Chapter 5: Ylang-ylang on the other side

This is a musty and decadent smell, which seems to be emanating from the dilapidated small temple where I finally fell.

"Have you never left?" Sun Yuan was a little confused.

After a while, I slowly tried to open my eyes.

It was daytime now, and what came into view was indeed the broken roof, and he was indeed still in the same place. Not far away, there was a small fire, burning slowly.

Looking at his body, Sun Yuan found that there was actually a thin quilt covering him, and there seemed to be a thick layer of straw under his body, so he didn't feel too cold.

After another splitting headache, Sun Yuan sobered up a lot and felt a little relieved.

After all, his life was saved. His father expected that one day he would have such a day, and actually left him a life-extending elixir.

If it had not been discovered in time, it would have become a cold corpse and would never open its eyes again.

A feeling of guilt surged into his heart, and for a moment, Sun Yuan felt a mixture of emotions.

Just as Sun Yuan was immersed in emotion, suddenly, the sound of a dog barking from afar interrupted his thoughts.

Only then did he realize that his whole body was stiff and he could not move for a while. It seemed that he had been lying here for a long time and his blood was somewhat poor.

As long as you spend a little time, you will be able to regain your ability to move quickly, but the current situation is very unfavorable. The person outside the door is unknown, and you can only let it be at your mercy.

In desperation, Sun Yuan had no choice but to fall asleep, spy on the movement secretly, and prepare to adapt accordingly.

After a while, I heard a gasping sound. This sound was not made by a human, but rather like the dog I heard earlier, which had run into the ruined temple. It was not far away.

He was spinning around but didn't even get close to himself.

A burst of brisk footsteps followed.

"Dahuang, be quiet. There are patients sleeping here, go out. Go, go."

A strange and clear female voice came to Sun Yuan's ears, and he immediately understood that he had been rescued by a strange woman.

Out of curiosity, Sun Yuan opened his eyelids slightly and looked at it secretly.

I saw that the person who came was facing away from me at the moment. He was not tall. He had a thick ponytail, a plaid shirt that was close to his body, and a pair of gray trousers.

She seemed to be a village girl, Sun Yuan thought in his mind, but did not speak out. Instead, he closed his eyelids completely and continued to wait for the woman's subsequent actions.

After experiencing this betrayal and abandonment, Sun Yuan no longer easily trusts outsiders.

After waiting for a while, there seemed to be the sound of something being put on the ground, and there was another noise of tumbling and fiddling. Then he felt that the woman was approaching him. Sun Yuan's heart was lifted.<

With a breath, the thin quilt on my body was lifted off.

Sun Yuan was startled and sat up instinctively. According to the direction he felt, a big hand suddenly reached out and pinched a slender neck.

The scream stopped abruptly as soon as it was halfway through.

Before he could exert his strength, it was as if thousands of knives were pierced into his body in an instant. Under the severe pain of the wound's collapse, a low roar that did not sound like a human voice came from Sun Yuan's throat, and his whole body went limp and collapsed again.

Go on.

When I opened my eyes, I saw that the woman had taken several steps back. She was covering her throat with both hands and coughing repeatedly.

The originally delicate face turned pale. His eyes revealed unconcealable horror.

Sun Yuan had already seen that this woman didn't have the slightest effort in her body. He looked down at his body with great effort, and saw that it was covered with cloth, and there was a faint smell of medicine. Only then did he understand that he had desperately tried to die that day.

He broke out of the enemy's ambush and suffered countless sword wounds on his body.

The woman just opened the quilt, probably preparing to change her bandage and reapply the wound medicine.

Thinking of changing the medicine, Sun Yuan's heart skipped a beat, and his face couldn't help but heat up. If anyone looked at it at this time, they would find that Sun Yuan's face was red and white at this moment, which was extremely exciting.

Hearing the woman's coughing stop, Sun Yuan raised his eyes and was about to say something. Unexpectedly, he met the woman's gaze, and the two suddenly looked at each other, and there was an indescribable feeling in the air.

The quietness.

A blush rose from the woman's neck, and soon her face turned red.

Stomping her feet suddenly, the woman turned around and rushed out of the ruined temple.

Sun Yuan's face turned into a helpless and bitter smile. Although he had not yet had time to ask anything, he understood in his heart what it meant to let a woman from an ordinary family change dressings for a strange man who had sword wounds all over his body.

This is completely different from the promiscuous woman I knew who frequently visited brothels in the past. If she had been taking care of her during the long period of losing consciousness, it would have taken a lot of courage.

The thought of this seemed to touch a soft place in Sun Yuan's heart, and he sighed softly.

After a meal, they saw that the woman just now left and came back, and behind her appeared a wolf-dog that stared eagerly and bared its teeth fiercely.

The woman seemed to have regained her composure, but her breathing was still a little heavy. She smoothed her messy hair on her forehead and approached timidly. The wolf-dog behind her also followed closely.

Sun Yuan smiled awkwardly at the woman, and then closed his eyes. He also completely released his fists to show that he was unprepared.

A pair of dexterous hands began to explore Sun Yuan's body skillfully, removing the original old bandages one by one.

There was a "bang", and a pungent smell penetrated directly into his nostrils, causing Sun Yuan to frown.

"Be patient, it will hurt a little." A clear female voice sounded in my ears.

"Yeah." Sun Yuan snorted slightly, indicating that he understood.

A cold liquid began to be applied to Sun Yuan's body. After a few breaths, the coolness disappeared instantly, and countless small needles seemed to be pricking the place where it had been applied.

Needless to say, Sun Yuan knew that his face must have looked uglier than ever at this moment. His silver teeth clenched as he gritted his teeth, trying not to scream.

The sweat on his forehead kept pouring out. Sun Yuan regretted that he had been too big, and even suspected that the woman was deliberately punishing him for his previous violent behavior. But at this moment, he was already a piece of fish on the knife and could only be slaughtered by her.

.

After one stick of incense, the pain all over my body gradually subsided, and instead I felt an indescribable sense of relief.

"May I ask what you call the girl?" Sun Yuan spat out a sentence feebly.

"Yilan." The female voice replied simply.
