Chapter 1140 Night Attack

The night was so cold that even though the Japanese sentries posted outside were wrapped in thick cotton coats, they were still shivering from the cold and wanted to put their hands into their sleeves.

It was already late at night, and the wilderness around the camp was completely quiet. The Japanese soldiers in the camp had been fighting intensively for a day, and they were exhausted and fell into a deep sleep, snoring one after another.

The Japanese soldiers were seizing the time to rest, because at dawn, they had to gather to launch an attack in the direction of Baoying.

Although they did not take Baoying's guerrillas seriously due to their strong troops and horses, the battle during the day was so brutal that the Japanese no longer dared to take it lightly, because if they were a little negligent, they might lose their lives.

There was a blazing bonfire burning in the Japs' camp, and some Japs soldiers on vigil set their rifles aside and talked quietly around the fire.

The Japanese who stayed vigil inside the camp were grilled by fire, but those outside the camp were not treated so well and could only cast envious glances from afar.

If the guerrillas had not relied on Jieshou Town to resist, they would not be sleeping in the wilderness now. They would have already lived in warm houses.

Thinking of the Jieshou Town that had been reduced to ruins, these Japanese sentries couldn't help cursing in their hearts. The guerrillas were really abominable.

"Nakamura-kun, the team leader has gone to sleep. Stop standing there. Come over and have a cigarette and take a rest."

Perhaps it was late at night because there were no officers to check the posts, and the two Japanese soldiers were a little slack. One of the Japanese soldiers walked to a tree, put his gun down against the tree, and sat down along the stone.

The other Japs hesitated a little, but after looking at the dark wilderness and the sleeping camp, he finally followed him to the tree, took a cigarette from the Japs' hand and lit it.

"Ono-kun, do you think the Chinese will come back again?"

Although he was lazy while standing guard, hiding under a tree in the lee and smoking, the Japanese soldier named Nakamura was still a little worried.

"Nakamura-kun, don't worry. The Chinese people have been frightened by us and are running for their lives in a hurry. How dare they come back to attack us." Another Japanese took a deep breath from his cigarette and said with a relaxed look.

"But the fighting power of the Chinese was too strong. The second team was beaten down to only a dozen people. We'd better be careful." Nakamura smoked a cigarette and couldn't help but stare into the darkness.

Guizi Ono patted Nakamura Guizi on the shoulder and said with a smile: "Nakamura-kun, I think you are too nervous. You need to relax."

"There are thousands of us this time. The Chinese are just a bunch of rabble. Tomorrow we can completely wipe out them, and then this area will be included in the jurisdiction of the Empire of Japan. By then you

I will be a hero of the empire." Ono said ambitiously.

"I hope so." Japanese Nakamura still had lingering fears about the battle during the day, and was not as confident as Ono.

"Hey, there are a lot of Chinese women in Baoying City. Let's keep our spirits up and relax..." Soon, Guizi Ono's eyes lit up and he brought the topic to women.

While the two little Japanese sentries were hiding under a tree, lazily smoking and talking quietly, several veterans from the reconnaissance platoon had quietly moved towards them.

"Ono-kun, is it too quiet around here?" Nakamura, the devil, has always been suspicious, and he always feels that he is not very at ease.

"It's night, so it's naturally very quiet. Don't be suspicious." Ono looked at the nervous Nakamura and said with a smile, "Don't be too nervous. Chinese people don't..."

Before Guizi Ono finished speaking, he saw that Guizi Nakamura's face across from him suddenly turned solid, and he stared behind him motionless, as if he had suddenly solidified.

"What's wrong?"

Seeing the abnormal reaction of the ghost Nakamura opposite him, the ghost Ono turned his head and looked behind him when he was asking questions.

"Puch!"

As soon as Japanese Ono turned his head, he suddenly saw a black shadow shrouding him, and then a sharp bayonet stabbed him directly in the neck.

"Well......"

Guizi Ono's face twisted due to the severe pain, he let out a low whimper, and a large amount of blood poured out of his mouth.

Seeing his companions being killed in front of his eyes, the Japanese Nakamura, who turned pale with fright, finally reacted, threw away the cigarette in his hand and went to grab the gun.

But before he could stand up, a pair of iron-like hands had already wrapped around his mouth. Immediately, he felt a pain in his heart, and the tip of a sharp knife penetrated his body and came out from in front of him.

"Woo..."

As the guerrilla reconnaissance veteran twisted hard, the bayonet piercing the Japanese's heart spun half a circle in the Japanese's body.

The devil Nakamura wanted to struggle, but he felt that the strength in his body was rapidly draining, and soon his vision went dark and he lost consciousness.

The veterans of the reconnaissance platoon easily dealt with the two Japanese sentries. They wiped their bloody bayonets on the Japanese uniforms, then made gestures and moved toward the other Japanese sentries.

"Pfft!"

"Pfft!"

The Japanese sentries did not expect that the guerrillas would really dare to kill them with a single shot. With sleepy eyes, they encountered a cheetah-like surprise attack and were quickly knocked down one by one.

The veterans of the reconnaissance platoon jumped into the Japs' sandbag machine gun bunkers. Before the Japs machine gunners could react, bayonets were already driven into their bodies.

These veterans were quick and ruthless in their attacks, and these unsuspecting Japanese were sent to see the Lord of Hell almost without a chance to resist.

As the surrounding Japanese sentries and roaming sentries were cleared one by one, the Japanese camp became undefended.

The veterans of the reconnaissance platoon who had finished clearing the Japanese sentry made a signal, and the brothers from the three infantry companies responsible for the attack rushed into the Japanese camp with shining bayonets.

The brothers trained together as a combat team on weekdays. After breaking into the Japanese camp, they immediately dispersed and rushed into the Japanese tent without any orders.

"Puch! Plop!"

After the brothers rushed into the Japanese tent, they stabbed their bayonets randomly at the sleeping Japanese soldiers, causing streams of blood to flow wildly.

"ah!"

The brothers struck fast and hard, and the bayonets brought a shower of blood, but some Japanese still screamed in agony.

"what happened?"

When the Japanese who were warming up around the fire in the center of the Japanese camp heard the screams, they all looked in the direction of the sound.

But it didn't matter if they didn't look at it. When they looked at it, they were startled. They saw countless black figures with bayonets pouncing in silently from outside the camp. The screams came from the tents on the edge of the camp.

"Baga, enemy attack!"

Seeing those murderous guerrilla officers and soldiers, these Japanese soldiers were shocked, grabbed their rifles, stood up, and began to scream.

"Hit me!"

Seeing that his whereabouts had been exposed, Yang Ling, who led the team into the Japanese camp, raised his gun and shot without hesitation.

"Bang bang bang bang..."

Yang Ling kept pulling the trigger of the shell gun in his hand, and all the twenty bullets in the magazine were fired at the Japanese.

"Puff!"

"ah!"

These Japs were faced with intensive bullet fire. They were pulling the bolt of their guns before they had a chance to fire a shot. They collapsed and fell. Some Japs fell into the fire. Sparks suddenly flew everywhere. Some Japs let out a killing sound.

Howl like a pig.
