Chapter 104: Spell Mudra

The scriptures in Lingyin Temple are not hidden.

Host Rusong is an open-minded person, and he will not refuse anyone who comes to ask for a review. Wang Liangyu can only be regarded as one of these people.

Wang Liangyu didn't know, but he was very grateful to Rusong. After bidding farewell to Rusong, he followed a young monk into the Sutra Pavilion of Lingyin Temple.

The Sutra Pavilion is in the second courtyard of Lingyin Temple, in the northwest corner.

Wang Liangyu couldn't wait to get into the Sutra Pavilion, hoping to see the secrets of Buddhism, such as the secret mantra taught by Bodhidharma to the ancient Xingyi Quan, "Maha Prajna Paramita".

However, Wang Liangyu stayed in the Sutra Pavilion for two days and two nights and looked through the books in the Sutra Pavilion. However, they were all various Buddhist scriptures and articles explaining Buddhist principles. None of them were about martial arts, and there were no so-called secrets.

Mantra Mudra.

Wang Liangyu was puzzled and ran to ask Rusong. It wasn't that Rusong was hiding something intentionally, but he just suspected that Rusong was trying to flirt with him again.

People in Buddhism like to play tricks the most. They don’t explain anything clearly. They have to say something that confuses people, and then let people guess and understand.

How abominable!

Rusong laughed loudly, pointed at Wang Liangyu and said: "Donor, what you want is all in the sutra!"

Wang Liangyu thought about the "Nine Yang Manual".

As we all know, the Nine Suns Sutra is hidden in the gaps between the four Sanskrit volumes of the Lankavatara Sutra!

Therefore, Wang Liangyu spent another two days and two nights looking through all the scriptures.

But, still found nothing.

Wang Liangyu had no choice but to look for Rusong again.

Rusong looked at Wang Liangyu, chuckled, and said: "I have been in this Sutra Pavilion for more than 20 years. I don't know how many people have come and gone, but there are only a few people who have truly learned the Dharma. Do you know why?"<

/p>

Wang Liangyu shook his head.

"The first one was a man of culture, well versed in both Chinese and Western studies. Seeing the decline of the world, and what he had learned was of no use to his family or country, he thought of relying on his supernatural power to read through the Tripitaka in this Tibetan Buddhist Pavilion.

He understood the mantra mudra, but he learned Buddhism in order to gain magic power and lost the original intention of Buddhism, which will lead to a worrying future."

"Elder, is there really magic power in this world?" Wang Liangyu frowned when he heard this, with a hint of surprise, and couldn't help but think of Uncle Jiu.

When he was passing through Jinling, Wang Liangyu had intended to divert to Maoshan to confirm whether Uncle Jiu really existed.

But something unexpected happened. Wang Liangyu did not stay in Jinling and ran away overnight.

Listening to Wang Liangyu's question, Rusong laughed lightly and asked: "Magic power is the original power of Buddhist monks, just like the true energy of a warrior. Isn't true energy the magic power of a warrior?"

That being said, that’s true!

Wang Liangyu nodded blankly, agreeing with Ru Song's explanation.

Seeing this, Rusong continued talking.

"The other student was a student who also read the Tripitaka. He had the problem of coughing up blood, but after reading the Tripitaka of 600 sutras and 800 secrets, he no longer coughed up blood! He

He is a person with Buddhist connections and could inherit my mantle, but unfortunately, he doesn’t look down on me and would rather be a poor student than a distinguished host!”

Wang Liangyu was surprised when he heard this. He was an ambitious person: "What happened next? What happened to him now?"

"He read the Buddhist Tripitaka, then turned around to study the Taoist Tripitaka. He entered Taoism from Buddhism, and went against the trend of from Taoism to Buddhism for thousands of years." Rusong turned to look at Wang Liangyu and said with a smile, "Now, he

He writes martial arts novels!"

Wang Liangyu managed to survive without being broken. A talented man who cultivated both Buddhism and Taoism went to write martial arts novels?!

"What's his name?" Wang Liangyu asked through gritted teeth.

"Sima Chunxia!"

Wang Liangyu was startled when he heard this. He tilted his head and thought for a long time, not knowing who it was.

In fact, among the intellectuals of this era, Wang Liangyu only knew the people mentioned in the textbooks, plus the Huan Zhu Louzhu, and others, and knew very little about them.

Moreover, in Wang Liangyu's memory, the only martial arts novel writers were Jin Guliang and Wenhuang, and none of them were familiar with them.

However, with the name, Wang Liangyu is sure to find him!

In a flash of thought, Wang Liangyu came back to his senses and thought of his purpose of looking for Rusong. He looked at Rusong in surprise and thought to himself: "Are you trying to make a move again? Okay, tell me who these two people are.

What do you mean?"

After racking his brains for a long time, Wang Liangyu couldn't figure it out, so he asked directly: "Elder, please explain clearly!"

"There is a saying in Confucianism that I find very reasonable. After reading the book a hundred times, its meaning becomes apparent."

Wang Liangyu was stunned, thinking of the deeds of the two people told by Ru Song, in which they all had a similar sentence, "Read the Tripitaka thoroughly."

Obviously, what Rusong means is that if you want to understand the mantra mudra, you have to study the Buddhist scriptures carefully.

Such is the truth as Ru Song said, "It's all in the scriptures."

It's a simple truth, but for Wang Liangyu, it's really difficult to do it.

First thing, time!

It is impossible for Wang Liangyu to spend several years in Lingyin Temple studying Lao Shizi's Buddhist scriptures.

Most of the Buddhist scriptures are so difficult and obscure that Wang Liangyu sometimes cannot understand them, let alone read them in depth.

The second point is time!

There is not much time left for Wang Liangyu. Wang Liangyu also hopes to draw nourishment from Buddhism and contribute to martial arts practice. If it takes a few years, all the little devils will break into the house, and by then it will be too late.

The third point is still time!

There is a time limit for traveling through time and space. Wang Liangyu himself doesn’t know when to leave. Spending several years on Buddhist scriptures is a waste of time and energy, which goes against Wang Liangyu’s original intention.

After thinking about it for a long time, Wang Liangyu looked at Rusong and asked in a low voice: "Elder, is there any quick way to achieve it?" He paused and said, "To be honest with you, elder, I don't have time to slowly study Buddhism in the Sutra Pavilion.

Scripture!"

"If possible, I hope the elder can tell me the mantra mudra directly."

Rusong was not angry when he heard this. He just looked down at Wang Liangyu and began to persuade him with a heavy face: "Don't you know that a small loss brings a big loss? The mantras and fingerprints are secondary, and the true meaning of the sutra is the foundation of Buddhism." After a pause, he added.

He said, "The Buddha's heart is not sincere. Even if this mantra mudra is passed on to the donor, the donor may not be able to play a real role!"

"The elder has misunderstood. My ambition is not in Buddhism!" Wang Liangyu shook his head and explained seriously, "I came to Lingyin Temple to ask for Buddhist mantra mudra. The purpose is to find the secret method of body training in the Buddhist mantra mudra, just like what Bodhidharma taught.

The secret mantra of 'Maha Prajna Paramita' is passed down so that it can be integrated into martial arts practice, that's all!"

Rusong sighed, a little disappointed: "The donor has wisdom. Whether he prays to Buddha, asks questions, or practices martial arts, he will receive destiny. But I am just wishful thinking!"

Wang Liangyu was extremely embarrassed when he heard this, "If you pray to Buddha, ask questions, and practice martial arts, you will get your destiny." What destiny can he have? If he could choose, he would just follow the plan and become an immortal. Why bother to learn martial arts so hard!
It’s not just running around and busy every day, thinking about this and that, and always thinking about your short lifespan. If this is destiny, don’t forget it!

Rusong didn't know what was going on in Wang Liangyu's heart, so he didn't press any further: "I didn't learn the mantras and mudras, but the monks in the temple studied Buddhist scriptures all year round and gained a lot. The donor can go and learn from the monks in the temple."

Following Rusong's words, Wang Liangyu stayed at Lingyin Temple and pestered the monks to practice mantras and mudra every day.

As always, Wang Liangyu cannot learn, or in other words, learning is in vain.

Wang Liangyu learned to perform mudras and memorized all the mantras.

It's a pity that none of the dozens of spell handprints are useful. It's more like a flower display, even more useless than a martial arts flower display.
