Chapter 33 This book involves a dispute over interests. Die Cuiyue examines Li Ren

What you think is endorsement is actually not just endorsement.

Before Jia Lan traveled through time, he watched a popular program: "The World Endorsement Conference", which tells the story of a group of people gathering around to recite the book, and whoever recites the book the most is the King of Recitations this season.

Putting aside the rest, this show is actually quite good.

One of the issues was that a young man from a literary major competed for the title of King of Return with a child.

Jia Lan just sneered at it, you are a dimensional reduction attack, if you can't win, just quit if you go back.

Because what you recite is not the same dimension as what your child recites!

This is the case with the imperial examination. What you think is the Five Classics is actually like this: Taking "Preface to the Pavilion of Tengwang" as an example, regardless of punctuation, everyone has learned it, and it is like this when memorizing it.

If you memorize one article a day, then after thirty days, you can memorize more than 20,000 words in the Shangshu.

Isn't it very simple?

However, the true endorsement, the original text is just an appetizer.

You have to memorize the annotations written by saints and Confucian scholars of all dynasties. It is not enough to memorize them alone. You have to learn to flexibly apply them to write essays and know how to use the past to describe the present.

The first chapter of "The Book of Documents" is "Yao Dian": It is said that if you read the ancient emperor Yao, you should say "Fang Xun, Qin, Ming, Wen, Thought, An, and You, Congratulations, and you will be placed in the four forms, and you will be placed in the upper and lower parts.

Just talk about the first six words and finish memorizing them in one second.

But the subsequent annotations, starting from Sima Qian, the great scholars Ma Rong, Zheng Kangcheng and others ended one after another, citing the Spring and Autumn Period, the Book of Songs, Records of the Grand Historian, the Book of Han, the Three Kingdoms, and the Taiping Yulan, and more than a dozen classics.

You have to memorize all these scriptures before you can really enter the door in this scripture.

This creates a very realistic problem, that is, the allocation of teachers for teaching this sutra is very unbalanced.

Academics cannot always exist in the air without detachment from the real society.

The imperial examination system makes classics interestingly combined with regional society, that is, it is quite common that scholars in a prefecture or county-level region will choose to choose the same classic as the classic in the imperial examination, such as the county specializing in the "Spring and Autumn Annals" and the county specializing in the "Book of Rites". This situation is called "regional specializing in classics".

Why do you have to do this at this level? It is because after the examiner’s questions are out of nowhere, he can only get more and more biased.

For example, the Four Books Questions, the examiner's list gives you a word.

"two"

2! This is the answer?!

But this question is not a problem. If you dare to go out and say it is beyond the outline, you will definitely fall into the pit.

This "two" means "two out of ten".

Duke Ai asked Youruo: "I am hungry and I am not able to use enough, so what is it like?"

Youruo replied, "Are you going to do it?"

He said, "Two, I am still not enough, how thorough is it?"

He replied: "Who is the king or the lack of the people? Who is the king or the lack of the people? Who is the king or the lack of the people?"

Duke Ai of Lu said that I would not be enough for 20% tax. If you say that the people are rich, you will naturally be rich. Even the people have no money. How could you have money?

There is only one "two" in the title, so this "two" is an independent sentence. In the entire Analects of Confucius, only the "two" in this section is independent, so answering other things is considered off topic.

All the questions are so paper-made, and those who are memorizing can only be written in the paper.

Therefore, if Jia Lan uses books as the foundation and can get the head of the court for the examination, it will inevitably touch other people's cheese, especially the huge group that uses poetry as the foundation.

So, no real academic dispute is true, after all, it is all about interests.

At the fifth day of the next day, before dawn, Jia Lan got up gently.

As a maid, Lingguan slept on the smoked bed in Jia Lantong's room. He heard that she was breathing for a long time and had a sweet sleep.

Jia Lan tiptoed to put on her clothes in the cubicle next to her and came to the yard. Qin Zhong and others had been waiting in the corridor in neat clothes. When they saw Jia Lan, they were about to pay their respects.

"Shh..." Jia Lan quickly made a gesture of silence. After thinking about it, he ordered Qin Shi to stay and look at the yard. After the exam, Jiao Da sent some people from Beizhuang.

After a simple breakfast, I walked to the Academy Intermediate Courtyard, and many scholars were gathered around me.

This monthly exam is not an ordinary monthly exam, but a quarterly exam directly set by Shuntian Xuezheng, which is directly related to the improvement of students' grades.

So the students all looked like they were facing great enemies.

From the central lecture hall, the ground at the gate was filled with desks. Only Shangshen could sit in the hall, and the rest needed to sit outside on the ground.

By the end of the Mao hour, all the students had already sat according to their original seats, and the mountain leader Li Xuan entered the venue and began to assign the test papers.

Jia Lan saw that the guest she saw in the mountain chief’s room yesterday was also allocating the test papers together.

[Could this person be the new teacher?]

Just as he was thinking, Jia Lan took the test paper and quickly removed the distracting thoughts and focused on reading the questions.

The title of the postscript is ten, the ink meaning is five, the five-character and eight-rhyme poem is one, and the eight-part essay is one.

This post and Mo Yi test the ability to recite dictation. The difference is that Mo Yi also tests the annotation of the scriptures, which is to test students' understanding of the classics in the classics.

The poems and essays were inherited from the prosperous Tang Dynasty, but their status in the imperial examinations has been declining. In some places, the poems and essays were not even hit, and the eight-part essays in the latter part were admitted in the opposite direction when they were well written.

The exam time lasts from morning to noon.

Jia Lan slowly grind the ink, thinking about the title of the poem. He knew that compared with the eight-legged essay, poetry and prose were his own shortcomings.

The head of the court examination was an honor and a spur for him. Especially when he was admitted to the seventh-rank official at the visiting banquet, he even made him look into the eyes of some people, so Feng Ziying made him be careful yesterday.

After thinking carefully for a long time, he slowly started writing. He first wrote the poem on the draft paper, then turned around and finished the previous title of the scriptures and ink meanings, then picked up the draft paper to continue to polish the poem, and then copied it on the paper.

The last question is the eight-legged essay, the title is "The Analects of Confucius": "How can you know that benevolence is beautiful, but if you choose not to be kind?"

Zheng Kangcheng's note: "The inner world is where the people live. Living in the benevolent is for beauty. Looking for living but not in the benevolent is for wisdom." Zhu Xi's note is similar to that, interpreting liberty as a place where they live. Although there are controversies in later generations, in the world of the Red Chamber, this is an official explanation. Candidates need to solve the question within this range, otherwise they will break the question.

Jia Lan thought for a long time before she started writing the first sentence: "If you do good, be careful about your habits, so you must choose your place where you live. Goodness is in my ears, so why can people harm it? And a gentleman must choose your place where you live, because he should be careful about your habits."

The beginning of a steady solution to the problem is explained, and then it explains that the environment has a great impact on the formation of a person's character. It also lists examples of Meng's mother moving three times to illustrate the importance of the environment.

Going further, use the view of contradiction theory to analyze the changes in external and internal factors.
