Chapter 34 A strange bar

Daisy walked along and found that this bar was full of women. Are all foreign bars like this? She felt dizzy and felt a little strange. How could a person as rigid and polite as the old doctor come to such a place?<

/p>

I carefully checked the bar layout and it was similar to what I saw in the information, but the decorations seemed a little different.

I walked to the bar and ordered a glass of whiskey, taking advantage of the noisy environment to ease the awkward atmosphere, and at the same time looked around from the corner of my eye.

Hill casually ordered a drink and opened his mouth to say something, but the sound here was too loud and he couldn't hear anything.

In desperation, she could only raise her voice.

"Let's investigate separately. I'll go find someone to inquire. You can research whether the bar has a secret door or a secret room."

After saying that, she quickly ran to the other side without waiting for Daisy to respond.

This eldest sister finally left! Daisy breathed a sigh of relief when she saw her leaving, and at the same time, she lowered her head and started to focus on her work.

Hill left, Daisy took out her tablet, and saw a woman with heavy makeup and a wide-open door walking in front of her. She said something to her in a frivolous tone.

Daisy couldn't understand a word of Hungarian. Smelling the pungent perfume on the other person's body, she waved her hand impatiently.

The woman left in frustration.

Cursing a lunatic, Daisy hacked into the bar computer, but found nothing. She could only look for clues on the Budapest Police Department's external network.

Halfway through, she sent away two more women who were about to chat. She was confused. Are all Hungarian people so hospitable?

As the sound of "tap tap" high-heeled shoes sounded, Hill walked back again.

"The staff said that the bar was booked tonight and it seemed like there was going to be a party." Hill said the information she had found out. Her hair was a little messy and she looked a little embarrassed. She must have met someone "hospitable".

Hungarian people.

"Then there will probably be no news about Dr. Pim. Let's go back first?"

"Continue the mission, maybe we can find regular customers." Hill put herself in the leadership position. Daisy felt that she was taking it for granted, but considering that she had no experience, she didn't refute.

There are more and more people in the bar, and she can no longer carry out the invasion. She relies on a small tablet to play invasion in public. Maybe those top experts can do it, but she does not have the strength.

It's okay to put away the tablet and just sit there stupidly. The two of them were just casual acquaintances before and didn't have much in-depth conversations.

In order to keep the silence at bay, Daisy could only chat with Hill every now and then.

She is still very curious about this legendary woman who took over S.H.I.E.L.D. several times in the original time and space, and what kind of experience made her stand out among many outstanding agents.

The bar entered the preparation stage at this time, the music became soothing, and they finally no longer had to talk to their ears. They could chat while drinking. Daisy had strengthened her body to support her drinking capacity, and Hill had received rigorous training to drink.

I am very proud to come.

"I never had a chance to ask. You used to be the chief's adjutant and were very busy at work, right?" She leaned on her elbows and asked curiously as she leaned on the bar.

"The work is very busy, and the director's requirements are very strict. In fact... I am not an adjutant now. I am no different from you." Hill has always been concerned about this matter. She really can't figure out what she did wrong.

After all, she was kicked away and sent back to school? Did she make a big mistake unintentionally? She didn’t know the problem at all!

Daisy was also shocked that what she said was not the adjutant's remarks. It was inconsistent with her memory, and it was seriously inconsistent.

Maria Hill is Nick Fury's most important assistant. If this changes, then she won't be sure what the future will look like.

Her face looked a little heavy, and Hill mistakenly thought that Daisy was feeling sorry for herself, so she pretended to smile carefree.

"Without those responsibilities, simply performing tasks is fine."

The two did not have in-depth discussions on work issues. Hill had his own confidentiality policy, and Daisy was simply not interested. She could talk about the origins of the five gods in the universe for half an hour, but she was not very interested in such bullshit secret agent missions.<

/p>

After chatting about work, naturally we talked about family members.

Happy people are all similar, and unhappy people are all unhappy in their own way.

Daisy's childhood is simply an inspirational story of resistance to violence and racial discrimination. If you want to live in an orphanage, you need not only brains and strength, but also a perseverance. This was done well by the predecessor.

Hill was born in Chicago. The temperature on the day she was born was below minus 44 degrees. Her mother froze to death in the hospital. Her father had always disliked her. No matter how outstanding Hill was in her childhood, she never received anything.

A compliment makes father and daughter feel like strangers.

"Actually, the life of an orphan like you is not bad, at least there are no such burdens."

"I also envy you for having parents, unlike me, who is alone." Daisy said insincerely to cater to her.

The two had a drink and poured out their bitterness to each other, which was also a way to build a closer relationship.

In fact, not many people with happy families are willing to be agents these days. They all have their own troubles, but they just don’t mention them at ordinary times.

"I started training when I was sixteen, and I basically didn't have a normal life. Every time I passed through New York in a hurry, I didn't pay attention to ordinary people's lives." Hill's tone was full of envy for ordinary people.

Daisy smiled bitterly: "Everyone has his own troubles. Ordinary people also envy you for your unique skills. Let me tell you, two months ago, I met a perverted old woman who wanted to gouge out my eyes.

!"

Such a shocking topic instantly attracted Hill, and she was a little surprised: "What happened next? Is this why you came to SHIELD?"

Daisy shook her head: "Yes or no, that perverted old woman escaped. I exposed her to the New York Police Department. As for whether she will take revenge, I really don't know. She did come to SHIELD with the intention of taking refuge."<
