cannot know tomorrow, it does not mean that you cannot know the day after tomorrow. The day after tomorrow will not be known.

..."

After hearing these words, the four of them instantly understood what Xu Qian meant, and also understood the difference between Xu Qian's way and their way.

After looking at the four people, Xu Qian knew that they didn't fully understand, so he smiled and said: "What you are cultivating is 'Tao', and what I am cultivating is 'Principle'. It should be said that I am seeking 'Principle'."<

/p>

The four people suddenly became interested, and Sakyamuni said: "May I ask the donor, what is the difference between the two?"

Xu Qian said: "With all due respect, in Xu's eyes, the 'Tao' you practice is not the real Tao, or it is just a part of the real Tao, some appearances, not its roots. With the realm of several Taoist friends, you should know something

Something..."

The four of them were curious about what was going on, so they heard Xu Qian say: "In your understanding and knowledge, 'Tao' can be modified and affected, right?"

What's the problem with this? Is it something that shouldn't be taken for granted?

Tao can be influenced and modified, which is basic common sense in their realm.

For example, the way of the great emperor can affect the entire universe and suppress other ways. Therefore, when there is a great emperor in the world, it is impossible for other people to realize the way.

Without waiting for the four of them to think deeply, Xu Qian smiled and said: "Have any of my Taoist friends ever thought about a question? If Tao can be easily modified and affected, is it still the real Tao?"

As soon as this question came out, the four of them were stunned. They were not surprised at all. It was just that they had never thought about this question before. Now that they heard this question, it seemed... it did make sense.

"What is Tao?"

Xu Qian continued: "Tao is the rules, the law, the principle of the composition of all things, the order in which time and space are established, whether the heaven and the earth are opened or not, whether all spirits exist or not, they are all there. It has no thoughts of its own, and it is

Being emotionless means that ‘the world is unkind and treats all things as stupid dogs’.”

I didn't expect that this man would suddenly say a sentence from his "Tao Te Ching", but he probably understood what Xu Qian meant.

"Tao is always the same and does not change because of people or things. It is both the original principle and the ultimate principle of all things."

The other three people also understood what Xu Qian meant. There was only one key word - Dao Heng, the Dao will last forever and remain unchanged from ancient times.

"Therefore, the 'Tao' that you have cultivated can change according to people and events. Xu thinks it is not the real Tao. Your 'Tao' is still changing, which means that the root of it has not been found yet."

Shen Nong said: "I already understand what fellow Taoist means. It can be said by fellow Taoist that the 'Tao' we practice can be affected and changed, but the root of it has not been found yet. Then the 'Tao' you seek, fellow Taoist, will not change."

Is it already the foundation of Tao?"

Xu Qian shook his head and smiled: "Of course not. I have never felt that the 'Tao' I have observed and perceived is the real Tao, but I will continue to observe and recognize it until I discover its root."

"There is no limit to the sea of Tao. Xu is just a seeker in the sea of Tao who is looking for the true way. How can he dare to say that he has found the true way? I just said that I am seeking 'reason', which means that Xu wants to seek the real way."

Reason'."

After listening to these words, the four of them understood the way Xu Qian practiced better and couldn't help but feel in awe. Although this person said that the "way" they practiced was not the real way, he was not belittling them to promote himself.

Rather, he pointed out the shortcomings of their spiritual path. Didn't this person himself admit that the "Tao" he observed and perceived may not be the real Tao?

But this was a discussion about Tao. How could the four of them be so convinced? Moreover, this involved a big problem that they did not want to admit: that is, if the "Tao" they practiced was not the real Tao, then what had happened to them all these years?

What kind of thing are you repairing?

Huang Di, who didn't talk much, said: "According to Taoist friends, Tao has existed since ancient times and is eternal and unchanged. It does not change with the times or events. But Tao must have an origin. At that origin, Tao should not exist.

Right? Dare you ask my friend how to explain this?"

This question is quite wonderful, just like in modern people's understanding, the universe originated from a big bang. Tens of billions of years ago, there was an infinitely small volume, infinite density, infinitely high temperature, and infinite space-time curvature.

The point is called a singularity. It was the explosion at this singularity that gave birth to the current universe. However, the Big Bang of the singularity explains how the universe was born, so where did the singularity come from?

We can continue to assume that the singularity was created by an unknown god, but the question remains the same, where did this unknown god come from? One after another, the matryoshka dolls can continue indefinitely.

The same can be said for Huang Di's question. You say that the true Tao has existed forever and is eternal. So where is its origin? There must be an origin, right?

The four people and a group of earth monks all looked at Xu Qian. This was related to the path they practiced, because if Xu Qian's "heretical theories" were spread, it would definitely shake the hearts of many monks and doubt their own path.
In order not to let my Taoist conscience waver, it is better that the heresy proposed by this person be refuted!

But they heard an unexpected answer: "I don't know!"

Xu Qian said these four words very simply, without any hesitation. He smiled and said: "Xu just said that the Tao is infinite, and Xu is just a seeker in the sea of Tao. Maybe today he knows

There is still Tao outside Tao, there are people outside Tao, and there are things outside people."

"But the Tao is infinite, and Xu's desire to seek the Tao is also infinite. If there is a Tao outside the Tao, there are people outside the Tao, and there are things outside people, it is just a long and long search. The Tao has no end, and neither does Xu!"

When some earth monks heard Xu Qian's answer, they were a little disapproving. This guy didn't directly answer the question raised by Huang Di at all. He was obviously at a disadvantage, but he still spoke harshly.

But the four people of Laozi have different perceptions. This one has already answered, and it is a very beautiful answer, "There is no end to the Tao, and there is no end to Xu!" Yes, if the Tao has an origin, then study its origin.

Go, if there is an origin beyond the origin, then study it further...

If the Tao has no limit, so does my desire to seek the Tao!

The four of them had great respect for Xu Qian, and Lao Tzu sighed: "I admire the thoughts of fellow Taoists!"

Sakyamuni said: "My fellow Taoist has unblocked Kunlun and done something difficult for us. I believe that my fellow Taoist has gone very far on the path he sought. I would like to ask you a few words."

Yes, if this person talks about the way he practices and the methods of immortality, then this person should have already realized it, right?

Not to mention anything else, as long as it is confirmed that this person has achieved immortality without practicing like them, then releasing him will definitely be a major event that shakes the entire universe. The Forbidden City Supreme Being will be unable to help but be born, and the history of cultivation will be divided into two pages.
Xu Qian understood what Sakyamuni meant, and he just wanted to see the power of the world's most powerful quasi-emperor, so he smiled and said: "Yes!"

In a flash of thought, Xu Qian followed Sakyamuni to a deserted star field. There were no living creatures living here, and the place was spacious, which was just right for beings like them to start a war.

In order to prevent the battle from being noticed by others, Laozi, Huangdi, and Shennong teamed up to set up formations in the star field to cover up the energy.

Seeing these five people leaving, a group of Earth cultivators were quite sorry. It was definitely an unimaginable competition, but they had no chance to watch it.

In the starry sky, Xu Qian and Sakyamuni are separated in a scattered meteorite belt, with massive meteorites floating around.

Sakyamuni put his hands together and said "Amitabha!", the fierce Buddha light burst out, shining on the star field, the chanting of Buddha's voice sounded, golden lotus emerged from the ground, and a huge Buddha rose, with kind eyebrows and kind eyes, standing in the sea of stars.

Clap it with one palm.

That giant palm covers the sky and the earth, and the entire starry sky is encompassed by it. Under this palm, there is no escape or avoidance.

Xu Qian stood on the spot and calmly looked at the giant palm of the Buddha. An unusually bright light erupted from his body and turned into a human-shaped sun. This was indeed the case. Fusion reactions and annihilation reactions were going on in his body, darkly.

Reaction.

Raising his right arm, he stretched it forward, and the endless light and heat merged into a giant sword.

In front of this giant sword, Xu Qian's figure was worse than an ant, but the sword was held in his hand.

Just like an ant wielding a giant sword to kill a giant elephant, the blazing giant sword fell on the Buddha's giant palm. Sakyamuni suddenly felt a special power colliding with his giant palm. In an instant, he realized that it was the power of the sun.

He has sensed power many times while traveling in the universe.

It's just that the power on the giant sword at this moment was much more terrifying than what he felt. The giant sword was still oscillating and changing the frequency when attacking. Then Sakyamuni saw that his Buddha's giant palm was cut off.

.

After cutting off the giant palm, the sword was still extending towards the starry sky, towards Sakyamuni, but Sakyamuni saw that the sword gradually dimmed as it extended, and did not extend in front of him.

This made him very confused, but this was an opportunity. Sakyamuni decisively launched another attack, and the Buddha Kingdom in his palm unfolded silently, unknowingly...

No, although that person was shrouded in the Palm Buddha Kingdom, he couldn't sense its specific location. He clearly saw it standing there, within the Palm Buddha Kingdom, but it just didn't appear in his perception.

Sakyamuni used a kind of pupil technique, but he still couldn't detect it. Although he was in it, it seemed to be just a shadow, which was very strange.

Since you can't feel it, then don't feel it. The Buddha's light is surging, and the golden Dao patterns are densely packed in the void. The patterns and principles are intertwined, and they hit the figure.

But the fluctuations of the attack subsided, and Sakyamuni saw the figure standing there unscathed. The surging Buddha light and the violent quasi-emperor pattern did not have the slightest impact on it.

At this moment, Sakyamuni felt an alarm in his mind that some kind of attack was about to come, but once he deduced it, he could not deduce where the attack would come from or what form it would take.

Suddenly, Sakyamuni felt a stinging pain in the center of his eyebrows. He looked intently, and at some point, Xu Qian stood in front of him and pointed a finger right on his eyebrows.

He will feel a stinging sensation, it is the force of his fingers that penetrates the skin.

But how did this person do it?

Although what is here is just a ray of his incarnation, it is also an incarnation of the peak quasi-emperor. It is rough-skinned and thick-bodied, and its senses are extraordinary. Ordinary quasi-emperors may not be able to do anything about it. Now they are so close and their defenses have been broken.
p>

It is actually a relationship between spatial position and spatial location. Xu Qian modified his spatial location so that he could reach the location of Sakyamuni, and he would naturally be close to him.

In a sense, it was Sakyamuni himself who came to Xu Qian, rather than Xu Qian attacking him.

Sakyamuni had never seen such a method before, so of course he didn't know how to defend himself. However, he was calm and admitted defeat, saying: "My fellow Taoist has a high level, but the poor monk lost!"
