Prologue The Great Wilderness

It was late at night, pitch black, and the scenery was invisible. But the mountains were not quiet. Wild beasts roared, shaking the mountains and rivers, thousands of trees trembling, and leaves rustling and falling.

In the mountains and valleys, ferocious beasts run rampant, ancient relics appear, and all kinds of terrifying sounds come and go in the darkness, threatening to tear the world apart.

In the mountains, there is a soft light looming from a distance. Under the endless darkness of the night and among the mountains, it is like a candle flickering, ready to be extinguished at any time.

Gradually approaching, you can see clearly that there is half a huge dead tree. The trunk is more than ten meters in diameter and the whole body is charred black. Except for half of the main trunk, there is only one weak branch left, but it is exuding vitality. The branches and leaves are as crystal clear as green jade.

Carved into a piece, dots of soft light spread and enveloped a village.

To be precise, this is a lightning-struck tree. Many years ago, it was hit by lightning. The huge crown and vigorous vitality of the old willow tree were destroyed. Today, only a section of tree stump eight or nine meters high is left on the surface.

It's astonishing, and the only willow branch is like a divine chain of green clouds, filled with halo, covering and protecting the entire village, making this habitat hazy, like a fairyland, in this wilderness

It seems very mysterious.

Every household in the village is a stone house. In the dead of night, the place is peaceful and quiet, as if it is isolated from the darkness of the outside world and the roar of beasts.

"Woo..."

A strong wind blew by, and a huge dark cloud crossed the sky, covering the entire night sky and blocking the only stars. The mountains became even darker.

A ferocious bird call came from high in the sky, piercing through the cracked gold and stone, and actually originated from the dark cloud. If you look closely, it turned out to be an incredibly huge bird, covering the sky and the moon, and it was unknown how many miles long it was.

Passing by Stone Village, it looked down, its eyes like two blood moons, filled with fierceness. It stared at the old willow tree for a moment, and finally flew to the deepest part of the mountain range.

It was calm for a long time, until in the middle of the night, the earth began to tremble, and a vague figure came from a distance, as high as the mountains!

An inexplicable aura spread out, and the mountains and valleys were filled with deathly silence. All the ferocious birds and beasts were dormant, not daring to make a sound.

Closer, this is a humanoid creature, walking upright, astonishingly huge, as tall as a mountain, with no hair on its body, and its whole body is covered with shiny golden scales. Its face is very flat, with only one vertical eye, which opens and closes.

It was like a golden lightning flashing across, sharp and frightening. The whole body was like a sea of blood, like a god and demon!

It passed by here and took a look at the old willow tree. After stopping for a while, it seemed to be in a hurry and finally moved away quickly. Many peaks were shaken by its footsteps, and the mountains trembled violently.

At dawn, a centipede ten meters long, as thick as a bucket, and shining silver was winding its way through the mountains, as if it were cast from silver. Each segment was shiny and ferocious. It made a clanging sound as it crossed the rocks, and sparks flew. But in the end it

However, they avoided the stone village and did not invade. The black mist billowed wherever they passed, and all the beasts fled.

A weak wicker exuding a gleaming green glow swayed gently in the wind...
