Chapter 111 Nilasek

In the city of Harrogath where the wind and snow were howling, the barbarian leader Qualkek was leading Xue Hua and Kane towards a place similar to an altar behind the Presbyterian Church, braving the sudden heavy snowfall again.

The altar is surrounded by three stone pillars. The stone pillars are engraved with various mysterious patterns that Xue Hua cannot understand at all. Kane told him that these are the pictures and texts of the ancestors of the barbarian clan, and each group represents a person.

Ancestors of barbarians.

Qualkek walked to the altar and put down the war hammer in his hand. Without saying a word, he opened his arms and faced the center of the altar in an embracing posture.

"Ancestors, our land is under threat, your descendants are here to ask for your help!"

He chanted loudly with a pious look on his face, and strange spiritual fluctuations were transmitted from him to the three stone pillars around the altar.

Kaka... Kaka Kaka Kaka!!

The three stone pillars began to tremble, and a downward crack soon opened on the ground in the center of the altar.

Qualkek retracted his arms and raised his feet to walk down the stairs in the crack.

At this moment, an old but shrill voice suddenly came from behind them.

"Qualkek! What are you doing? Why are you disturbing the slumber of your ancestors?!"

Xue Hua and Kane looked back, only to see a skinny old man wearing a luxurious robe made of blue silk and white cashmere, with an elder's laurel crown on his head, rushing towards them from the Presbyterian Church.

Came over.

"I will use the sacred treasures of the clan to save our land and people!"

"Using the clan's sacred object?! Do you know what you are doing, Qualkek! The power of the clan's sacred object is weakened by one use. It should be used at the most critical moment!"

The blue-robed elder loudly refuted.

"Now is the most critical moment!" Qualkek's eyes narrowed, and his body exuded an undeniable aura of terror.

Choked by Qualkek's powerful aura, the blue-robed elder couldn't bear it and took two steps back.

A flash of panic flashed across his old, skinny face, but he didn't know what he thought of, but he finally calmed down again.

"Qualkek, I admit that the situation in Harrogath is critical now, but this situation cannot be solved even with the use of holy objects.

No matter how powerful the three ancestor souls are, their power has a time limit. It is simply impossible for them alone to kill the demon army outside!

And what if you really kill all those demons?

They are just projections, they will be reborn! Besides, there are more on the frozen plateau..."

"I know! You don't need to remind me!" Qualkek raised his head and interrupted the blue-robed elder's words. Xue Hua felt that he glanced at him intentionally or unintentionally.

"Then don't be so stubborn, leave the holy objects and let them play a role at the most critical moment."

The blue-robed elder tried hard to dissuade Qualkek, but what kind of person was the barbarian leader?

Once he decides something, he must complete it!

"Nilasek, you don't have to worry about things here!

When the Presbyterian Church was martyred, since you chose to stay, you should do more to fulfill your obligations!

I am the leader of the barbarian clan, and I have the final say here!"

"Qual'Kek... I hope you won't regret your stubbornness!"

Elder Nilasek's face turned pale with anger, and his whole body was almost shaking.

But Qualkek ignored him, grabbed the warhammer and walked down the cracked tunnel in the altar.

After he went down, Niracek became aware of the existence of Xue Hua and Kane. He immediately realized that Qualkek's sudden behavior was probably "provoked" by these two outsiders, so he looked at him with a smile on his face.

He walked towards them with an angry look.

"You are not welcome here, outsiders!

If you know the truth, leave here before it brings irreparable disaster to Harrogas!"

Kane initially turned his back to Nilasek, and did not turn around even when Qualkirk scolded him.

But when he heard these words that clearly meant expulsion, he couldn't bear it anymore.

Kane frowned and turned away, looking at Niracek with cold eyes.

"Elder...our matters are not something you should worry about, nor are they something you can worry about.

Take care of yourself and don't let the hopes other elders put on you be ruined!"

"You...you're Deckard Cain!"

The moment Niracek saw Kane's face, his face suddenly became distorted.

Kane's name is known to everyone in the human world, and even the Council usually betrays his reputation.

What's more, this time, he came to Harrogath almost as a parliamentary envoy to provide help. Offending him is equivalent to offending the entire Demonic Fortress Council!

Nilasek could not afford to bear this responsibility. He had previously thought that the old man was just a charlatan who came to cheat people out of food and drink!

"Your leader is not an old fool yet. If we were just liars, I'm afraid we wouldn't need you to stop us. We would have been chopped into meat paste and thrown into the abyss behind Harrogas."

Xue Hua also sarcastically said.

He has not forgotten this guy. In the fifth act of the original game, this old bastard was a typical young man.

When the player first arrives, he will issue two tasks to the player, and he will be extremely sarcastic in the tasks he releases, and his tone will be quite arrogant and contemptuous.

But later, when the hell army's attacks on Harrogath became increasingly difficult to resist, this guy's will was easily shaken.

He soon suffered a nervous breakdown, believing that they were waging an unwinnable war.

Then he captured Anya and left her to die in an underground glacier full of monsters.

It is not difficult to see that at that time, he had actually taken refuge in Baal and became a minion of hell.

After rescuing Anya, players will finally fight him in his hidden temple and finally kill him - by the way, this guy is a very powerful necromancer.

Xue Hua didn't have a good impression of him at all, so he didn't show any mercy when he started to mock him.

Unexpectedly, his sarcasm attracted Niracek's attention to him.

The sinister-faced old man immediately turned to look at Xue Hua, and said in a sharp and hoarse voice: "Ah, a necromancer. Although I envy your family's courage to pursue dark magic, do we really need it?

Your skills are so great.

Even if you don't mind your own business, this war will immediately become our victory song. However, I should still expect to see people of your kind at this time.

You're like a moth to a flame - attracted by the abundance of death here. That satisfies you in every way, doesn't it?"

However, as soon as he finished speaking, Qualkek came over from the altar with a slightly annoyed voice.

"Watch your attitude! Elder, this is Xue Hua, the hero who saved King's Harbor and Lugaoin, the recapturer of Kurast Harbor, the liberator of the Skeleton King, and the nemesis of the Demon King!

He is here to help us!"

"provide help?"

A cold, sarcastic smile appeared on Niracek's sinister face.

"With all due respect, your list of titles is intimidating, but after we have lost so many people, who do you think you are, capable of accomplishing what our glorious warriors cannot?"

"You don't have to worry about it now, 'Elder'!" Qualkek interrupted Nilasek very rudely. He held a strange stone sculpture in his right hand and turned to Xue Hua and Kane.

With a wink, he led them towards the city wall without saying a word. (To be continued)
