Chapter 1652 Wake Up

Golden Retriever sniffed the ground, seemingly tracking the scent of the blood dog, and chased forward.

There were dilapidated stone buildings all around. Han Sen frowned more and more as he looked at them. Jin Maohou kept moving forward among the ruins. After walking for more than a hundred miles, he found many stone tablets scattered on the grassland in front of him.

The stone tablets were all crooked, and some were even stuck upside down on the grass. However, this was the only stone building with writing that Han Sen and the others had seen.

Han Sen asked Golden Retriever to stop temporarily. Because he had to smell the smell, Golden Retriever didn't run very fast. If he continued to chase, it would be difficult to catch the bloody dog.

He looked at the nearest stone tablet and saw that it was engraved with very ancient characters. It was Han Sen who had learned ancient characters before.

Part of the stele is missing, but most of the writing can still be seen.

"Ymir, defeated."

Han Sen looked a little strange. There was only a name and the word "defeat" on the monument. Other than that, it had no beginning or end. It said it didn't look like a tombstone, and it said it was a merit monument, but there was no such writing.

Han Sen looked a little strange and didn't know who this Ymir was.

Han Sen turned around and looked at another stone tablet not far away. He saw the words "Defeat of Veles" written on it. Except for the name, everything else was exactly the same.

Han Sen couldn't help but frown slightly, and then looked at the other stone tablets. Sure enough, he saw names on them, followed by the word "defeat".

"Ji... defeat... Gautama... defeat... Malili... defeat... Jiang... defeat... Brahma... defeat... Zeus... defeat..."

Simple names are carved on the broken stone tablets. There is nothing special about them, but they give people a sense of desolation, as if they have traveled through time and space, and there are endless sad sounds echoing on the stone tablets.

Han Sen didn't know what creatures these names belonged to, nor where they were defeated. Apart from their names, these creatures left nothing behind.

After passing the broken stone tablets, a bronze palace appeared behind it, which was relatively intact. Although there were many scratches on it, there were no real cracks.

The entire bronze palace still looks intact, but because it was hit on the grassland, one side has sunk severely, and half of the wall has sunk into the soil.

Golden Retriever sniffed the scent and actually arrived in front of the gate of the Bronze Palace. He roared at the gate of the Bronze Palace, as if to tell Han Sen that the blood dog was inside.

Han Sen looked at the bronze palace and saw a plaque on the bronze door with three words "Hall of Heroes" imprinted on it.

"I don't know why, but I have an ominous premonition in my heart." Dragon Girl said while looking at the Bronze Palace.

Han Sen nodded. He also felt a little uneasy in his heart. It was difficult for the cave aura to penetrate into the palace, and he didn't know if the blood dog was really in the palace.

"Where did the strange creature you summoned come from?" Han Sen looked at the dragon girl and asked.

The dragon girl smiled bitterly and said: "I don't know either. My summons of ingredients are all random. Even I don't know what I can summon. I don't even know where they come from."

After saying that, the dragon girl looked at the Hall of Heroes again and said: "I always feel that something is wrong. This place is a bit weird. Let's go. We will have another chance in the future."

Han Sen was about to say something when he suddenly heard a creak and the originally closed door of the Hall of Heroes opened by itself, revealing a foot-wide gap.

Han Sen and Dragon Girl both looked at the bronze door warily, and Golden Retriever growled at the door.

Snap!

A hand suddenly stretched out from the door and pressed on the edge of the door.

Han Sen's eyes were fixed on the hand holding on to the side of the bronze door. I'm afraid that hand could no longer be described as a hand, more like a skull claw.

Although it still maintains the shape of the hand, the skin and flesh on it have dried up and are completely attached to the bones. It is full of wrinkles like dry tree bark, and has a bluish-white color on it, giving people a dead feeling.

The hand grasped the edge of the bronze door and slowly opened the bronze door.

As the bronze door slowly opened, Han Sen could see some scenes inside the door. The parts that could be seen were empty, and nothing could be seen except the bronze pillars supporting the palace.

The hand opened more than half of the bronze door, and Han Sen finally saw clearly the owner of that hand.

It was a creature wearing a black cloak. Except for his outstretched hand, his entire body was wrapped in a black cloak. Apart from the fact that he was a human, nothing else could be seen.

.

Han Sen's Dongxuan aura fell on him, and he couldn't feel anything either. The person in the black cloak seemed to be a dead person, with no breath in his body.

"Since you're here, come in." The cloaked man opened the bronze door, then stood inside the door, seeming to be looking at Han Sen and the others, and made a heart-shaking sound of metal friction.

"What is your name?" Han Sen was wary and looked at the cloaked man and asked.

"I am already a dead person and have no name for a long time. If I must have a name, just call me the waker." The cloaked man still had that teeth-trembling voice.

But he still lowered his head when he spoke, and his entire face was hidden in the shadows under his cloak, like a ghost in the cemetery.

"Watcher? Who are you keeping watch for?" After hearing this name, Han Sen felt more and more unlucky and did not move forward.

"I don't keep vigil for anyone." The vigilante said calmly.

Han Sen frowned and looked at the guardians. Suddenly, his heart moved. He pointed at the stone tablets and asked, "Is it possible that they are the ones you are guarding?"

The person watching the wake made a strange laugh: "Yes or no, I'm watching over them, but it's not them either."

"What does that mean?" Han Sen asked with a frown.

"Come in and take a look and you will understand." The waker said with the same strange smile.

"No matter what you are guarding, I have no interest in it." After Han Sen said this, he slapped Golden Retriever, who immediately turned around and left.

There is a strange energy in this place. Although Han Sen feels that he is invincible within the Fourth Sanctuary, there are many weird things from other places in the Fourth Sanctuary. Han Sen cannot guarantee that he can really kill them all.

At least after seeing him stay up late, he no longer thinks he is invincible.

"Now that you're here, do you want to leave without coming in and taking a look?" the pallbearer said gloomily.

Han Sen ignored him and continued to urge Jinmaohou to run away, but Jinmaohou ran slower and slower, as if there was a strong force behind him pulling it, and actually pulled Jinmaohou's body back.

, together with Han Sen and Dragon Girl on his back, fell into the bronze palace.
