Chapter 286: Regaining a new life, the story of Xiangru Wenjun

The weather is hot, but there are still many people buying and selling things walking around on the street outside the window. A vendor is selling: "Fresh fish, fresh river fish, it's not fresh and tastes good. It doesn't cost any money."

There were also some selling popular snacks at the time, dove carts, push carts, bamboo horses and other toys. They were also constantly selling, attracting people who came and went with children.

Shu brocade, Shu cloth, Shu salt, lacquerware and gold and silver products are generally sold in shops facing the street. Not only is the supply and sale booming in Chengdu, it is even exported to Gao Xunli and the Western Regions.

When Liu Bei entered Shu, commodity trading was more active than in the Central Plains under the rule of Wei. However, now Liu Bei's fortune is slightly less than before, but it is still prosperous after all.

Everyone ate some more fruits, and then waited for the food and wine. After the waiter put down the food and wine, he filled the wine glasses on each table with clear and refreshing wine, and then respectfully left.

Wang Chen picked up the wine, took a sip and said, "This wine is sweet, elegant, and contains many aromas. The name of Wenjun Liquor is truly well-deserved!"

Then he held the wine cup with both hands and said, "Everyone, raise your wine glasses and drink together to celebrate your new life in Dahan today!"

After Chen Guangqin finished drinking Jiujue Zhongwenjun Liquor in one gulp, he praised it and said: "This wine has a comfortable and mellow taste. It is really a rare good wine. It has a taste that the wine of Wei State does not have."

The unique taste of Wenjun wine is "sweet and elegant, containing various aromas" - "sweet" comes from the reasonable combination of aroma components produced by natural fermentation; "moist" is neither throat-piercing, not spicy, and has a mellow taste; "elegant" " means that Wenjun wine is very comfortable in the mouth and gives the drinker an elegant and refreshing feeling after drinking; "Zhongxiang" means that Wenjun wine not only integrates the traditional five flavors of liquor, but also contains rich layers of floral and fruity aromas, which are natural Harmonious and long-lasting fragrance.

Wang Chen said with a smile: "This is because Wenjun wine is only produced in Linqiong, one of the Sichuan wine producing areas with a thousand-year brewing tradition, in the beautiful waters of Lingshan Mountain. The "Tongtian Spring" water used to brew Wenjun wine is pure and sweet. Such a taste is unique to this family!”

Wang Chen muttered: "The Wu sky is far away, and colorful clouds are floating; there is fermented rice in the south of Sichuan, and the fragrance is overflowing everywhere; stewing it in the stove moistens my heart; it makes me think leisurely, and write a poem."

Chen Guangqin smiled and said: "Chu Dao is such a wonderful person. Drinking Wenjun's wine should be paired with Sima Xiangru's Qing Miao. After all, Wenjun Xiangru was a rare story from the time of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty and even the Western Han Dynasty." ah."

Sima Xiangru's original name was Sima Changqing, but he changed his name because he admired Lin Xiangru, the Prime Minister during the Warring States Period.

Sima Xiangru was born in Chengdu, Shu County, and lived in Pengzhou (today's Peng'an, Sichuan). "When he was a boy, he liked to study and practice swordsmanship. When he was in his twenties, he exchanged money for an official position and became a regular attendant of Emperor Jing of the Han Dynasty. But these It is not what he likes, so he sighs that he has not met a close friend.

When Liang Xiaowang Liu Wu came to court, Sima Xiangru was able to make friends with Zou Yang, Meicheng, Zhuang Ji and other Cifu family.

Later, he resigned due to illness and went to Liang to work with these like-minded scribes. It was at this time that Xiangru wrote the famous "Zixu Fu" for the king of Liang.

"Zixu Fu" was written when Sima Xiangru was a guest of King Xiao of Liang Dynasty, during the reign of Emperor Jing of the Han Dynasty. Its theme was based on the Taoist thought of this period in which Xu Jing was the king, but it was not appreciated by Emperor Jing because of the

Emperor Jing was not good at writing poems.

After Liu Wu's death, he resigned because of his lack of ambition. Sima Xiangru left Liangdi and returned to Linqiong, Sichuan (today's Qionglai City), living in poverty.

Linqiong Wang Ji made good friends with Xiangru and said to him: "Changqing, you have been away from home for a long time and are seeking an official position. It is not satisfactory. You can come and see me." So Xiangru lived in Duting, Linqiong.

Next, Wang Ji visited Xiangru every day. Xiangru excused himself from illness, and Wang Ji showed even more respect.

When Zhuo Wangsun, a wealthy man from Linqiong, learned that "the (county) magistrate has a distinguished guest", he held a banquet to entertain the guests and make friends. Xiangru deliberately claimed that he was ill and could not go, so Wang Ji greeted him personally, so Xiangru had no choice but to go to the banquet.

Zhuo Wangsun had a divorced daughter named Wenhou, also known as Wenjun.

Because he had admired Xiangru's literary talents for a long time, he peeped at Xiangru from outside the screen. Sima Xiangru pretended not to know, and when he was invited to play the piano, he took the opportunity to play "Phoenix Seeking the Phoenix" to convey his love. Because Sima Xiangru

I have also heard of Zhuo Wenjun’s name for a long time.

Wenjun heard the sound of Sima Xiangru's piano and secretly looked at him through the crack in the door. He couldn't help being attracted by his style, grace and talent, and he also felt admiration for him.

After the banquet, Xiangru conveyed his feelings to Wenjun through Wenjun's maid. So Wenjun escaped from the house late at night and eloped with Xiangru to Chengdu.

Zhuo Wangsun was furious, claiming that his daughter had violated ethics, but he could not bear to hurt her, but he would not even give his daughter a copper plate.

Sima Xiangru's family was extremely poor and had almost nothing except four walls.

Zhuo Wenjun lived in Chengdu for some time and said to Sima Xiangru: "Actually, as long as you come with me to Linqiong and borrow some money from my brothers of the same race, we can manage to maintain our lives."

Sima Xiangru listened to her words and went to Linqiong with her. They sold their carriages and horses to make capital and opened a hotel.

Zhuo Wenjun worked as a donkey selling wine and taking charge of the store; Sima Xiangru wore an apron and washed cups, plates and utensils among the clerks. Only then did the legend "Wenjun work as a donkey, Xiangru washes pottery and utensils".

After Zhuo Wangsun heard the news, he was deeply ashamed and felt ashamed to see others, so he stayed at the door all day.

His brothers and elders all advised him: "You only have one son and two daughters, and you are not short of money. Now Wenjun has committed himself to Sima Xiangru, and Sima Xiangru is not willing to go out to seek an official position for the time being. Although his family is poor,

But he is a talented person after all; Wenjun finally has something to rely on for his whole life. Moreover, he is also a distinguished guest of our county magistrate, how can you embarrass him so much?"

Zhuo Wangsun had no choice but to give Wenjun a hundred servants and millions of copper coins, and also gave her the clothes, quilt and property she had received when she got married.

So Zhuo Wenjun and Sima Xiangru both returned to Chengdu, bought land and houses, and lived a prosperous life.

When Emperor Jing died and Emperor Liu Che of the Han Dynasty came to the throne, Sima Xiangru's fate took a turn for the better.

Liu Che liked "Zixu Fu" very much when he saw it. He thought it was an ancient work and lamented that he could not be a contemporary of the author.

At that time, Yang Deyi, the dog supervisor who served Liu Che (in charge of the emperor's hunting dogs), was from Shu. He said to Liu Che: "Your Majesty, this poem was written by Sima Xiangru, a fellow slave of this slave."

Liu Che was surprised and immediately summoned Sima Xiangru to the capital. Sima Xiangru expressed to Emperor Wu: "Your Majesty, "Zixu Fu" only writes about the hunting of princes and kings, and it is nothing. Please allow me to write another article for you about the emperor.

"Hunting Fu", this is "Shanglin Fu" which is connected with "Zixu Fu" in content. Not only can the content be connected, but it is also more literary.

This poem uses "Zixu", "Mr. Wu You" and "Die Shigong" as fictitious characters, set it up as a question and answer, and writes it freely. It aims to maintain the unity of the country and oppose the imperial luxury. It praises the incomparable image of the unified empire and also

Satirical admonishment of the rulers created a basic theme of the Han Dynasty Fu.

As soon as this poem came out, Sima Xiangru was conferred the title of Lang by Liu Che, and the good story between Sima Xiangru and Zhuo Wenjun spread further, and Wenjun wine became even more famous, and it has been passed down to this day.
