119 Capture

The helicopter rotors were flying, and huge noise filled the cabin. The large headphones on the ears could only block part of the noise. The dull buzzing sound still stubbornly passed through the obstruction of the headphones and penetrated into everyone's ears.

Ye Han chose a seat by the window and looked down at Fuyun through the porthole. He didn't see the city below clearly, but he first saw the large iron cage hanging under the plane.

The iron cage is about two meters wide and four meters long. The entire body is welded with copper bars thicker than your thumb. The solder joints are strong and firm. An extra steel bar is welded diagonally to strengthen the structure.

There is an iron cage hanging under each of the five helicopters. Four of them are empty. Only one iron cage contains two live pigs. Probably because they have never flown in the sky in this life, previous life, or even the 80th generation of our ancestors. Those two pigs look like

Ye Han was as restless as he was about to approach the slaughterhouse, with feces and urine flowing out. He stretched his neck and screamed - the sound of the pigs was naturally no match for the noise of the helicopter, but Ye Han had good eyesight. Just looking at the appearance of the two pigs,

I knew these two beasts were barking non-stop.

Ye Han knew the purpose of this mission very well. When he saw the iron cage, he immediately knew that the purpose of this thing was to transport giant ants, and the two pigs were naturally used as live bait to lure the giant ants.

The fleet flew out of the city. Ye Han suddenly saw an endless convoy on the road leading due east. After a rough count, there were at least a hundred fully loaded heavy-duty trucks, some of which had been modified.

I don’t know whether these trucks were withdrawn from Jingjiang or modified by Fuyun themselves.

Before the convoy was out of sight, Ye Han saw a train with only six carriages on the railway not far away, and the train and the convoy were heading in the same direction.

Ye Han couldn't help but feel a little curious. To the east of Fuyun is Jingjiang. Jingjiang is already an empty city. Why did Fuyun send so many cars out?

He poked Long Jianguo next to him and motioned for him to look down: "What are these cars for?"

Long Jianguo replied: "Seal down the ant-occupied area."

Ye Han was startled: "The area occupied by ants is so large, how can we seal it with just these few cars?"

Long Jianguo shook his head: "I don't know about this. I heard it all from other people. That person is very informed, but what he said may not be accurate."

Ye Han chuckled: "Brother Long, do you have a plan?" His hand made a capture gesture in front of Long Jianguo.

"Of course there is. I plan to find a hole at the edge of the ant-occupied area, find a way to lure the ants out of the hole, catch a few and we will come back!" Long Jianguo shouted.

"Ant hole? No!" Ye Han shook his head quickly, "There are soldier ants guarding the ant hole. That thing has a hard head and won't leave the ant hole easily. I think we should catch a few worker ants first. Those things are everywhere.

Easy to catch!”

Long Jianguo glanced at Ye Han: "Soldier ants are also within the capture range, so we can deal with them at once. It would be better if there is a queen ant."

"The queen ant is underground, how do you catch it? Use an excavator or send a well-drilling team?" Ye Han's cheeks twitched, thinking that if it was so easy to solve, why send so many people?

Long Jianguo smiled and said: "Look at the opportunity and seize the best if you can. If you can't seize it, take your time and don't rush."

"Did it say how many were caught in total?" No rush? The amount of information contained in these two words seems to be a bit large, but Ye Han knows too little about the situation, and he will not be able to figure out the joints for a while.

“The more, the merrier.”

More than 20 minutes later, the helicopter flew to the edge of the ant-occupied area, overlooking the ant-occupied area from a high position, and saw that each ant hill was well-proportioned.

The location of the anthill alone cannot determine the boundary of the ant-occupied area. To be on the safe side, the helicopter landed one kilometer away from the anthill. The soldiers left the aircraft and formed a team. Long Jianguo ordered the troops to divide into two groups, with one platoon remaining to protect the helicopter.

Two other platoons moved closer to the ant-occupied area.

The experience in the ant-occupied area did not leave any psychological shadow on Ye Han, but when he thought about the possibility of stepping on a giant ant that might emerge from the ground at any time, Ye Han felt chilled in his heart.

He grabbed Long Jianguo and whispered: "It's too dangerous, you can't enter the ant-occupied area like this!" Then he expressed his worries again.

"Then what do you think we should do?" Long Jianguo frowned, suddenly feeling that calling Ye Han over was a mistake - are the Ye Han in front of him and the Ye Han on the train really the same person?

"Isn't there a railway? The possibility of ants digging through the roadbed is not high, and the roadbed has a better view than high ground, making it easier to observe the situation." Ye Han gave two reasons.

Long Jianguo hesitated for a moment before nodding. A few minutes later, the helicopter landed near the railway again. Long Jianguo personally led two platoons onto the roadbed, carefully stepped on the railway, and slowly walked into the ant-occupied area.

Still a few hundred meters away, Long Jianguo selected an anthill through the telescope.

This ant hill is only about 40 meters away from the railway, and the nearest ant hill is more than 200 meters away in a straight line. No giant ants have been found nearby, so it does seem to be a very suitable place to catch it.

After selecting the location, Long Jianguo did not approach rashly, but notified the aircraft behind him to follow him.

After receiving the order, the troops who stayed behind immediately took a live pig that was half-dead from fear out of the cage and dragged it alive into another empty cage. After being tied firmly, the helicopter hoisted the cage containing the live pig and flew.

To the ant-occupied area.

After flying over the target ant hill, the helicopter slowly descended under the command of Long Jianguo.

The cage under the plane has a live pig tied to one end, and a hole more than one meter wide is opened at the other end. A circle of steel bars with sharp edges are welded on the edge. With these steel bars supporting it, the giant ants can't even think about entering the cage.

Go out again.

The pilot used extremely superb driving skills to secure the hole in the iron cage to the anthill exactly, and then the plane landed near the anthill and shut down the engine.

Although it has been proven from various aspects that giant ants do not rely on sound to find targets, giant ants must have hearing, and the noise of the helicopter is not generally loud. After careful consideration, Long Jianguo gave the order to the aircraft to land and shut down.

It would be bad if the giant ants were scared away by the roar of the engine. Long Jianguo would rather wait patiently than waste all his efforts.

Anyway, military helicopters are very solid, and the armored fuselage cannot even be penetrated by bullets, let alone be bitten by giant ants.

When the roaring stopped, Long Jianguo said expressionlessly: "Sniper, give that pig a good blow. It can be considered as doing its part to exterminate the pests."

The corner of Ye Han's mouth twitched and she whispered: "This joke is really cold."

The sniper who received the order shot half of the pig's head off with one shot, blood and brains flew three feet away, and the half-dead pig died immediately.

"Bleeding, bleeding, what are you doing in the first place!" Long Jianguo shouted dissatisfied.

The sniper quickly fired another shot, piercing the main artery in the pig's neck, and a fountain of blood spurted out.
