Chapter 578: Arrested

A slight vibration interrupted the reminiscing between Kuroki Jin and Nomono Shun in the dark room. The two of them walked in unison, immediately picked up their guns and ran upwards.

Bat squatted awkwardly in a corner of the ruins, casually throwing away the corpse in his hand, which was covered with debris from the bomb explosion.

"Shino Shun!" Bat gritted his teeth when he saw a familiar figure in his blurred vision.

He would never have thought that Shiye Shun would betray him.

This person who he dug out, promised benefits to, and even went to great lengths to help him escape from that organization would betray him so easily.

"We can't leave him alive," Shino Shun said calmly.

When he spoke, Kuroki's bullet had already been fired.

The bat was waiting for this opportunity. He took two bullets and rolled to the back of the cover.

Since the house had been blown to pieces, Kuroki fired a row of bullets at the broken wall, directly blowing it open.

Along with the muffled sound behind the wall were the sounds of messy footsteps. Bat knew that if he didn't run, he would be dead.

"You stay." Kuroki Jin said to Shino Shun, and after saying that, he raised his feet and chased after him, leaving Shino Shun to look at the dilapidated house and shake his head.

"Let's take care of things before the police come." He sighed helplessly.

In the night, two black shadows passed quickly.

All Bat has done in the past has been stealing, and hiding his whereabouts is his specialty.

But it couldn't stop him from being seriously injured, and Kuroki Jin was also familiar with the surrounding streets, so the distance between the two became closer and closer.

Until the bat ran into a dead end in a panic.

Bat's back was against the wall, and he could see his mouth under the mask opening and closing, breathing heavily, his right hand covering his left shoulder, and bright red blood soaking his palm - this was the masterpiece of Kuroki Jin just now.

Kuroki Ren stood at the entrance of the alley, his back to the light, holding a gun, and his expression could not be seen clearly.

"The winner is the king and the loser is the bandit, shoot."

There was a cruel look in the bat's eyes, which made Kuroki Ren clearly know that if he was not killed today, he would continue to take revenge.

But he did not rush to shoot, but said slowly: "Choose this as your cemetery because of the explosives buried here?"

There was some provocation in Bat's eyes, and he said proudly: "Yes, so you shoot."

If you shoot and detonate explosives, Kuroki will be killed here, but his position can give him a glimmer of hope.

Unfortunately, Kuroki Jin saw through it.

The dagger reflected the moonlight and showed a cold glow. Kuroki Ren stood three meters away from the bat, waiting quietly.

He is very patient and can wait until the bats have lost too much blood and can no longer hold on before harvesting.

Bat took two deep breaths, his face cold and sinister, but actually he sighed.

He couldn't find a single flaw that could allow him to escape from Kuroki Ren's hands.

It is true that he could have taken the initiative to detonate the bomb to create an opportunity for himself, but Kuroki Jin, who was already prepared, may not have been waiting for this. If he had taken action first, he would have been at a disadvantage.

But if he doesn't take action, the longer time passes, the slimmer his chances of survival will be.

The bat dwarfed and flew toward Kuroki Ren, who was not far ahead.

The dagger scraped across his cheek, and the mask blew off with the wind. He no longer cared about these things. The bat was pressed against Kuroki Ren's side arm, blocking his attack with one hand, and the other hand had already reached his waist.

On the gun.

What he was good at was never physical skills, but stealing.

The more despicable, the more beautiful.

"Uh-" Bat, who had already grasped the handle of the gun, groaned in his throat, and his right hand that blocked the attack was broken by the grapple, but this did not affect him in the slightest from pulling out the pistol.

"Go to hell!" Bat roared in his heart, loading the gun, and the sound of jamming the next second shocked him.

He was kicked away, his body hit the wall hard, and the pistol slid down to Kuroki Ren's feet.

"I'm so sorry." Kuroki Jin smiled amiably and raised the pistol with his foot. "I just shot this gun out of bullets."

What a liar.

Bat lowered his eyes. His left shoulder was still bleeding, and his right arm was broken. He looked very embarrassed.

Who on earth is spreading the rumor that Kuroki Jin has no other abilities besides flattering his boss!

Through the moonlight, Kuroki Ren could see Bat's face clearly. He said suddenly and without surprise: "Eishi Shiiki."

"Sure enough," Bat has figured it out now, "Shiye Shun is the bait you put out to catch my fish."

Working in a non-intelligence department of an organization but doing intelligence work, specializing in selling some very small information and trends, isn't this exactly the bait prepared for people like him who can't touch the organization's door?

I don’t blame him for biting him, I just blame him for not knowing people well and falling for his trick.

Thinking about it, this guy must have been suspicious since he learned that Kuroki Jin was Potter and then deliberately approached him.

"Ahem -" Bat coughed up a mouthful of blood, and he let the blood flow from the corner of his mouth, "This time it is really the winner and the loser..."

Severe blood loss caused his consciousness to be somewhat blurred, and Kuroki Ren's expression showed something he didn't understand.

"Are you related to the FBI?" Kuroki Jin was not in a hurry to take action. He still remembered that Shuichi Akai's current identity was Hideshi Shiki's roommate.

"You said Akai...it doesn't matter, it's just...the relationship between the police and the thief."

When he was still unskilled, he was captured by Shuichi Akai, who happened to be on the same flight, but the latter did not arrest him, but let him go.

Kuroki's pistol was loaded, the silencer was on the muzzle, and it was pointed at the bat's head.

If Eiji Shiiki dies, it will be detrimental to Akai's current hidden identity, so it would be fine if the person who died does not know who he is.

The moonlight shone into the alley at just this moment, stretching the silhouettes of the two people very long.

Kuroki Ren was about to lower his index finger when he caught a glimpse of Bat's broken arm - the fair skin and clear scars exposed under the torn clothes.

It looked like a self-inflicted scar, extending from the wrist to the arm. I don't know where it extends.

As if he remembered something, Kuroki subconsciously went forward and tore open the clothes of the broken arm, revealing the scar completely before his eyes.

There was a sound of wind in his ear, and Kuroki Ren rolled away from the bat's attack, and opened his mouth and said: "Wait a minute -"

The bat doesn't care about this. He doesn't know why Kuroki is convulsed. Instead of killing him, he approaches him and creates an opportunity for him. He only knows that this opportunity is rare, and if he misses it, he will not get another chance tonight.

"Go to hell!" The bat detonated the bomb at this moment.

The fuse of the bomb was in the wall, but there were not many bombs in the wall, only enough to blow up the wall. He buried the remaining bombs on both sides of the wall. As the sky collapsed and the earth exploded, countless shrapnel scattered in the dust.

.

Kuroki Jin was closer to the bomb than the bat. He didn't even have time to say a second sentence and rolled outside to avoid the bomb's range.

He caught the gunshot under the silencer despite the explosion. Kuroki stopped his forward movement abruptly and rolled over to avoid the bullet.

This is the benefit of being tortured by Gin all day long. His reflexes are top-notch.

The bat once again spat at the guy who said Kuroki Ren was worthless and ran away without looking back.
