Chapter 73 A wonderful but terrible breakfast

Gotham City, Las Vegas District, Garden Community.

After Rob finished his morning exercise, he wiped the sweat from his head with a wet wipe. Doing hundreds of push-ups in succession was not an easy task for him.

However, in order to maintain a strong body, the necessary efforts are worth it.

He sat bored at the dining table, not very interested: "Milk and bread again today?"

Vanessa is good at everything, but her eating skills may need to be improved urgently.

However, Robert sometimes feels that he is a little unsatisfied. A month ago, he was a convenience store front desk munching chicken drumsticks and slurping instant noodles every day.

Now, he drinks milk three meals a day until he is full, eats steak until he vomits, and Vanessa even asks him to eat some weird tonics.

I had already been mentally prepared to a certain extent and was resigned to my fate.

But when Vanessa presented a piece of fruit pie, Robert suspected that there was something wrong with his eyes, and felt a trace of remorse for being dissatisfied with his current abundant life... He actually had hallucinations about it.

However, Vanessa's voice still brought him back to reality: "Fruit pie, why, don't you try it?"

Robert came to his senses. He took a spoon and took a bite of the strawberry and put it in his mouth. The cold taste made him feel happy.

Finally, I no longer need to drink milk. The taste of drinking milk twice in the morning is not ordinary.

Rob couldn't help but breathed a sigh of relief while enjoying the food.

The two spent a leisurely and wonderful breakfast time.

There was also laughter and laughter at the same time.

A ray of sunlight in the early morning in the villa shines from the window and shines on the dining table, dazzling and warm.

"What? You two got tired of being together after not seeing each other for a few days? It seems that I underestimated you, my good niece. I originally thought that the blood of the Odessa family would be completely resistant to young and strong men.

..."

Captain Marvel Carol suddenly appeared next to Robert, looking at the fruit pie on the table.

"Do I need to prepare one for you, ma'am?" Robert chewed the strawberry without changing his expression. He seemed not surprised by the appearance of Captain Marvel.

From the time he agreed to Vanessa's return to this villa, he had already thought about the scene where he met Captain Marvel today, and had considered a plan to deal with the Skrulls who came to cause trouble.

Captain Marvel stared silently, as if he wanted to gain insight into Robert's true thoughts from the look on his face.

"Aunt, what are you doing?!" Vanessa is not too familiar with this elusive Aunt Carol, and has already adapted to her special ability that can appear anytime and anywhere.

Otherwise, Vanessa would be so frightened that she fainted instantly when Robert showed off his extraordinary abilities or when Venom and the Hulk fought.

Knowing that there are people like Carol in the world, Vanessa is not too shocked by the fact that Robert has extraordinary abilities.

"Oh, niece Vanessa, I have something to talk to your little boyfriend... Don't look like that, I won't be interested in your little boyfriend... Come on, let's talk to my aunt.

Robert quickly swallowed the strawberry on the spoon into his mouth, and was reluctantly pulled to the courtyard by Carol.

The two stood opposite each other.

Carol hugged her chest and wore a tight-fitting turquoise sportswear, which accentuated her bulging front and back.

Robert couldn't help but look at it a few more times. Captain Marvel was indeed like a strawberry in his mouth, as ripe as a strawberry.

But Robert's first goal right now is to find the dragon bone and leave Gotham.

I don’t want to be associated with guys like Captain Marvel anymore.

He asked coldly: "Ms. Captain Marvel, what may I do for you?"

A tone that rejects people thousands of miles away.

But the information revealed made Carol suspicious: "Do you know my identity?"

Robert shrugged: "You seem to have underestimated your popularity. Just about a hundred years ago, you visited the earth. After that, your name has spread all over the world. There are still people on the other side of the ocean.

Praising your name."

Captain Marvel shook his head, his face full of disbelief: "I have never heard anyone say this, and those guys from SHIELD have never mentioned anything like this."

"Just because it's not mentioned doesn't mean it didn't happen. Besides, one of the S.H.I.E.L.D. guys you work with may have just woken up not long ago, and he probably doesn't know the situation on Earth better than you do." Robert smiled half-heartedly.

"How do you know?! No, there is no such person as you mentioned!" Carol was startled at first, and then her face became filled with anger. She approached Robert step by step, trying to force him to reveal his secrets through intimidation.

My own secret.

"Boy Robert, you are not an ordinary person, are you? Those fanatical fools from the Hand? An undercover agent who came to Earth from the depths of the starry sky? Or an accomplice of the Skrulls?! Tell me!"

I said Captain Marvel’s imagination is too big.

You thought I was a member of the Hand before, so I admit it.

But consider me a Skrull accomplice...

As an Earth citizen who had torn apart a Skrull with his hands, Robert strongly protested.

"Skrulls? I have never heard of such a nation on earth. If you say that I am a Frank or an Englishman, I will not be able to respond directly to you with a negative answer? But if you make up a random nation,

Do you think this is a bit childish to just put it on my head? Ms. Carroll?"

Robert was not afraid of Carol's captivating gaze at all, but stared back unblinkingly.

The atmosphere suddenly became weird. The courtyard of the garden community was so quiet that even the chirping of birds could be heard clearly, which indeed played an excellent supporting role in the weirdness between the two.

"Cough...cough...I know." Carol seemed to feel that the face in front of her was getting closer to her, so she laughed dryly and stepped back to widen the distance between her and Robert.

Carol looked Robert up and down: "Forget it, I don't think you are an accomplice of those barbarians. I hope you can treat Vanessa well...Although I am not a competent aunt, a hundred years ago

When I came to Earth, it was Vanessa's grandmother who helped me..."

"Even though she is no longer here, my commitment to her remains unchanged. We are still good sisters as always. As for my sisters' descendants and nieces, if someone does harm to them under my nose..."

"You know the consequences. It won't be better than the fate of those Skrulls... Although I don't know where you got the power from, and I don't know how you know SHIELD... and my identity...

But I must let you know one thing. If you should not participate in something, you should not participate in it from the beginning. I hope you will do your job as a citizen of Gotham City."

Robert listened to Captain Marvel's tirade expressionlessly. He once thought that Carol had reached menopause, otherwise it would be difficult to explain why she had such a desire to express herself.

Finally, Carol issued her own concluding statement: "Okay, little Robert, let's go in and continue to enjoy the fruit pie that Vanessa's niece made quietly! I haven't had strawberry-flavored fruit pie for a long time!

As a result, there was an aunt with disheveled hair on the dining table, and a mouth that kept making noises with endless questions.

After Robert finished his breakfast, he came to a conclusion: Fruit pie is delicious, but don’t some people who shouldn’t appear in the first place need not appear in the first place?
