Chapter 5 Return

The plane landed slowly and kissed the land of Tokyo. The afternoon air was already very hot. Leaving the cabin felt like walking into a stove.

The white stone monster screamed, sprinted through the passage at a speed of 100 meters, and breathed a long sigh of relief when he ran to a place covered by air conditioning.

"How do Tokyoites survive in Tokyo?" she asked sincerely.

"What nonsense are you talking about, a Tokyoite?" Tsukishima walked swiftly and rushed over to slap her on the head. "And don't run around in the passage!"

"It hurts!"

Qing Keisuke walked slowly and slowly at the end of the passage, carrying their luggage.

He looked at the wide tarmac through the glass of the passage. The scenery in the distance had been distorted to a certain extent due to the high temperature, which reminded him of the day he had just traveled through.

It's just that everything has completely changed from before, and his mentality is also completely different.

A young woman walked past him and asked for his contact information, but he declined politely.

"Sorry, someone is waiting for me over there."

When he returned to the two of them, Shiraishi and Tsukishima made teasing sounds at the same time. Shiraishi even leaned close to Aoi Keisuke and imitated it vividly: "Hello, can you add a line~?"

Qing Keisuke pinched her mouth and replied with a smile: "Okay, I will delete your contact information first."

"Uh-huh!" Shiraishi reached out to grab Aoi Keisuke's waist, but soon both hands were caught by Aoi Keisuke with one hand, unable to move.

Within three seconds, Shiraishi blinked and gave up the struggle.

"Surrendered?" Qing Keisuke asked.

Shiraishi nodded honestly, and Aoi Keisuke let go of her, and then easily avoided Shiraishi's sudden sneak attacks.

"Okay, okay, don't embarrass yourself in public!"

Tsukishima glared at the two of them with disgust, then reached out and pinched Shiraishi's butt, scaring her.

"Hurry up, I'll tell your grandma that we're getting off the plane."

"What? I want to give her a surprise!"

"If you take Qing Keisuke back, there will be a surprise."

"Duck~"

The three of them took a taxi at the airport entrance and drove towards Kawawamanso. During this period, Tsukishima chatted with Qing Keisuke about Kawawamanso and invited him to go there if he had time.

Shiraishi was both looking forward to it and feeling anxious at the same time - he was worried about being beaten to death by his grandmother.

"If Dr. Shiraishi agrees." Qing Keisuke nodded.

"Next time~!" Shiraishi hesitated until he reached home, but decided to play it safe again.

"Then I'll go home first."

Qing Keisuke got out of the car and helped them carry their luggage to the entrance of Kawayan Village, and then waved goodbye to them at the intersection.

"Master, go to Shinjuku."

"OK!"

The taxi slowly drove away. Qing Keisuke looked out the window. The walls of Chuanyan Village gradually disappeared. Suddenly, he felt a little lonely.

He held his chest, puzzled at first, then tried to experience and enjoy it.

Lord Demon King felt the deeper emotion of being a "human", and that feeling is called "departure".

"Guest, do you want to play some music?" the taxi driver asked.

"No need."

Qing Keisuke replied calmly, looked away, and after thinking for a moment, he took out his mobile phone and edited an update:

"The summer trip is over."

The accompanying picture is a landscape photo taken in Hokkaido.

As always, Rena Kobayashi quickly liked his post, attached a picture of a hippopotamus with bright eyes, and immediately switched to private chat.

"Senior! Senior!"

"Hippo probe.jpg"

"Have you returned to Tokyo?"

"Yeah, I'm on my way home." Aoi Keisuke took a photo of her outside the taxi window. It seemed that Rena Kobayashi hadn't received the second postcard she sent yet.

"Oh~! How does it feel to travel?"

"Hmm... It feels like walking into a vast endless forest."

"Oh! Oh! So literary, do you mean there are unknown scenery and unexpected encounters everywhere?"

"That's not true. It's just because I ate a lot of delicacies."

"senior?!"

"^^"

Aoi Keisuke laughed softly, looking at the pale geisha face that Rena Kobayashi kept sending her, and he sent her another message: "Do you still remember that you have to be punished if you lose to me in the exam?"

"Eh? Ahem..."

"Hippo has a guilty conscience.jpg"

"Don't be afraid, I just plan to call you for a morning run in a few days."

Rena Kobayashi suddenly became energetic: "The number one long-distance runner in Nishi Sichuan Middle School is on standby at any time!"

"Then I will inform you in advance, where is your home?"

"Senior, hehehe~ If you ask for a girl's home address like this, if it weren't for Nana, I wouldn't give it to you."

Reina Kobayashi pushed the exercise book on the desk and fell onto the carpet in the room. She rolled her mobile phone around until her knees hit the low table and she suddenly shrank up.

"hiss!"

She stretched out her hand and rubbed the area where she had hit it, and then she let out two oohs and aahs before returning her attention to the chat box on her phone.

The latest news from Qing Keisuke is that he has arrived home and needs to tidy up his things and will talk later.

"Eh……?"

Reina Kobayashi jumped up and sat on the carpet in a posture that was neither kneeling nor sitting like a duck. After struggling for a moment, she sent Keisuke Aoi a hippopotamus emoticon with a question mark, but received no reply.

"Damn senior!"

Keisuke Aoi returned to the high-rise apartment in Shinjuku. He first opened the room and the doors and windows in the hall for ventilation, and then used a little magic to remove the dust and dirt.

But because Hoshino was in a hurry to leave at that time, there were still many things in his house that he had not had time to clean up. Some of the food that was not fed to Hanako No. 7274 was spoiled and needed to be sorted and cleaned manually.

He first took out the clothes he had brought for the trip out of his bag, packed them and threw them into the washing machine for washing again. After the washing machine started running, he went on to deal with the broken things.

Fortunately, the weather in Tokyo is hot and dry enough, so there is no peculiar smell yet.

The mobile phone, which was almost out of battery due to constant use along the way, was placed on the TV cabinet for charging.

Because of the updates he posted in the car, message notifications still sounded from time to time, but Qing Keisuke didn't bother to pick them up again.

The speakers on both sides of the TV cabinet were playing popular but niche songs. A clear, slightly immature female voice sang:

"Like cherishing the remaining heat

from high in the sky

With the swaying wind flying down

Wind chimes ringing

This summer will also leave

Facing the fierce sunshine, like a flower blooming

thoughts in mind

It's for you, brightly

It’s blooming again this year”*

Aoi Keisuke packed up the garbage he had sorted and put it away. After thinking for a moment, he threw it into the Hanako sisters' pure space - which can be regarded as a contribution to the world's environmental protection work.

After confirming that the garbage was disposed of, Qing Keisuke returned to the lobby and began to pack the remaining items in the luggage bag.

It includes various souvenirs brought back from Yuzawa and Hokkaido, as well as the last mask left by "Kaede"...

He rubbed his fingers over the vivid spring scenery on the mask, and then put the blood-stained mask into a glass display case as an important souvenir of this trip.
