Chapter 073 Wang Mengduan’s Authentic Works

 Master of Jiulong Mountain.

Isn’t this Wang Fu’s nickname?

Unexpectedly, this painting turned out to be an authentic work by Wang Fu and Wang Mengduan.

Shen Yu may not be confused now, but he is also very surprised.

He had thought of many great painters of the early Ming Dynasty, such as Wang Lu, Xu Bi, Bian Jingzhao, Li Zai, Xia Xu, Dai Jin, Zhou Wenjing, etc., but he did not expect it to be Wang Fu.

Compared with painters in the middle and late Ming Dynasty, Wang Fu's handed down works are not many.

But one thing is that Wang Fu's handed down works are quite numerous among the great painters of the early Ming Dynasty. There seems to be no need to hide paintings within paintings, right?

However, Shen Yu was immediately relieved. Xiang Yuanbian loved Wang Fu's paintings very much and was even considered one of his biggest fans.

Zhiban, an old man from Huangye, wrote in "Huangye'an Collection", "The family of Xiang Zijing (Xiang Yuanbian) has a scroll of Wang Mengduan (Wang Fu)'s Map of the Land and Mountains, which is four feet long. I have seen it. It is a rare treasure in the world." ."

This shows that Xiang Yuanbian has collected Wang Fu's calligraphy and paintings very early and regards them as treasures.

Moreover, this ancient forgery family that "hid the truth from the sky" did not disappear until the end of the Qing Dynasty. In the early Qing Dynasty, Wang Fu's paintings were already excellent, so it was reasonable to create a painting within a painting.

Wang Fu [fu], courtesy name Mengduan, nicknamed Youshisheng, also known as Jiulongshanren, was a top painter, poet, and calligrapher in the early Ming Dynasty.

In his early years, he was recruited to Beijing because of his talent, and later lived in seclusion in Jiulong Mountain to teach his disciples.

In the first year of Yongle, Wang Fu was recommended to Beijing again because of his good calligraphy, and served in Wenyuan Pavilion, where he became a member of Zhongshushe.

Zhongshu Sheren was a seventh-rank official in the Ming Dynasty. His rank was not high, but he was a close official of the emperor and the kind of official whom the emperor trusted.

"The demeanor of a generous person is timeless, and the power of writing is hard to find."

Wang Fu was mainly responsible for writing documents such as imperial edicts, edicts, silver albums, and iron certificates. Later, he participated in the compilation of "Yongle Dadian".

Wang Fu's Mozhu Shanshi is recognized as the first person in the Ming Dynasty.

His landscape paintings had a great influence on many artists of the Ming Dynasty. Among them, the four Ming painters Shen Zhou, Wen Zhengming, Tang Yin and Qiu Ying mostly wrote postscripts on his original works.

This painting is an authentic work by Wang Fu, and Shen Yu now has no doubt about it.

Holding the ancient painting in his hand, Shen Yu suddenly showed a smile on his face: "If the original artist of an ancient painting did not write the name of the painting, then the name of the painting is usually given by the later collector.

"To put it bluntly, whoever names the painting first will be followed by collectors and people who love painting.

"Since this painting depicts bamboo and stone, and there are six green bamboos, why not call it "Six Bamboos and Blue Stones"?"

After repeating it several times, Shen Yu immediately shook his head: "No! It's a bit complicated, so let's just call it "Ink Bamboo and Stone Picture"!

"Well, that's it, that's it!"

Most of Wang Fu's works have been collected by major museums. Shen Yu doesn't know the exact price, but conservatively estimates that the price of this "Ink Bamboo and Stone Painting" is at least 8 million.

Buzz!

The vibrating sound of the mobile phone on the bedside table reached Shen Yu's ears. He picked it up and saw that it was Mr. Li calling.

"Hello, Uncle Li."

Li Hanlin got straight to the point: "A few friends invited me to attend a small treasure appraisal party, where a few close friends took out the recently purchased collections and shared their experiences together.

"I told them to come over, do you have time?"

Hearing Li Hanlin's words, a warm current suddenly surged in Shen Yu's heart. Mr. Li really didn't say anything to him. This was obviously to help him get to know the big guys in the Chuzhou antique circle.

Shen Yu quickly said: "If you have time, you will find time even if you don't have time."

Li Hanlin laughed loudly, "Okay, one more thing, do you have any antiques that you can use? If so, bring them over!"

"Yes!"

Shen Yu answered very simply, and he himself had it.

Unrestored Ming Dynasty Black Duan Inkstone.

The original copy of "Decoration Chronicles".

Silver mandarin duck flask.

Cheng Junfang's ancient ink taken from the local stick in "Xige Qingyan Tu".

There is also the original "Ink Bamboo and Stone Pictures" by Wang Fu and Wang Mengduan.

It can be said that no matter which one is available, you can get it.

Just when Shen Yu was thinking about which item to bring, Li Hanlin's voice sounded again, "By the way, I forgot to tell you the address. The address is Zuixianju behind the Zuixianlou Hotel. When you come, tell me my name." That’s fine, otherwise you won’t be able to get in.”

"Okay Uncle Li, I remember."

Li Hanlin immediately hung up the phone.

Shen Yu is no stranger to the Treasure Appraisal Society.

The first is to identify treasures.

The second is to exchange collection experiences.

The third is to expand personal connections.

The fourth is the realization of antiques.

Shen Yu would never sell treasures in ancient books such as "Decoration Chronicles" unless they were printed in large quantities, such as the Three Kingdoms and Journey to the West comic strips that were relatively rare during the Republic of China. Shen Yu cherished them.

Shen Yu couldn't open the silver mandarin duck wine flask for the time being, and he didn't know what was hidden inside.

Wang Fu's painting is so precious that it would be a bit shocking to take it out, and authentic calligraphy and painting works before the Qing Dynasty will never be sold unless they are completely exhausted.

It has always been his dream to open a private museum. After selling this kind of rare calligraphy and painting, if he wants to buy it, he will have nowhere to buy it.

"Then let's go to the old house and get the ancient ink, and put this "Bamboo and Stone Picture" into grandpa's special safe.

"After all, that safe is much safer. Even if you use a cutting machine to cut it, it will take seven or eight hours to open. It's not even a little better than the one in the store.

"Of course, eggs can't be put in one basket. "Decoration Chronicles" and the silver mandarin duck flask should be placed in the secret compartment of the ancient shelf." Shen Yu said to himself.

Taking a taxi back to his old house, Shen Yu put the painting in his grandfather's safe, and at the same time took out the ancient ink from Cheng Jun's room and put it into the engraved silver square box he brought back from the store.

This square box is also an old object, dating from the Republic of China period. The ancient ink is placed in just the right size, and the original seven-point appearance instantly increased to nine points.

Zuixianlou is a restaurant, while Zuixianju is a teahouse. They both belong to the same owner, but are in different locations, so they are considered one behind the other.

Zuixian Tower is located on Yingbin Avenue, and Zuixianju is behind Zuixian Tower, which is like the back garden of Zuixian Tower.

Zuixianju is backed by Zuixian Tower and faces the Qingshui River. It is in an excellent location, and most of the beautiful scenery in Chuzhou can be seen.

Shen Yu got off the car at the Zuixianlou parking lot at No. 126 Yingbin Avenue, gave Mr. Li's name, and then got on the electric sightseeing car that had been waiting for him.

After exiting the parking lot, the sightseeing car drove up a bluestone path and soon disappeared into the bamboo forest behind Zuixian Tower.

Compared with Zuixian Tower, Zuixianju can be said to be quiet in the bustle. The moment the electric sightseeing car enters the bamboo forest, the noise outside seems to stop abruptly.

The ancient trees here are towering, the shade of the trees blocks out the sun, and the flowers are fragrant. It feels like you have entered another world, just like you have come to a deep mountain and deep valley.

Following the stone path and passing through a large peach forest, Shen Yu jumped off the sightseeing car in front of a classical mansion.

The four walls of the mansion are high, the wooden door is slightly closed, and there is a plaque with gold characters "Drunken Immortal Residence" on a black background hanging on the door.

In front of the door, a pair of stone lions with waving claws and angry faces seem to be roaring towards the sky.

Climbing up the stone steps, Shen Yu knocked on the door politely. Within ten seconds, the door opened inside, and a cheongsam woman with light makeup and short chestnut hair that reached her shoulders came out. She was about 25 or 26 years old. Years old, she is very beautiful.

Seeing Shen Yu, the woman smiled and showed eight teeth, "Sir, your surname is Shen?"

The woman’s voice is soft and pleasant.
