708 Churchill's finale

After losing everything, Churchill experienced a short period of house arrest, and then was sent to a prison in Berlin to await final trial.

However, Churchill in prison was not completely crazy as rumored. At least he remained awake most of the day.

Even when he was in the bunker in London, Churchill could not be considered completely crazy. In his case, at best, he was considered mad, or to be more precise, he was insane.

Perhaps because Churchill was also a nationalist, there was no lack of madness in his heart that led to the destruction of the British Empire.

During the days when he was under house arrest under Gott before he was handed over to Germany, he heard the news of Lord Gott's surrender speech in prison.

In Churchill's eyes, this undoubtedly means that the British government has completely become a client regime of Germany. Reinhardt achieved his goal, swallowing up the entire Europe, and making his Atlantic barrier truly impeccable!

In pain and as if he had lost his soul, Churchill chose to commit suicide in despair.

He took off his shoelaces, tied them to the ceiling of the room and attempted to hang himself.

Unfortunately, Churchill was too fat and too heavy to succeed.

The second time, when Gott was handing over the ship to Germany by ship from the island of Ireland, Churchill attempted to commit suicide by jumping into the sea while boarding the ship.

However, on the night when he boarded the ship, the fat Churchill was blown by the icy sea breeze, and he suddenly instinctively sensed the biting cold of the sea water. After a short hesitation, he missed the opportunity to commit suicide by jumping into the sea.

For the third time, Churchill, who had been sent to a German prison, used his ring in exchange for a cyanide capsule from the prison guard and prepared to commit suicide by taking poison.

Churchill, who had failed to commit suicide twice, had to think about it for a long time before he plucked up the courage to swallow the capsule and gritted his teeth to face death.

As a result, Churchill ended up having diarrhea for a long time, and was later told by a specialized doctor in a German prison that the person selling his medicine capsules was simply a liar, specifically deceiving people like them who were destined to be sentenced to death.

After three failed suicide attempts, Churchill finally gave up the idea and had no choice but to wait for the final trial.

When the time for the trial finally came, Churchill was taken to Nuremberg, Bavaria, Germany, the day before the trial, to receive the final trial at the military court there.

As early as the end of the Battle of Britain, how to deal with the guilty Churchill militants caused a debate within the Allies. The most radical people advocated simply burying them alive, while most members of the National Socialist Party in Germany advocated no trial.

Just execute him.

The French, who had been hurt twice by the British, believed that all British who wore British uniforms should be shot, or at least sent to Siberia for hard labor. As for the SS, perhaps burying them alive would be a better way.

The Norwegian government, which suffered blatant aggression by the British army, also suggested that the main British war criminals be executed without trial. The Norwegian government believed that when these people planned to launch the Second World War, they issued guilty verdicts and served death sentences to themselves.

Execution order. If they had not declared war on Germany and invaded Norway, perhaps World War II would not have started at all.

However, Reinhard defied all opinions and finally decided to advocate using "law" to make criminals plead guilty and to cultivate "justice" with fairness, fully embodying the Third Reich's status as a "just representative".

Reinhardt even emphasized that if Churchill could prove his innocence, the Nuremberg Trials would also give him a fair verdict.

However, if anyone thinks that Reinhard really wants to give leniency to Churchill, who has always been against him and forced him to fight to the bitter end with Britain, that is a big mistake!

After all, the Nuremberg Trials took place on German soil. On the night before the trial, Churchill was taken out of the cell by the prison guards in accordance with Reinhardt's instructions and brought to a wall full of bullet marks.

Also brought along with him were four other prisoners covered in blood.

Seeing such a bloody scene, as well as the shot that was full of bullet marks and vaguely stained with blood, Churchill was so frightened that his legs trembled, and he immediately prepared to reveal his identity as Prime Minister. Although he was a former Prime Minister, he believed in these German

The guy will also immediately realize that he may have mentioned the wrong person.

But before Churchill finished shouting, a louder voice from the side drowned out his shout.

Churchill only heard the prisoner at the end shouting: "You can't do this! I'm not a Soviet spy! How can you frame a British farmer as a senior Soviet spy? I can only use a hoe to plant..."

"Tu tu tu tu...!"

Before the man could finish speaking, a burst of execution gunshots rang out in succession in the dark night. Then, the peasant, who looked like a bumpkin at first sight, was riddled with bullet holes and fell decadently in a pool of blood.

Although Churchill had sent thousands of young men to the battlefield and into hell, causing countless deaths. But seeing a man beaten alive at such a close distance still frightened him half to death.

Immediately afterwards, another man who looked like a farmer was pulled up by the executioners.

"You can't do this! I'm just a farmer. Everyone in the village knows that I can't read. You actually accuse me of peeking at state secrets and sentence me to death. Do you have any conscience? I want...

"

After a shot was fired, the prisoner, who called himself a farmer, fell to the ground with blood pouring from his body.

The judge who fired the shot was wearing a black uniform and was probably a member of the second-line SS. He was holding a revolver and stood less than 20 meters away from Churchill. He blew on the muzzle of the smoking gun and said, "Next one."

.

Now Churchill finally understood. A fat officer of about the same size as him, who had wet his pants, was being held by two SS soldiers, shouting hysterically: "Stop! I have made meritorious service in Egypt.

There has been blood in Libya. I am a British general. You cannot treat me like this! My brother’s wife is the lover of former Prime Minister Churchill! I know many big people..."

"Tu tu tu tu...!"

There was another burst of gunfire, and then the surroundings calmed down again.

"Wrong, you must have made a mistake!" Churchill's mind was completely confused for a moment.

He had gone from being confused at the beginning, to shocked, to realizing that he seemed to be one of the people waiting to be shot.

Damn the Germans, damn Reinhardt, didn't you agree to give me a fair trial? This shameless villain is on his last night before the trial. Who would have thought that he would actually send someone here?

Kill me!
