790 Sadness and joy

The soldiers rushed out of the water one after another, screaming wildly, as if they couldn't show their joy if they didn't do this.

Ye Han turned around and grabbed the rope, laughing and cursing as he pulled it to the shore: "Why are you yelling? If you yell again, you will attract the wolf!"

The soldiers laughed loudly, and one soldier bravely laughed and said: "Captain, where are the wolves in this place? Even if there are any, they will be eaten up by the ants!"

"Humph, it will be even more troublesome when the insects come!" Ye Han said.

"Wolves are much easier to deal with than insects." Liu Bin climbed ashore and sat down in the muddy water. "Oh my God, I finally came out. I'm almost desperate."

"Who says it's not? It's really luck." Ouyang Ping said, "I don't know, I don't know what happened to the others."

Everyone fell silent after hearing this.

When they entered the cave, there were four groups of four vehicles. After they dispersed, only one group of people followed Ye Han out. The lives of the remaining three groups are still uncertain. The soldiers all thought of the consequences of not being able to get out of the cave, and thought of running out of power and oxygen in the water.

What a scene it would be to struggle hard but to no avail, and finally die in the cold and dark depths of a cave. Most of the joy of surviving the disaster was suddenly gone.

"Okay, don't even think about it. If we can come out, others can come out as well. If we really can't come out, it's our fate," Liu Bin said.

His words were full of fatalism, but everyone understood that he didn't mean that.

Ye Han sighed helplessly, not having any hope for the fate of the other groups of people.

It's not that he has a bad mouth, but it's the fact that he was able to bring this group of people out not only by trying to save himself, but also by the coincidence of many factors.

The first is the location. If the team had not happened to stop under the cave for a while, Ouyang Ping would not have been able to see the light of lightning.

The second was the heavy rain. It was precisely because of the heavy rain outside the cave that the rainwater seeped into the cave and caused the accumulated water to flow out, which further pointed out the direction of exiting the cave.

Then there's the time. If it hadn't happened to be heavy rain when it was close to the ground, there wouldn't even be lightning, and it would be even less possible to see the light of lightning.

All in all, Ye Han felt that he was 100% lucky to escape from the hole this time and would definitely make a fortune. Other groups of people may not have such good luck.

Unless a miracle happens.

Perhaps because he felt that what he said was too harsh, Liu Bin stood up without saying a word, grabbed the rope and pulled out all the remains of the US soldiers collected on the road.

The corpse had been soaked for too long, and its skin had turned white. The silent soldiers worked together to place the remains of the American soldiers in the muddy water on the shore.

"As far as these conditions are concerned, let's leave it as it is." Liu Bin clapped his hands and said, "Captain, what's the next step?"

Looking around, except for this small pool, there are dense forests everywhere, and it is impossible to recognize where this place is.

"We'll wait here for now. We'll talk after the rain stops." Ye Han raised his head, and a bolt of lightning just happened to tear apart the clouds, "Let's all sit down and rest for a while."

Without the satellite communication equipment on the armored vehicle, and lightning would tear up the sky from time to time, it would be impossible for the communication equipment on the armor to contact the near-Earth satellites. Not to mention that the weather would clear up after the rain, at the very least, communications would have to wait until the lightning stopped before communication could be restored.

At that time, whether it is locating coordinates or calling for support, it will be much better than acting blindly in the heavy rain.

Liu Bin sat down in the muddy water, exhaled a long breath, and took a deep breath of full-breathed air.

The armor has automatically shut off the oxygen supply, and the air the soldiers breathe now comes from the outside world.

Ye Han did not sit down, but adjusted the frequency of the radio to send signals using a frequency covering the entire communication band: "Is there anyone in this frequency band? Can anyone hear me?"

There was no response from the radio. Ye Han wanted to shout twice more in English to see if any Americans had received the communication, but Zhang Ruo was not here...

In order to facilitate communication, Ye Han sent Zhang Ruo to the No. 4 car before the flood. The others had power armor and there was some hope of escaping. However, Zhang Ruo only had a set of breathing equipment, and the possibility of escaping was almost zero.

Thinking of this, Ye Han couldn't help but feel sad.

Even though he has experienced life and death many times, he still cannot suppress the sadness in his heart whenever his comrades around him die.

Most of the time, those who died were not acquaintances. Ye Han could not deceive himself no matter how sad or miserable he was. Rather than being sad because of witnessing death and sacrifice, he was more sad because of the death of a rabbit and the death of a fox.

Thinking of this, Ye Han was not in the mood to shout anymore, and sat down next to Liu Bin, then simply lay in the muddy water, looking at the sky without moving.

The time now is early three in the afternoon, and the heavy rain will continue for at least an hour. Staying still can save the little remaining power, so as not to be unable to use the radio after the rain stops.

A bolt of lightning split the dark clouds, and Ye Han suddenly heard a voice in his ears: "Team... 嗞... chief, it's... 嗞... you... 嗞..."

Ye Han stood up suddenly: "Hey, who are you? Who is talking on this frequency band?"

"Captain... Hey... I... Hey... Luo Qi!"

"Luo Qi?" Ye Han couldn't help but be happy, "Are you okay? How is your group? Where are you?"

When the soldiers heard this, they all stood up. Looking at Ye Han, their eyes were full of disbelief, and the sad atmosphere was swept away - a miracle really happened!

"We...hey..."

"Hey, hey, hey!" Ye Han stood up and shouted repeatedly, running around in a hurry, but no matter how he called, there was no response.

After shouting for a while, Ye Han came to his senses. If the communication was interrupted, just cut it off. It was no big deal. At least he knew that Luo Qi's group was fine. It wouldn't be too late to contact him again after the rain stopped.

The soldiers were talking a lot, all discussing how the Luo Qi group escaped, but they were generally not optimistic about the other two groups. There were also some more optimistic soldiers who felt that both groups had come out, and there was hope for the other two groups, and they might be able to escape again.

A miracle occurs.

However, neither Ye Han nor Liu Bin spoke. A miracle that happens once is called a miracle, but does it still count as a miracle if it happens repeatedly?

Although they also hoped that the other two groups would be okay, the possibility of nothing happening was so small that they didn't even dare to think or say it. Unless these two groups escaped from the spider hole and stood in front of everyone, even if they were holding a

Even the slightest hope may end up being a huge disappointment.

Lying in the muddy water again, Ye Han stared at the sky. Countless raindrops were hitting his face, making his eyes blurry... His mind was in a mess. He was happy for his own escape and happy for Luo Qi's group, but he was also happy for Luo Qi's group.

The missing two groups were worried, and all kinds of emotions were mixed together. Even he himself couldn't tell what he was feeling.

Perhaps this is the mixture of joy and sorrow in the legend.
