Chapter 894

Poems and articles are the foundation of Confucianism. When poetry comes out, it has its own extraordinary qualities.

Xue Mushan looked at Wang Xu with satisfaction, his eyes more kind than ever before.

It is not without reason that my disciple is said to be the reincarnation of an ancient sage.

On the day of his apprenticeship, his speech was perfect, his literary spirit was six feet high, his spiritual energy poured in from a radius of hundreds of miles, and his poems became a town, which ordinary Jinshi could not do.

This time it was even better, there was a direct auxiliary poem to encourage students to study, the poem was 100%, and even the carriages and horses in the poem were introduced.

You must know that poetry in the Confucian world has special power, and each poem has a different effect.

Words and phrases in poetry such as sword, knife, soldier, kill, punish, and behead often have unimaginable lethality.

Words and phrases with defense, protection, defense, hiding, traveling, floating, and flying will also give people special effects of blessing protection, flight, and movement.

Wang Xu's poem to encourage learning does not include killing, but it does include words such as thousand catties of millet, golden house, chariots and horses, and Yan Ruyu. It is an excellent auxiliary poem at first glance.

When a classy scholar uses it, it can create a golden house to protect oneself, thousands of pounds of millet that can be eaten, carriages and horses for traveling, or a beauty with red sleeves that add fragrance.

As a contemporary scholar, Xue Mushan could tell at a glance that this poem was stronger than the previous one.

This strength is not about readability, but functionality.

Think about it, what is the effect of a combat team led by a Jinshi who goes deep into the enemy's rear and uses cultural tools to produce a thousand catties of millet when there is no food.

Think about it again, the literati stayed in the mountains and forests at night, and when encountering wind, rain or monsters, they demonstrated the effect of building a golden house to protect themselves.

This poem is simply omnipotent. It accounts for food, carriages and horses, and houses. Moreover, as soon as the article is published, the literary power is six feet and six, and the poem becomes a town. It is more effective than the same type of town-county poems and town-house poems.

One and a half stars.

This strength can be manifested in practice.

For example, for the same summoning of chariots and horses, the chariots and horses summoned by Zhenzhou poems are more comfortable and faster than those summoned by Zhenfu poems and Zhenxian poems.

On the battlefield, being faster means a greater chance of survival, and I don’t know how many lives of soldiers can be saved.

Hiss!!

Two golden horses rushing out of Wen Qi, pulling a golden carriage, stood outside Wang Xu's window and sneezed.

Wang Xu raised his eyes and felt that he was connected with the carriage and could command the carriage like an arm.

Feeling his thoughts, the war horse raised its front hooves and turned into golden light and rushed towards Wang Xu, falling in front of him and forming a golden book.

There are so many chariots and horses in the book

Wang Xu picked up the golden book and read it, and couldn't help but read it, his eyes full of joy.

He could feel that he could rely on this page of the golden book to summon chariots and horses from the book at any time, and when he gained fame and could mobilize his literary spirit, he could summon more than one chariot and horse.

"Teacher, what is this?"

Wang Xu held the gold page and looked at Xue Mushan without knowing why.

Xue Mushan stroked his beard and said with a satisfied smile: "This is a literary treasure embodied in poetry. Only a family with a literary treasure can be called a family of literati. If the golden page is not lost, in the future, your Wang family will have descendants

Don’t worry about running out of chariots and horses, it will always be protected by your royal family.”

Hearing these words, Wang Xu couldn't help but be happy.

This chariot and horses are not just as simple as chariots and horses, they are also very stylish.

In the future, whenever I travel and see this unique carriage, others will know that it is him, Wang Xu, who has arrived, which is more effective than any publicity.

Similarly, anyone who has learned this poem must pay half a teacher's courtesy when they see him.

The reason why Xue Mushan is so famous and has students all over the world is because many of the poems and articles he wrote were studied by scholars in Kyushu. Those who have studied these poems must respect him as half a teacher.

"The value of this poem is more important than you think. I will send a letter to the Confucius Temple and ask them to put this poem in the literary pavilion so that scholars all over the world can learn from it."

Xue Mushan was even happier than Wang Xu. He immediately wrote poems and messages, burned incense and prayed, then put it in the incense burner and lit it.

Wang Xu stood aside and watched, and saw the ignited poems turning into green smoke and drifting into the distance. According to Xue Mushan, it won't be long before the Confucius Temple will receive the news.

"Teacher, I have already written two poems. I wonder what the benefits of writing these poems are?"

After Xue Mushan finished his work, Wang Xu couldn't help but ask.

Xue Mushan looked serious and said in a deep voice: "When scribes write poems, they can gain literary spirit. The rich literary spirit will avoid ghosts and gods, and will not be invaded by any law."

You wrote two Zhenzhou poems one after another, and your literary spirit is so rich that the magic of demons, Buddhas, and Taoists below the third level will not work when they encounter you. In addition, the more works you write, the more you become a great Confucian after becoming a Jinshi.

The better the road goes.

After our Confucian school opened the scientific examination system, all we have to do is pass the examination to become a student, a scholar, a scholar, and a Jinshi. Great Confucianism after the Jinshi needs to be recognized by the Confucius Temple and the people. Without superior poems and articles of sufficient weight, it is impossible.

He might become a great Confucian."

"Teacher, where are the saints?"

A great scholar is comparable to a fifth-level monk. After the great scholar comes the sage, and after the sage comes the saint.

Wang Xu was very curious, how can a sage become a saint? Is it just writing poems and making articles?

"Sage"

Xue Mushan was silent for a while. He had not touched the threshold of a sage, so he could only vaguely say: "A sage wants to publish a book and establish a biography. He can only write a book that can be read by all people, has a subtle meaning, is groundbreaking and guiding, or is a sage's work."

Only those who preface, understand, and interpret the words of the sages can become sages. These are still too far away for you."

The scriptures in Xue Mu Shankou do not refer to the scriptures of monks and Taoists, but generally refer to the Four Books and Five Classics, or classics similar to the Four Books and Five Classics.

When you reach the level of a sage, you can no longer just write an article or a few poems.

It requires dozens of high-quality articles to be combined into a whole, a series, and a theory, and it must be learnable and instructive.

Wang Xu listened carefully and made comparisons secretly.

If he wanted to become a sage, he would have to write at least hundreds of poems and form a complete collection of Wang Xu's poems to become a sage.

Even if you only copy high-quality poems, you still need dozens of high-quality poems. After all, poetry is only a minor path in literature, and the real avenue is articles.

As for becoming a saint, speaking from poetry, the chances of becoming a saint are extremely slim.

Even if he writes to the extreme, the most he can do is Li Bai and pseudo-sages like Du Fu, even if they are worshiped as poetry saints, it is actually difficult for them to achieve great success.

People who can truly be called literary saints can only be those who pioneer ideas and schools.

Among this group of people, the sage Confucius, the sub-sage Mencius, the later sage Xunzi, the sage Zengzi, the sage Shusheng Zisi, the deputy sage Yanzi, the false sage Zhu Xi, Ercheng, Wang Yangming and others have just ignored the word sage.

With Confucius as the leader, everyone has their own academic books, schools, thoughts, and opinions, and all of them have achieved such achievements.

After talking a few words about the way of saints, Xue Mushan was very happy and continued: "During this period, you have to study hard with me. You are quite talented in poetry, but poetry is just a small way. The real road lies in the Four Books.

Among the Five Classics.

Half a month ago, the chief minister of the cabinet and the leader of the Cold Party, Mr. Yan Ge, had asked to retire and return to his hometown. According to the traditional rules, after three requests, the current emperor could not retain him, and he would have to return to Beijing to serve as a teacher in a year at most.

Although I have my heart to take you with me, there is so much chaos in the court that I can't take care of you in a short period of time. I can only entrust you to the care of my old friend. Therefore, in the next period of time, you can focus on your studies.

, it can be as short as half a year, or as long as one year. If you don’t want to be a teacher, you have to leave. It’s up to you how much you learn.”

Wang Xu asked about the court affairs before, but Xue Mushan did not answer.

At this time, he didn't know whether Wang Xu's performance made him very satisfied, or whether it was just a delay because he didn't say anything before, but he patiently explained it to Wang Xu.

When Wang Xu heard this, his heart moved slightly, and he said: "Congratulations to the teacher, the teacher has a big heart, and he can finally show his ambition. However, I would like to ask boldly, how will the court arrange for you after you enter the court?"

"This is it"

Xue Mushan paused slightly and said, "Don't spread the word. If nothing happens, I will take over as the cabinet's assistant. Now we just wait for the opportunity."

"Choose an assistant!"

Wang Xu sighed in his heart. It turned out that he was not the second assistant. No wonder the teacher seemed so happy.

At Xue Mushan's age, if he can take over as the second minister of the cabinet and become the second-in-command of the imperial court, he will still have the opportunity to take charge of the cabinet in the future.

Although the third-in-command selection is better than the last five, who act as a yes-man, the chief executive is still only as strong as he is limited.

In this position, if something is done well, the credit belongs to the chief assistant.

If you don't do well, you are responsible for it, and there is a secondary assistant in front of you. If you sit on it, you basically can't move.

In this way, ten years later, when I am proud of myself, it should be the time for Xue Mushan to retire and return to his hometown.

According to Wang Xu's arrangements for him, ten years later, he will definitely become a high school Jinshi.

At that time, if Xue Mushan retired and returned to his hometown, there would be a shortage of people in the court who could help him, and he did not plan to become an official in the court, so he would have to cut off contact with the court.

Of course, now that I think about it, seriously, no one can say for sure what will happen ten years from now.

Isn't he just the chief minister of the cabinet? He made Wang Xu anxious and cheated on the teacher, hoping to see his teacher succeed. I really don't believe this evil.
