1115 Far water does not quench the thirst near

Before the sonar soldiers could figure out what they were, a group of alien fighter jets suddenly emerged from the water, quickly spread their wings after taking off, and pounced directly on the destroyer not far away.

The destroyer did not expect the aliens to have such a skill. Fortunately, the entire ship's officers and soldiers were always in a state of combat readiness. At the captain's command, the anti-aircraft missiles located on the front deck were launched immediately, and the close-in anti-aircraft guns were also ready to fire.

The rocket launcher fired one step ahead of the missile. The rockets exploded above the battleship. Each rocket formed an umbrella-shaped smoke screen. The layers of smoke screen immediately enveloped the battleship, forming a curtain wall on the water to block the battleship.

The alien fleet immediately pulled up, and in the process of pulling up, it happened to collide with an anti-aircraft missile. The fighter planes lost a third of their weight before flying above the curtain wall, and then fired several bug bombs downwards.

These bug bombs have also been improved. They are not the previous space models, but have new structures with wings added.

After the insect bombs penetrated the smoke screen, they burrowed back and forth in the smoke screen. Some of them accidentally hit the warship and were shot down by the ship's close-in defense gun. Others kept flapping their wings and hovered in the air, waiting for the smoke screen to dissipate.

Aliens have fought so many battles with humans and have long been familiar with human beings' routines. Although this is on earth and not in space, the routines are still the same.

How dare the destroyer give the aliens a chance to attack? It turned around and headed north while firing another round of anti-aircraft missiles.

The alien fighter planes also wanted to get rid of the missiles, but they did not have an aerodynamic shape, and they flew with wings like insects. They were so clumsy that they could not dodge the anti-aircraft missiles at all, and they were always accurate.

The destroyer captain became fierce and almost fired all the anti-aircraft missiles before knocking down all the enemy planes in the sky.

But before he could breathe a sigh of relief, the sonar soldier discovered that an unknown target appeared in the water again.

The captain almost fainted and quickly ordered the sailors to load the missiles.

However, loading the missile takes time. Before the missile could be loaded into the launch tube, the second batch of enemy planes had already spread its wings and flew into the sky, attacking the destroyer again.

If it is a space battleship, there is no need to load it at all. The equipment on the ship will load the spare missiles into the launch tube as soon as possible.

But the same cannot be said for surface ships. Since the insect plague broke out ten years ago, the navy has never received sufficient military expenditures, and in the past ten years there have been few new ships launched.

After the emergence of the space fleet, all resources were tilted towards the space fleet, and the navy became a stepmother overnight. Currently, all warships in various countries are at the pre-war level. Not only are there few new ships, but the improvement of old ships has also stopped long ago.

, no matter what aspect, it cannot be compared with a space battleship.

The destroyer could only approach the anti-gun to deal with the enemy aircraft. It was beaten to a pulp by the alien's saturated bug bombs. Three acid bombs were hit in the bow of the ship. The acid strongly corroded the bow of the ship. The main gun was broken off, and the turret looked like a sunken turret.

Ice and snow generally melt quickly.

The sailors who were replacing missiles on the front deck were also affected by the acid bombs. Several sailors covered in acid disappeared without even making a scream in the acid, leaving not even a bone or residue.

The sailors who were splashed by the acid were in extreme pain and rolled on the ground in pain. Several of them couldn't bear the severe pain and actually threw themselves into the acid and committed suicide.

Although the others were not affected by the acid, they were all horrified to see their comrades die in the acid, and the whole ship was in panic.

As a result, the house leaked and it rained all night. Just after dealing with the second wave of bug bombs, the third wave of alien fighters also came out.

The captain ordered the abandonment of the ship without hesitation, and everyone quickly evacuated the destroyer.

As soon as the sailors evacuated, a swarm of bug bombs fell from the sky. A large number of acid bombs covered the entire superstructure, and several more hit the destroyer's waterline.

The sailors fought desperately to escape from the battleship, and after a while, the destroyer sank underwater.

The sailors were extremely sad and angry, but they did not realize the cruelty of the aliens. It was not until the alien warships hovered in the sky that some sailors remembered the rumors that the aliens took no prisoners.

They screamed and howled and jumped into the water as quickly as possible, hoping that the water would protect them. However, the aliens still dropped several acid bombs like they were dealing with battleships. The acid spread rapidly in the water.

It corrodes the skin and flesh of sailors, making them look as horrible as a horror movie underwater.

However, the battleship was not over yet. Before the alien fighters in the sky left, eight high-speed F-35Cs flew in from a distance. They were still hundreds of kilometers away from the battlefield. These aircraft launched a batch of long-range missiles at the enemy aircraft.

missile.

The alien warship didn't notice it at all. It wasn't until the missile flew closer that it realized it was being watched by humans. It was already too late to hide. The fast-flying missile shot down all the alien warships neatly.

The brief battle ended with the loss of a destroyer by the humans, but the underwater submarine successfully located several sound sources that may belong to alien warships based on the location of the fighter planes.

As the news spread, the warships from all over the world heading south at full speed suddenly stopped, and then they looked for allies on the spot. No matter which country they were from, as long as they were human warships, they would get together first until enough people were gathered.

Strength, these temporary fleets slowed down and continued to move south cautiously.

The only exception is an aircraft carrier battle group hundreds of kilometers away from the battlefield.

After the F-35C eliminated the enemy aircraft, it did not leave. Instead, it continued to hover over the battlefield. Soon after, the P-3C from the same aircraft carrier arrived at the battlefield and dropped several buoy sonar into the water. Unfortunately, no suspicious targets were found.

After a while, several CH-53s flew to the war zone and rescued the survivors in the water... Of the more than 300 officers and soldiers on the ship, only about 40 people were rescued in the end.

Soon after, the aircraft carrier battle group arrived and completely controlled the sea area. The aircraft carrier battle group almost turned the sea area over, but the alien warship was nowhere to be found, and even the suspected source of the sound was gone.

The loss of a destroyer is nothing. The problem is that the aliens have not even been touched, which is too unreasonable.

All countries were very aware of the consequences of alien landings, and immediately issued death orders to their own fleets to find the alien warships at all costs.

Coincidentally, the headless fleet could never find any trace of the enemy ship. The satellite that had lost its target accidentally discovered a suspicious shadow underwater near the South Orkney Islands.

The joint command determined that the target of this enemy ship is likely to be the southernmost tip of South America!

It is very likely that aliens will reoccupy South America, or it is possible that the aliens that originally occupied South America are not yet extinct. No matter which possibility humans cannot accept.

However, water far away cannot quench the thirst of the people nearby. There is no human fleet near the South Orkney Islands at all, and the nearest fleet is more than a thousand kilometers away.

Well... there will be victory... Actually, I didn't plan to write this paragraph at first, but after thinking about it, I might as well talk about the development process.
