Chapter 271: Crescent Bay, Quan Cong, who unifies the world, cannot be seen

Quanxu thought for a while and said: "I guess there is no such thing. If there is, then how could such heroes as the First Emperor and Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty die unwillingly?"

These dotted islands are mainly composed of feldspathic quartzite, sericite phyllite and slate.

He flipped through the knowledge about the Changdao Islands that he had made up for last night in his mind and said: "The landform of the islands here is dominated by low mountains and hills. There are more than 40 mountains with an altitude of more than 100 meters. The highest point, Gaoshan Island, is 60 meters high.

It is more than two feet high; the lowest point, Dongzui Shidao, is more than two feet high.

Many islands are arranged in a north-south direction, running through the southern part of the Bohai Strait, occupying three-fifths of the sea surface of the strait, and are divided into three island groups: northern, middle and southern island groups, bounded by Beitunji Waterway and Changshan Waterway.

The terrain of the South Island Group is gentle, with many sandy and rocky beaches; the middle and North Island Groups have high and steep terrain, with many rocky shores."

Quan Cong nodded and said: "Duan'er has a good memory, but our army does not need to land here. I won't be able to use these for the time being. However, it is necessary for a general who leads troops to fight to be familiar with the terrain of the battlefield.

."

Quan Cong looked at the flags fluttering in the wind and the huge sails on the watchtower ship and said: "The southeast wind usually blows in Changdao in summer, which is somewhat beneficial to the navigation of our military fleet."

Changdao has mostly southwesterly and northwesterly winds in spring and autumn, southeasterly winds prevail in summer, and northwesterly winds dominate in winter.

After Wu Jun's fleet sailed near Changdao for about a quarter of an hour, a bay about 600 feet long and shaped like a half moon appeared in the field of vision of Quan Cong and the others on the deck of the building. It was really beautiful.

Quan Ji said with a smile: "This must be the wonder of Beichang Island, Yue Ban Bay, which my Soochow delegation always praised when they passed by it several times before."

Quan Duan said: "This Crescent Bay, also known as Half Moon Bay, is located at the northernmost tip of Beichangshan Island in Huang County. It naturally forms a crescent beach about 600 feet long. It is named because the bay is shaped like a half moon.

It is backed by green mountains and green fields, surrounded by blue sea and clear waves. The long beach is covered with silver-white pebbles and is embedded in the green mountains and clear waters. It is like a crescent moon in the deep night sky. It is an excellent scenery of Changdao!"

Quan Cong looked at the "wow-wow-wow" in the Crescent Bay and the gravel beach that was shimmering silvery in the sun and said: "When the army returns to the court, if I have free time, I will definitely go for a walk. It's just that

I wonder when this vast northern land will become the land of our country!"

Crescent Beach is a rare gravel beach in the country. Beach cobblestones are caused by the uplift of the earth's crust, causing rocks from nearby mountains to fall off. The stones are placed on the curved beach and gradually become rounded into cobblestones after being washed and polished by the endless waves.

Because the quartzite is mixed with iron, manganese, zinc and other impurities, it shows various colors, which is why Quan Cong and others can see the colorful pebbles today.

Stepping into Crescent Bay, every step is bejeweled and clanging, as if you are entering the Moon Palace where silver light shines and jade is mottled.

Touching the pearls and stones with your hands, each one is exquisite and well-behaved, and each one is crystal clear.

There are many natural patterns on the rocks: some ancient pines, brilliant maple leaves, fluffy birds, climbing macaques, a cloud, a flower... They are vivid and lifelike,

It touches the heartstrings and stirs people's emotions.

There are many bays in the world, but there is only one thousand-meter-long cobblestone beach with "as white as jade and as crystal clear as amber". It is really like a world of jeweled cobblestones.

The clear water embraced by Crescent Bay is as blue as agate and as clear as a mirror. It is tempting to jump in and take the sea into your arms.

When the wind is high and the waves are rough, the bay is full of emeralds and silver snow is floating; when the sky is clear, it is peaceful, beautiful and charming. For thousands of years, the sea has polished the shore with thousands of pearls with its beautiful soul and beautiful hands.

Quan Duan, Quan Xu, and Quan Ji all clasped their fists and said, "We will go up there with father for a walk."

Quanji then said: "Don't worry, father. If father fails to fulfill your majesty's ambition to unify the north, my son, eldest brother, and second brother will also help your majesty to complete the great cause of unification. If not, I can only rely on your grandchildren."

."

Quan Cong said with emotion: "Hey, if you can't help your majesty do it, then our country is probably in danger of subjugation. It's just a pity that your majesty and I fought bloody battles to create this Jiangdong foundation. If it is possible, I

How I wish to borrow a few more decades from heaven, and I also hope that this Long Island is really the three legendary sacred mountains!"

The three Quanxu brothers all clasped their fists and said in relief, "Father will live a long life."

Quan Cong waved his hand and said: "Haha, since ancient times, few people can truly live a hundred years. I think I can't compare to Peng Zu who lived for more than 800 years. I will definitely not see the day when the world is unified again."

People of the Pengzu, Xia and Shang dynasties, legendary health-preservers, lived for more than 800 years. However, the age at that time was calculated according to the sixty-year old age, and one year was equivalent to 60 days today, so it was almost 140 years old.

Peng Zu was also one of the pioneers of Taoism in the pre-Qin Dynasty. His surname was Xin and his given name was Keng. His first name was Peng Keng, and he was the third son of Lu Zhong.

This is why Peng Zu belongs to Pengcheng. Zhuangzi writes in Cheng Xuan Ying Shu: "Yao granted Pengcheng a title, and his ways were similar to those of his ancestors, so he was called Peng Zu.

"Chu Ci Tianwen": "Peng Keng pours pheasants, how can the emperor enjoy it? If his life is long, how long can his husband be?" Wang Yi notes: "Peng Keng is also Peng Zu."

Hong Xingzu's supplementary annotation quoted from "The Legend of Immortals": "Pengzu's surname was Xin and his name was Keng... Yao granted him the title of Pengcheng."

The old "Biography of Immortals" written by Liu Xiang of Han Dynasty listed Peng Zu in the immortal world and called him "Shuo Immortal".

Peng Zu was a native of Dapeng Clan (now Tongshan, Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province). "Tongzhi Clan Brief" records: "Peng Zu founded the country in Peng, and his descendants took the country as their surname. Peng is also the surname."

The "Pengcheng County" article in the "Taiping Huanyu Ji" of the early Song Dynasty quoted "Pengmen Ji" as saying: Peng Zu, a wise minister of Yin Dynasty, was the great-great-grandson of Zhuanxu. By the end of the Yin Dynasty, his life span was 767 years old. The tomb still exists today, so the city was named Dapeng.

Yan.

The first ancestor of the Dapeng Kingdom, Pengzu Zhuokeng, was originally from the Yao and Shun eras. Because he often interacted with Wu Xian, the god of Shennong, Wu Peng, the miracle doctor of the Yellow Emperor, Peng Boshou of Xia, Peng Bokao of Shang, Peng Xian, the wise doctor of Shang, and Shi Laozi under Zhou Zhu

Mixed together, there are legends such as "eight hundred years, eternal life", "not the end of life, not death", etc.

Kong Guangsen, a man of the Qing Dynasty, commented on the sentence "Peng Zu's wisdom was not better than that of Yao and Shun, and his life span was eight hundred years" in Liezi Li Ming Chapter: "Peng Zu is the ancestor of the Peng surname... Dapeng was involved in the Yu and Xia Dynasties.

Shang was the uncle and was destroyed by Wu Ding. Therefore, it is said that Peng Zu was eight hundred years old, which means that Peng Guo died in eight hundred years. This is not true that Zhuo is immortal."

Wei Zhao, a historian of the Han Dynasty, said in the annotation of "Guoyu·Zhengyu": "Peng Zu, Dapeng." It can be seen that Peng Zushou eight hundred years refers to the existence of the Dapeng family for more than 800 years. It is also possible that Peng Zu is really alive.

Maybe he is eight hundred years old, but because of the passage of time, all this has been sealed in the past, and no one really knows.

Quan Cong said: "After passing Beichang Island, it will take no more than ten days to sail to Wuhu Island, right?"
