Chapter 1 Su Ming

Mountains are green mountains.

An endless stretch of mountains, extending like a dragon's spine, permeates the vast land. There are many plants and trees in it, and the sounds of birds and animals are constantly reverberating.

Looking from a distance, the convex part of the mountain range forms five peaks, just like a person raising his fingers to grasp the sky. In the middle of one of the peaks, on a large concave rock, there is a young man leaning in the shade.

There was a basket beside him, with some medicinal herbs piled in it, emitting bursts of medicinal fragrance that lingered around.

The young man had good features, but he was thin and looked a little frail. He was wearing a small shirt sewn from animal skins, with a white crescent animal bone hanging around his neck. His head was a little messy, and he was carelessly using it.

Tie with rope.

He sat there, holding a leather book with more than ten animal skins stuck together in his hand, reading with relish, shaking his head.

"The barbarians have ancestors who opened the sky and created humans, leaving them for generations to this day... Those who hold barbarism are called barbarians, and they can move mountains and seas... There are barbarian patterns reaching the sky, and they can pick off the sun, moon and stars..." The young man read and sighed.

.

"How can you become a barbarian without a barbarian body... a barbarian... a barbarian... Su Ming, all you can do is collect some herbs and become a common doctor in the tribe. If you want to become a barbarian who cultivates barbarism, it is far away."

The young man laughed at himself, put down the animal skin scroll in his hand, looked at the world in the distance, and stood up in a daze.

He had read this roll of animal skins countless times, not to mention memorizing it by heart, but it was almost the same.

"The sky is round, the earth is square, it is boundless, it seems boundless..." Su Ming murmured, imagining the world in the book in his mind. Unknowingly, the sky was getting dark, and he could see the end of the world in the distance.

There seemed to be dark clouds looming.

The mountain breeze also brought a sense of moisture, which fell on the leaves of many plants and trees on the mountain, making a rustling sound.

The moment he saw the dark clouds on the horizon, Su Ming suddenly became energetic.

"Grandpa's calculation is indeed accurate. There is really something wrong today!" Su Ming's eyes were bright. He quickly stood up, stuffed the animal skin roll in his hand into his arms, grabbed the knitting basket beside him with his left hand and carried it on his back.

With a sway of his body, he grabbed the grass rope on the side with great dexterity and climbed towards the top of the mountain.

From a distance, one can see that this young man's frail body is bursting with extremely tenacious strength. He is like an ape and can climb more than ten feet in a few leaps.

The dark clouds between the sky and the earth are rolling in, and there is a roaring sound, as if the wrath of the sky has descended on this mountain range. The dark clouds connect the sky and the earth, and it is pitch black, and they are getting closer and closer in the blink of an eye.

Su Ming was climbing faster at this moment. Almost at the moment when the dark clouds spread, he had already climbed to a position about dozens of feet away from the top of the mountain. There was a large convex strange rock there, which seemed to be made of nature.

There are countless holes the size of fists in the hollow. The overall appearance of this strange rock is like a giant python entrenched here that merges with the mountain peak.

Under the strange rock, there is a cone shaped like a fang, which looks shocking and strange. Moreover, because it is a protruding part from the mountain, it almost looks like it is suspended in the air. It is difficult to climb over it unless you can take off and fly.

Su Ming grabbed the rope with his left hand, took out a small bottle from the knitted basket behind his back with his right hand, put it to his mouth and bit it, slowly moved his body, moving several feet in the opposite direction of the strange rock, causing the rope he was holding with his left hand to also move.

After tilting up, he clasped his fingers on the mountain wall and leaned close to it. He looked up at the dark clouds in the sky, his eyes bright and motionless.

A moment later, dark clouds covered the sky, and the sound of thunder roared. It was deafening, and the strong wind was raging, blowing the mountains as if they were about to rise from the ground. In the strong wind, Su Ming's five fingers holding on to the mountain wall turned white.

, but did not move at all, looking at the sky with tenacity in his eyes.

The strong wind became stronger and stronger, blowing the grass and trees in the mountain range, making a sound like the roar of a giant beast, and also rolled up countless dead branches and leaves on the mountain range, causing the grass, trees and leaves to fly rapidly all over the sky.

Even some large pieces of dead wood and small animals were rolled up and thrown far away in the rotation, and their screams were also hidden in the sound of the wind.

After Su Ming persisted in this strong wind for a short time, the entire sky was completely covered by dark clouds. Under the thunder, huge raindrops poured down. At this moment, the entire world seemed to have become a world covered by a curtain of water.

The rain kept falling, getting louder and louder. Su Ming still clung to the rope soaked by the rain and pressed against the mountain wall. He let the rain soak through his body and remained motionless, staring at the python.

Under the strange rock of the beast, there is a protruding rock like a fang.

I don't know how much time has passed, but the rain is still increasing, and the world is covered with rain and fog. The Fang Rock that Su Ming is staring at is slowly secreting black liquid under the wash of the rain.

The black liquid merged with the rainwater and formed a water line, flowing downward.

Su Ming looked at this scene, his eyes were filled with joy, but he remained still, until the secreted black liquid gradually became less and less, and finally turned into gold. Su Ming's eyes were fixed, without any hesitation, and he suddenly relaxed.

He opened the right hand that was holding the mountain stone, and when his body slipped, he immediately took the vial from his mouth with his right hand.

The rope he was holding with his left hand was already tilted. Now as his right hand was released, his whole body seemed to be swinging, and the rope was heading straight towards the protruding Fang Rock at an extremely fast speed.

Because the arc of the rope's inclination was extremely large, and the position he grasped was quite accurate, at this moment, with almost a roar of thunder, Su Ming followed the rope to the side of the Fang Rock, holding the rope with his left hand.

He held the small earthen bottle in his right hand. At the moment when it was approaching, he quickly placed it under the fang rock. With the help of the rope, after reaching the limit, most of the bottle was filled with golden liquid.

But at this moment, a sharp neighing sound was heard suddenly, and about four or five black centipedes, as thick as an arm and half a foot long, suddenly emerged from the many fist-sized holes in the strange rock.

He ferociously rushed towards Su Ming who was hanging in the air.

Su Ming was not surprised at all. Almost as soon as those centipedes appeared, he immediately released his left hand holding the rope, and his body immediately fell at an extremely fast speed, avoiding the attacks of those centipedes.

"Xiao Hong!" Su Ming's whole body fell sharply in mid-air. The strong wind was like a knife and made his body stiff instantly. Although he avoided those centipedes, once he fell, he would immediately turn into meat.

But he did not panic. He saw a red figure rushing out from the nearby cliff grabbing a rope and heading straight for Su Ming's falling body. It approached in an instant and grabbed Su Ming. The red figure was

A little red monkey was grinning, but his eyes were full of energy.

One person and one monkey followed the rope and landed on the mountain cliff, where Su Ming had been studying. Su Ming's eyes showed nervousness and he immediately put away the small earthen bottle he had been holding on to.

"Xiao Hong, we have to run quickly. I grabbed too much saliva this time! Hey, what are you holding in your hand?" Su Ming said, and saw the little monkey holding a small piece of black in his paw.

of fragments.

The little monkey immediately looked wary, put his paws behind him, and roared several times. Seeing that time was running out, Su Ming stopped talking and immediately walked a few steps forward, jumped down, and grabbed the ropes.

, and flew down together with the little monkey.

Behind them, a roaring sound rose into the sky, and they saw several black centipedes chasing after them along the rock wall, like multiple black lines sliding down, chasing them continuously.

The little red monkey bared its teeth and kept hissing at Su Ming beside him. The red shadow flashed, and sometimes he looked back at the centipedes chasing behind him, with fear and anger in his eyes.

"It's not the first time I've run away like this. Those people don't dare to go down the mountain, so stop pretending. As per the old rules, you get a small share of these people." Su Ming was running away in a hurry, but his words seemed lazy. As expected,

As soon as these words were spoken, the little monkey immediately beamed, obviously everything before was just an act.

This man and the monkey are very familiar with this mountain range. In addition, for some reason, those centipedes seem to dare not go directly through some parts of the mountain, but go around in a detour. In this way, Su Ming and the little monkey can escape.

They are not as fast as those centipedes, but they sometimes jump down directly and can often catch a rope. After a few times, they descend the mountain peak and disappear into the jungle.

As expected, those centipedes did not dare to go down the mountain. After roaring for a long time, they climbed up to the top of the mountain again with unwillingness.

The dark clouds came and went just as quickly. After a few hours, the mountain range returned to normal, and the dark clouds rolled away and spread into the distance.

At the edge of the jungle, Su Ming and the little monkey walked out. The sky was getting dark now, and some faint firelight could be seen on the horizon in the distance. That was the tribe where Su Ming belonged.

"You drank half of the portion I gave you, do you still want it?" Su Ming walked out of the jungle, his whole body was wet, but he didn't care about it. Instead, he looked at the man who had been following him with a half-smile, looking eagerly.

My own little monkey.

This little monkey is extremely psychic. He accidentally discovered it when he entered this mountain three years ago. They had some conflicts with each other, but they eventually became good friends.

The little monkey blinked and scratched its face, showing a trace of struggle and hesitation, but soon it handed the dark fragment it had just grasped to Su Ming, and roared a few times, expressing its intention to exchange for the black piece.

The meaning of ambergris.

"Okay, I'll give you some more, but I don't want this broken stone, so you can keep it." Su Ming laughed, took out the small earthen bottle from the basket, and handed it to the little monkey.

The little monkey quickly grabbed it and took a sip. His face showed an intoxicating look. After swaying for a few times, he let out a wine burp and threw the black stone fragments and the vial in his hand to Su Ming.

With a few leaps, he disappeared into the jungle.

Su Ming looked at the earthen vase with only half of it left, smiled slightly, put it back into the basket behind him without caring, and looked at the pitch-black stone fragment.
