Chapter 214 The Saint of Zoroastrian Fire

After a brief shock, Zhou Jun composed himself and began to look around.

Under An Sishun's puzzled gaze, Zhou Jun covered his nose and mouth with his sleeve robe, walked to the side of the corridor, and started looking around.

After searching for a long time, Zhou Jun finally found something.

There was only an inconspicuous small hole on the ground. Zhou Jun dug up the soil with his hands and found a piece of incense that had long been burned out.

Zhou Jun took out the incense and carefully wrapped it with a cloth handkerchief.

Then, he called An Sishun and returned to the courtyard where he was hosting the guests.

The head of the An family, An Bozhu, saw Zhou Jun come back and found that the other person had a confused look on his face and was nervous. However, he pretended to be calm and asked An Sishun, "What happened?"

An Sishun was confused and just shook his head slightly.

Zhou Jun first asked for a bowl of sobering tea, drank it in one gulp, then walked to the stage at the far end of the courtyard and began to look around.

Seeing that the atmosphere was not right, Li Guangbi stood up and walked onto the stage, came to Zhou Jun's side again, and asked.

Zhou Jun asked Li Guangbi: "During the Hu Xuan dance just now, did you see a dancer in white?"

Li Guangbi shook his head.

Zhou Jun frowned, and first looked down from the stage. He was sitting in the main seat, which was located right in the courtyard.

In order to facilitate the audience to watch from a distance, the stage was deliberately built into an oblique trapezoidal shape with stone seats as supporting pillars when it was originally built.

Zhou Jun stood in the center of the stage. He first faced his seat, then turned around and looked into the depths of the stage. He saw a large screen placed in the courtyard.

At first glance, he didn't think much of the screen. When Zhou Jun got closer and took a closer look, he found that the screen was folded, deliberately leaving a gap in the middle and extending backward.

In this way, the entire stage forms a patchwork visual trap.

The woman in white dances on the inside of the screen, and the entire stage is designed as a angled bevel. In this way, only those sitting at the main seat can see the woman, while others are covered by the outer grille of the screen.

Blocked the view.

After thinking about this, Zhou Jun turned his attention to his position again.

Logically speaking, besides himself, there is one other person who should also be able to see the woman. It is An Bo Zhu, the head of the An family who is sitting next to Zhou Jun and who is sitting with him.

Zhou Jun got off the stage, came to An Bozhu's side, and coldly snorted: "Mr. An, you are so brave to use evil Zoroastrianism to confuse court officials!"

When An Bozhu heard this, his body trembled, and he quickly leaned over and said: "Zhou Jiancheng, I am also entrusted by someone. That person has no ill intentions towards you. Please calm down!"

An Sishun, who had been kept in the dark from beginning to end, was full of doubts when he saw his father suddenly confessing his crime, but he still bowed to Zhou Jun and said, "Mr. Zhou, I'm afraid there is some misunderstanding here..."

Zhou Jun stood with his hands behind his back, showing no anger or authority. He first glanced at the Sogdians in the courtyard, as well as the many servants and maids, but no one dared to look at him.

Then, he took a deep breath and shouted again: "Come out!"

If it was just an ordinary prank, depending on Zhou Jun's temper, he might just laugh and get over it.

But this time, Zoroastrianism used unknown drugs, which triggered Zhou Jun's memories of his previous life, and also involved the secret of his first visit to the Tang Dynasty, so he had to treat it with caution.

Seeing Zhou Jun getting angry, everyone present was shocked. Even Li Guangbi, who was familiar with him, saw the former like this for the first time.

Li Guangbi thought about it again and again, then stepped forward and asked Zhou Jun carefully.

Zhou Jun told him about incense, stage and other Zoroastrian arts, and Li Guangbi was furious when he heard about it.

At this moment, a tall maid with brown hair and blue eyes walked out of the crowd.

She put down her bun, took off her wide beard, and came to Zhou Jun.

The latter quickly recognized her identity.

Siyuna.

Zhou Jun stared at Siyuna and said coldly: "Where is she?"

Xiyunna glanced at Zhou Jun, who looked angry, and said softly: "The saint has returned to the Zoroastrian Temple."

Zhou Jun took out the unburned incense from his arms and asked Siyuna: "If you present this to Dali Temple, do you know what the consequences will be?"

Siyuna's body trembled slightly.

She originally thought that her actions were secretive and that Zhou Jun would never be able to see through the mystery, but unexpectedly, the other party took advantage of her.

Zhou Jun asked again: "If I am not mistaken, I am afraid that you have also tampered with the wine and food?"

Siyunna said nothing and just lowered her head, which was equivalent to acquiescing to the other party's words.

Zhou Jun slapped his palm on the desk and shouted loudly: "The Sogdians drove up the price of grain and almost caused a catastrophe. They all cherished the past and let it go. Zoroastrianism does not want to change, but is making trouble at this time. What are you doing?"

What do you think?!"

At this banquet, Li Guangbi accepted An Sishun's request and was willing to come forward to invite Zhou Jun. However, he did not expect that such a big mistake would occur.

Li Guangbi was regretful and angry at the same time. He pointed his finger at the Sogdians in front of him and shouted angrily: "Go and order troops now to tear down that Zoroastrian temple!"

When An Sishun saw that the matter was getting serious, he hurriedly came out to speak: "Please calm down, please."

Zhou Jun shouted to Siyuna: "Let her come to see me tonight. If she doesn't come, you will be responsible for the consequences!"

After saying that, Zhou Jun fluttered his sleeves and left Geyuan.

That night, Zhou Jun was sitting in the hall, Qiu Yong and Uncle Shen, with their respective tribes, were waiting on both sides, waiting quietly.

At the top of the moon, everything is quiet.

A white figure crossed the wall, drew an arc in the air, and slowly landed in the courtyard outside the hall.

Qiu Yong drew his sword, and Uncle Shen raised his crossbow, pointing at the white figure in the courtyard.

Facing the swords, guns and arrows, the figure showed no fear at all. He just stood there without moving.

Zhou Jun nodded towards Uncle Shen, who clapped his hands.

Soon, all the lamps and candles in the courtyard were lit, dispersing the dark night and illuminating the appearance of the visitor.

The figure wore a large white robe, with her head covered by a hood, and a red holy fire embroidered on the hem. Judging from the figure, she could vaguely tell that she was a woman.

The latter followed the instructions and raised his head, only to see that her face was covered with a mask, engraved with circular flower ornaments, crescent moons and other patterns.

Zhou Jun frowned at first, then said: "Take off your mask."

The woman's Tang Dynasty Mandarin was very green, but her voice was as melodious as a nightingale: "I am the wise daughter of Xin, the sister of Shamash, and the traveler of Bospa. I am recognized by the Holy Fire as Nana.

Reincarnation, when I take off the mask, I will return my divinity to the holy fire and become a mortal again."

After hearing these words, the old soldier Qiu Yong said in confusion: "What is she talking about?"

Uncle Shen, who has lived in Liangcheng for a long time, explained: "Since childhood, Zoroastrian saints must wear Zoroastrian fire masks so that their appearance cannot be seen by others. They are considered to be the reincarnation of Nana and must give up their appearance.

Abandoning their names, parents, and past, just to accept divinity. When they take off their masks, they will forever lose their qualifications as saints and become mortals again."

When Zhou Jun heard this, he didn't want to force others to do anything, so he said to the saint, "Come in and talk."

The saint said to Zhou Jun: "I am only talking to you, please let others leave."

Just when Zhou Jjun was about to refuse, the saint said again: "What we are going to say next, you don't want others to hear."
