Volume 1 Preface to the Young Woman Who Eats Shit

I give you the sorrow of a man who has been looking at the lonely moon for a long time - Borges

On October 3, 2008, a young woman, 30 years old, took the train home. When she arrived at the station, it was around 4 o'clock in the morning.

It was a county town, and there were only a few passengers getting off the bus.

The young woman walked into a remote and uninhabited alley. There were no street lights and the surroundings were dark. When walking alone at night, she always felt that there were people following behind her. The young woman looked back and saw that the alley was pitch black, there was no wind, the leaves were still, and it was quiet.

People are trembling with fear.

The young woman suddenly felt an urgent need to urinate. There was a dilapidated residential area next to the alley, so she walked in to find a public toilet.

The residential area was strangely quiet, almost silent. Only the sound of her own footsteps could be heard. The potholes on the ground were covered with slag, making a creaking sound when walking on it. In the darkness, the young woman felt that there was someone behind her.

I followed, but I couldn't see anyone when I turned around.

She couldn't hold it any longer, so when she saw a public toilet, she quickly walked in.

It was pitch dark in the toilet, and the young woman boldly walked into a cubicle with the help of the fluorescent light from her mobile phone.

The toilet cubicle is made of plywood and is very crude, and the door cannot be closed.

The young woman had just squatted down when footsteps came from outside. A pair of feet stepped on the slag. They got closer and closer, and a person walked in.

There was a gap underneath the toilet cubicle. She used the fluorescent light of her mobile phone to take a look and could vaguely see a pair of shoes, which did not look like shoes worn by a woman. In other words, the person standing outside might be a man.

There was only a wooden door that was ajar between her and the mysterious man.

The young woman held her breath, not daring to breathe. She was nervous and frightened. At this time, she actually peed, and a stream of water came out. After urinating, the woman found that the feet outside were missing.

The man seemed to be gone.

The young woman didn't dare to go out, thinking that the mysterious person was waiting for her outside the toilet. She didn't even dare to make a phone call. She texted her friends in fear, and her hands were shaking so much.

The footsteps outside the door sounded again, very softly, as someone approached quietly.

The young woman wanted to call the police, but because she was nervous, her hand shook and the phone fell into the drain hole of the toilet.

It was dark in the toilet without any light. The young woman was so frightened that she didn't move. She listened carefully, but the footsteps disappeared again.

The young woman thought that she might as well just squat in the toilet and wait until dawn before going out.

Gradually, it was getting brighter, and the young woman wanted to get up and leave. She looked up inadvertently, and couldn't help breaking out in a cold sweat. She was almost scared out of her mind. Just above her head, there was a man's face, and a man was lying in the toilet stall.

Above, eyes looked directly at her.

The mysterious man kept staring at her in the toilet!
