Chapter 48 Gilderoy Lockhart

Compared with the original story where they had to steal Mr. Weasley's speed car to reach the school, this time Harry and Ron got on the train bound for Hogwarts normally and finally arrived at the school safely.

This was a happy event for everyone. Mr. Weasley kept his car, and the Whomping Willow no longer had to worry about being hit by a car flying from the sky while he was sleeping at night.

Therefore, he could happily enjoy breakfast with his two friends the next day. It must be said that the food at Hogwarts is actually quite good.

Under the ceiling that is enchanted to see the sky, you can see that on the long tables of the four colleges, there are bowls of porridge, plates of pickled fish, piles of bread slices, and plates of eggs and eggs.

Bacon.

After Rolf selected the food he needed, he sat down next to Hermione who was reading a book without any scruples. She spread out a copy of "Traveling with Vampires" on a milk jug, and then ate while reading.

Having breakfast.

"It's not good for your stomach or eyesight. Didn't your parents tell you?"

"They are dentists, not children's doctors."

"This is common sense in life, not professional medical knowledge."

"I think you are more suitable for the title of know-it-all than me. After all, whether it is wizard magic or Muggle science, you speak clearly and clearly."

"I'm just more eager to learn. As the saying goes, if you know a little bit about everything, your life will be more colorful."

"So what do you think of Professor Lockhart's adventures? I think he is really awesome! I have read almost all his books, and those experiences are really thrilling."

"Gilderoy Lockhart was a genius novelist and shampoo inventor, but he was never a great adventurer or a powerful wizard."

"How can you say that about our professor! His book says that he has experienced so many adventures, and those adventures don't look fake."

"Of course those adventures are real, but you need to be suspicious of whether Lockhart is the person involved. Anyway, you will be able to recognize his true nature soon."

In the end, the breakfast conversation between the two ended hurriedly with Hermione holding her book and heading to herbal medicine class, but Rolf could tell that she did not agree with his statement.

Just like the powerful female Minister of Magic in the future, she is now full of opinion and very stubborn. Without facts to prove it, she only believes in her own analysis.

But this was one of the things that Rolf admired about her, but he still felt very unhappy. But he couldn't be angry at Hermione, so he could only find trouble with the culprit, Lockhart, who happened to be a black magician soon.

Defense class.

Then when Luofu looked at the test paper in front of him expressionlessly, he realized that this idiot used the same teaching method for students of every age.

But that's right, who calls him a fool? He probably can't think of any other way to cope with the Defense Against the Dark Arts course, but at least he can still be used as a consumable to survive this year.

Thinking about it this way, it's not easy for Dumbledore. After all, he worries about finding a suitable candidate to teach Defense Against the Dark Arts every year.

After handing out the papers, Gilderoy Lockhart returned to the podium. He knocked on the desk with his wand, and then said: "I'll give you thirty minutes. Now - start!"

However, the students below showed little interest in this set of test papers and the questions above, so much so that when Lockhart put away the test papers and flipped through them half an hour later, he frowned at the large number of blanks and errors.

"Almost no one remembers what my favorite color is. It seems everyone needs to read more of my books."

Faced with Lockhart's comments, the reactions of the students below were all silent, as if they were watching a failed comic show. After laughing awkwardly for a while, Lockhart took out a huge one from under the podium.

Cage.

"Now - back to the subject, be careful! My mission is to teach you to defend yourself against the most evil things known to the wizarding world! You will face the most terrifying things in this classroom. But remember, as long as I am here,

You will not be harmed in any way. I just ask you to stay calm."

Obviously fourth grade students are not as easy to scare as second grade students. Everyone in the audience remained silent, watching Lockhart jump up and down like a clown.

But Rolf knew clearly that if he were really allowed to release the contents of the cage, it was hard to say what kind of damage would be caused.

Faced with the students' lack of cooperation, Lockhart had no choice but to pull down the canvas covering the cage, revealing the Cornish elf inside. Seeing that the most dangerous creature in Lockhart's mouth was actually the Cornish elf

Elf, many students sneered.

But Rolf's face turned green because he saw that Lockhart had reached out to the iron door of the cage and was about to open it. He was still shouting: "Let me see how you deal with them.

!"

As soon as his hand opened the cage door, a magic spell flew over and hit the first elf who was about to fly out of the cage. This was an expansion spell, and the elf's swollen body completely blocked the cage.

Export.

But soon, other elves swarmed over and pulled its limbs, preparing to pull it away from the blocked cage mouth. But another spell hit the iron cage containing the elf, and this time it didn't

It's a simple expansion spell, but a powerful blue current.

As we all know, the iron cage is a conductor, and so is the body of the elf. So the current was quickly passed from the iron cage to every elf in the cage. Along with the sizzling sound of the current, a smell of barbecue soon came.

Spread throughout the classroom.

Of course, it was not only the iron cage and the elf inside that were hit, but also Professor Gilderoy Lockhart, who was holding the cage. A powerful electric current also ran through his body, but fortunately the wizard's body was under the influence of magic.

Under protection, he is much stronger than ordinary people.

So this small amount of electricity can't kill him, it just electrifies him so much that his hair stands on end and his whole body is paralyzed. And all of this only happens in an instant, and everyone's attention is focused on the elf who is about to come out of the cage.

I'm so attracted, I don't even know who did it.

Professor Snape, who was in charge of the investigation, and Principal Dumbledore, who had made the final decision, had no intention of pursuing the matter to the end. Therefore, the matter ended with Lockhart drinking the potion given to him by Madam Pomfrey with a grimace, and then in the afternoon

The class ends with continuing with the second grade students.

It's just that he has to find a way to get another batch of Cornish elves. After all, the last batch has been turned into kebabs, which is not an easy task.

But when he returned to his office, he found that there was another cage of Cornish elves here, looking as if they had just been captured and full of energy.

Outside the door, there was Rolf Scamander with a meaningful smile.
