Chapter 56 The Tide Stone

The so-called "Tide Stone" actually refers to a huge stone standing on the edge of a sea cliff at the southernmost tip of Haworth Island.

This huge stone is no ordinary stone, it is a natural sacred object of the same level as the "Mountain Key" born in the barrier mountains of the Khanduras region.

This large sacred object was born earlier than the Amazons. Its surface is covered with coral reefs and underwater treasures of various colors - these things always appear on it inadvertently.

But it stands on the top of the sea cliff, at a height of fifty or sixty meters from the sea below the sea cliff.

The Tide Stone cannot be moved. No matter what method is used, no one can move it away from the sea cliff.

The Amazons once worshiped this sacred object because of its miraculous ability to send objects into the abyss deep within the Twin Seas and bring back rewards from there.

At the beginning, the Amazons used it to send the tributes obtained from "circumcision" to the residence of the Storm Goddess in the depths of the Twin Seas. Every time they did this, they received timely and generous rewards from the Storm Goddess.

But later, when Hell invaded the first world, the sea giants, who had always been regarded as servants of gods by the Amazons, suddenly crawled out of the abyss like crazy, forcing the Amazon tribe on the Haworth Islands almost to a dead end.

After that, although reinforcements from human legions from other kingdoms finally relieved the Amazon tribe and drove the giants back into the sea, circumcision was eventually abandoned due to the damage this event caused to the Amazons and the rise of professionals.

.

Since then, the Tide Stone has been forgotten on the sea cliff, and few people around it go there anymore.

But the Tide Stone is a sacred object after all, and there is another thing surrounding the Tide Stone itself.

That was the rebellion among the men in the clan in ancient times.

After the rebellion was suppressed, the last surviving one of the three high priests was seriously injured and fled to the edge of the sea cliff where the Tidestone was located. The person responsible for hunting him down at that time was the Queen of the Singing Clan of that generation.

The queen deeply hated the fact that the three high priests took advantage of the situation when the army was severely damaged by foreigners and launched a rebellion, so a terrible human tragedy was staged on the edge of the sea cliff.

The last high priest originally intended to surrender because he still had two children in the tribe.

Moreover, the queen who was hunting down the chanting tribe at that time was his partner, the mother of his children.

As a result, the queen did not want to bear this humiliation at all. She did not want the high priest to have a chance to surrender.

So, just when the high priest was about to raise his hands and surrender, the queen suddenly pushed their son to the front of the battle and ordered their daughter to kill him.

Killed her brother.

The high priest screamed in disbelief, because their daughter took action without hesitation!

The sharp tip of the spear pierced the heart of a boy under ten years old, but the executioner was the boy's sister, who was also only fifteen years old.

Nothing breaks a father's heart more than this.

The high priest almost went crazy.

His eyes were bloodshot, his face was ferocious, and he let out a terrifying but meaningless roar.

The queen's face was expressionless from beginning to end, as if she had an iron mask painted on her face.

Beside her, her fifteen-year-old daughter was holding a spear stained with the blood of her biological brother. Like her mother, her face was full of indifference.

The high priest was desperate. He staggered back to the Tide Stone, his hair disheveled and cursed loudly like a madman.

Haworth Island, the ugly islands!

The women of the island! Evil scum!

I curse you! Curse you!

The islands will sink under the waves, and the Amazons will fall into the abyss forever!!

Amidst the vicious curse, the high priest gouged out his own eyes as a sacrifice. He held the eyeballs tightly and touched the Tide Stone next to him.

In a burst of rapid blue light, the Tide Stone teleported him out, into the endless waves deep in the Twin Seas.

Since then, thousands of years have passed, fewer and fewer people know about it, and the high priest's curse has never been fulfilled.

Gradually, people abandoned this small incident in the long river of history, and only a few people still remember the cause and effect of this incident.

Fina saw this incident in the ancient books stored in the family, and the reason why she searched for the ancient books was because the incident had always been regarded as top secret among the Amazons, but there was no evidence of it.

"trivial matters".

This so-called "trivial matter" happened after the Sea Giant Rebellion. At that time, the three major Amazon clans almost fell into civil strife due to various problems. Later, a legendary strongman from each of the three major clans came forward to temporarily suppress each clan.

Then the three of them met and went to the depths of the Twin Seas together. When they came back, the problems between the three tribes were solved with a piece of agreement.

But regarding this matter, most Amazons only know what it is and don't know why.

The three legendary powerhouses at that time were the first three Storm Queens after the tribe settled down again. What did they see in the depths of the Twin Seas?

When they returned, the three Storm Queens all carried scars and fatigue that had not yet healed after the battle.

Those who didn't know the inside story thought they just had a fight in the depths of the Twin Seas to redefine the status of the clans they represented in the entire tribe.

Regarding this issue, the three storm queens have never acknowledged it, but they have never denied it either.

So, over time, this became the "true version" spread within the tribe.

But Fina discovered another different reason for the three Storm Queens to enter the depths of the Twin Seas together in the ancient books collected by the tribe.

——They actually went to find the Storm Goddess.

The ancient scroll says: The three queens are not sure whether the existence of the goddess is real, whether she is good or evil, and what attitude she has towards the Amazon tribe.

So they decided to go to sea to find the legendary goddess and ask her what happened.

They agreed with each other that if they find the Storm Goddess and determine that she is well-intentioned, the chanting clan will become the leader of the Amazon tribe, and the tribe will completely resume the "circumcision" sacrifice to the Storm Goddess.

But if the Storm Goddess does not exist, then all rituals and sacrifices to worship the goddess must be cancelled. The chanting tribe gives up their clan name and the city of Yuxon, and they will take the lead in eradicating the Storm Goddess belief from the Amazons.

Finally, there is another option, that is, if the Storm Goddess really exists but has evil intentions towards the Amazons, then the three of them will try their best to destroy the Goddess, even if they die in battle.

If any of them is lucky enough to return to the tribe alive, then ask the surviving queen to lead the entire Amazon tribe to move eastward to the rainforest in the southernmost region of the Eastern Continent, and never get closer to the Haworth Islands again.

With these three choices, the three storm queens set out... (To be continued)
