0173 Another pair of eyes

Halloween is approaching, and the Gryffindor twins surprisingly led a wave of fresh air.

The former prankster trio disappeared. George and Fred would dive into the library every time they took a break, or hang out in the offices of professors in various subjects, frantically absorbing knowledge.

Their good friend Lee Jordan was very troubled by this - without the twins, the little black man was still caught three times by Filch in half a month even though he was protective.

Jordan has already begun to consider taking off all his clothes during his next night out.

It stands to reason that Mr. Filch should be relieved when the biggest mischievous ghost among Hogwarts students is gone.

It's a pity that fate gently touched the top of his head and pulled out a bunch of hair - there was something wrong with his beloved Mrs. Norris.

Usually they are always inseparable, and one person and one cat have an extraordinary tacit understanding. When those little wizards wandering at night hear the cat meowing, it is often no more than 10 seconds before they are caught.

Now, however, he sometimes cannot find his cat, which has never happened before.

"Meow~"

"Ah, my Mrs. Norris, where have you been?"

The kitten walked into Filch's office calmly, with a bag of dried fish in its mouth.

"This is?"

Filch watched Mrs. Norris jump up on the stool, tear open the package and start eating beautifully, and gave herself a quick pat on the back.

"Ah, it's my fault, I forgot that you had finished your snacks."

Every week, Filch would go to the kitchen to make dried fish for Mrs. Norris. His long-term companionship allowed him to measure and pinch the fish very accurately, which was exactly what the cat needed in a week.

Then he would be divided into small packages and placed in the bottom cupboard for Mrs. Norris to use.

However, when I brought the dried fish back after making it this week, I happened to meet Ani passing by with the cat in his arms. The two chatted for a few words, and when they parted, they gave half of the snacks to the cute Tom Meow.

In addition, the twins were acting so abnormally during this period that Filch wanted to follow them all the time to see what the two bad guys were planning, but he forgot about it for a moment.

I didn't remember until I saw the cat just now. I opened the cupboard and took a look. Sure enough, all the dried fish inside had been eaten.

"I'm sorry, Mrs. Norris, I'll do it for you right away."

Filch hurriedly put on his coat and ran out, going to the kitchen to make dried fish for his cat owner.

While walking on the road, he suddenly thought that, like himself, Mrs. Norris was not popular with the little wizard. Occasionally, bad guys would secretly throw snacks with spices in the corner, and they would always tip him off if they wanted revenge.

Cat.

So Mrs. Norris usually doesn’t eat food fed by others. Who gave those dried fishes?

Filch always felt that the appearance of those dried fish looked familiar.

It seems...

Hermione!

Lockhart stretched out his head to take a look, then furtively retracted his leaning body.

Why did Hermione come to Ani's office so late? And she saw clearly just now that no one opened the door for the girl. She used the key to unlock the door and went in.

A female student sneaks into a male professor's office after curfew...

Lockhart's eyes lit up. This was an incredible discovery, and there was much to write about.

If you can catch the painful feet of two people...

Hehe, I think Aini would be willing to use a diary as hush money for his own reputation!

Lockhart, who was already fascinated by the Horcrux, had long forgotten his plan to please Ani, thinking about what might happen inside, and smiled obscenely.

He lifted up his pants and touched them gently.

After stopping at the door for a while, there was no sound coming from inside. Lockhart guessed that the girl must have entered the bedroom, so he took out his wand and pointed it at the door lock.

"The Alaho Cave opens."

He can still use this skill of sliding doors and picking locks. Unfortunately, he has learned a lot of knowledge before, but due to his distorted mentality, it is buried deep in his memory and it is difficult to find it out.

For example, the astronomy professor once talked about soundproofing wards in a certain class, and the magic spells professor also said that in addition to adding an anti-Alajo Cave opening spell to the door, you can also add traps on it...

"Bang!"

"Boom!"

Just after casting the unlocking spell, there was an explosion on the door panel, and Lockhart was knocked out and slammed into the wall behind him.

Fortunately, thanks to the magic power, the wizard's physique is pretty good, otherwise this might have killed him.

A certain Defense Against the Dark Arts professor stood up, leaning against the wall, grinning as his back hurt.

Although his teeth are still shining, he definitely doesn’t want the current scene to be photographed and sent to the Daily Prophet.

Fortunately, Colin Creevey was not present. Lockhart was secretly grateful. He was also grateful that the room was still quiet, and he obviously did not hear the noise he made just now.

"Click~"

Lockhart heard the sound of the doorknob being turned and looked up. The little witch's face full of surprise appeared in front of him.

"Professor Lockhart, what's wrong with you?"

A trace of disdain flashed in the girl's eyes, that's it?

Just now, she could clearly see everything happening outside through the mirror behind the door. A girl who always respected knowledge and respected teachers could not accept that her professor was an ignorant person.

"Ah, haha, the wall is a little dirty, let me wipe it."

Lockhart froze in embarrassment. Why did the door open before he heard the footsteps? He quickly found an excuse and pretended to rub against the wall with his sleeves.

"Clean up."

The girl raised her wand and pointed at the wall, "Professor, don't you usually like to use magic?"

"Ah, this..."

Lockhart's mind was spinning rapidly, but he couldn't think of anything to say. After discovering that Ani hadn't shown up yet, he could only bet that he was not in the house, so he still left the castle and went to the Forbidden Forest, where he openly confessed to He

Min asked.

"That's not important, Miss Granger. Can you explain why you are here after curfew? A student stayed up in the middle of the night and sneaked into the professor's office. Hmm?"

The girl turned around and rolled her eyes, why? Of course it's for you!

Unfortunately, this sentence was not in the script, so Hermione had to smile against her will and invite Lockhart into the room.

"Professor, does your back feel uncomfortable? Come and sit in the room."

Lockhart also didn't want to be discovered by others. If he could hold Hermione, he might be able to get the diary that he cherished so much in another way. This operation was naturally invisible, so after the girl let the door open, he covered his waist and left.

Went in.

"Sorry, Professor Lockhart, I didn't prepare a drink."

The girl closed the door and walked over. In fact, she had Lin Lu prepared by Aini in her handbag, but she didn't want to drink it for the ignorant person in front of her.

"It doesn't matter, Miss Granger, I'm not here to chat, so tell me why you are here."

After the door was closed, Lockhart completely relaxed his mood. The best way to achieve his goal was to use his best means if the negotiation broke down. Lockhart, who felt he was in an invincible position, spoke much more casually.
Little did he know that there was not only one pair of eyes watching him in the room.
