Without saying a few words, a golden light shot into the sky from the West Lake, fell to the ground, and turned into a soldier wearing a strong armor.
The leader is wearing golden armor and a golden helmet, holding two silver hammers, with whiskers at the corners of his mouth, and a head similar to that of a catfish.
Behind General Catfish stood the patrolling Yaksha whom Wang Xu had seen, and thousands of armored soldiers. Flags were fluttering, and the military formation was heavily guarded. At first glance, he could feel the intent of killing.
"General Catfish!"
In the Pearl Tower, the Seventh Princess trotted out under the protection of her maid.
Seeing that the seventh princess was fine, General Catfish breathed a sigh of relief and said, "Your Highness, are you okay?"
The seventh princess shook her head slightly. The demon pretending to be Yuan Rushi was concerned about her identity and did not embarrass her. This time it was a near miss.
However, the seventh princess still had lingering fears. If it weren't for the fact that the demons were worried about the Dragon Palace chasing her at the edge of the West Lake, I'm afraid she wouldn't have been able to escape today.
Thinking of the demon who pretended to be Yuan Rushi and deceived even herself, the Seventh Princess thought of the critical moment and blocked the exit with a golden house, leaving Wang Xu alone as a bait and escaping alone.
If the Seventh Princess hates the demon pretending to be Yuan Rushi, she hates Wang Xu at least 70%.
It was obvious that she was about to escape, but who would have thought that Wang Xu, who escaped first, would actually turn around and block the exit, leaving her to distract the demon.
Cruel, so cruel. No wonder my mother said that a scholar kills without a knife. This trick of abandoning the car to protect the handsome man is really good.
If it weren't for the fact that the target of the demon wasn't her, and he was wary and didn't dare to attack her, wouldn't he have already lost his favor at this time?
"Wang, are you a man? Not only did you leave me and run away, but you also blocked the exit. You are truly a talented man with a good reputation, and your heart is more poisonous than snakes and scorpions. We are not done with this matter."
After the crisis was over, old and new grudges were added together, and the seventh princess looked at Wang Xu fiercely, wishing to bite his ears off.
Wang Xu knew that he was in the wrong and did not say a word when faced with the seventh princess's questioning.
He admitted that he was not very particular about what he did, but there was nothing he could do about it. The demon pretending to be Yuan Rushi was simply not something he could fight against. Was that the time to show off as a hero?
A dead Taoist friend is not a poor Taoist, and he is not the great and upright man who sacrifices himself for others in the novel, so how can he stay and wait for death.
As for blocking the exit and leaving the Seventh Princess inside as bait, he didn't want to argue, and he had no way to argue, because that was the only way he could think of to stop the demon under the circumstances at that time.
In that case, even if the seventh princess can only delay for a second or two, she can still buy Wang Xu a second or two to escape. Sometimes life and death are just a matter of thoughts, so we must pay attention.
If there was anything wrong, from his perspective, he didn't want to come to today's banquet. He was forced to come.
He provoked whomever, and the seventh princess looked resentful, as if it was all his fault. Why didn't he think that if she hadn't interfered with it, Wang Xu was still in the Dragon Palace, reading leisurely, how could there be such nonsense.
If you do your own evil, you will not live.
When things have developed to this point, it is basically the Seventh Princess who is seeking her own death. Wang Xu does not dare to throw away the blame, but he cannot bear all the blame.
It's okay now, it's all his fault. Wang Xu really wants to ask, if we all fly away when disaster strikes, what's the mistake?
From different perspectives, one thing has different understandings.
His character would not allow him to sacrifice his life to resist the demon at that juncture and let the Seventh Princess go first.
He is not that great, nor is he that selfless. He is not a savior and cannot save people seeking death.
However, the Seventh Princess will not listen to these words, and it is estimated that the West Lake Dragon Palace will not listen either. When things have reached this point, it is difficult to recover. He cannot go back to the West Lake Dragon Palace. If he insists on going back, the truth may be found out and he will be furious.
The West Lake Dragon Lord struck him to death with one palm.
"Man is not as good as God. In my plan, things should not be like this. What happened today can only be said to be a fate. Seventh Princess, I don't want to explain the right and wrong here, and neither can you."
If you want to hear it, that’s all. Since this is the end of our relationship, we can never see each other again.”
Wang Xu knew that he could not return to the West Lake Dragon Palace. In order to avoid being settled by his wife, he quickly said to Fahai: "Little monk, let's go. We are not welcome here anymore."
"Why don't you go back?" Fahai asked in return.
"It's better to go back." Wang Xu nodded gently, his eyes full of helplessness.
He had no choice but to feel helpless. Tomorrow was the Chinese Valentine's Day Poetry Festival, and the plan was about to come to fruition. After this, who could be more depressed than him.
Life is like this with its ups and downs, destiny is like this, no matter what, let's go, leave early and save worry.
Wang Xu took Fahai away. The seventh princess was flustered at this time, but she did not expect to hold him responsible.
The Seventh Princess doesn't speak, and General Catfish won't make any decisions on his own. What happens in the future will have to be reported to Lord Minglong before he can make any calculations.
"Your things are still in the West Lake Dragon Palace, right? You don't want them anymore?"
After walking two streets, Fa Hai couldn't help himself and spoke first.
Wang Xu smiled bitterly and asked: "I do want it, but if I go back and I am detained by the West Lake Dragon Lord, can you take me out and beat him out?"
"How is that possible!"
Fahai replied without thinking: "There are so many masters in the West Lake Dragon Palace. I can't break through the formation alone, let alone take you with me."
"It's over now. Let's put it there for now. Let the West Lake Dragon Palace keep it for me for the time being. When I'm not afraid of them anymore, I'll go back and get it."
Wang Xu didn't care about the other things, but Yuan Bao was still in the Dragon Palace, and he couldn't give it up no matter what.
However, it is a bit early to say this now. Before the great scholar, in the eyes of West Lake Dragon Palace, I was probably just a plate of bean sprouts.
If you want to return to the Dragon Palace, or even take the Yuan Bao away, you must at least have a great Confucian cultivation and be able to compete with the Dragon Lord of West Lake.
"Let's not talk about me, but you. Your strength is growing a bit fast. Even if you are the reincarnation of a high monk, you can't reach the Arhat realm in a blink of an eye, right?"
Wang Xu looked Fahai up and down. Fahai was two years older than him. His real age this year should be nineteen.
A nineteen-year-old quasi-fifth-level person can kill even his first-level opponents. Are you kidding me?
"My lineage is different from ordinary Buddhist cultivators. It talks about the word "enlightenment". Everything in the world is just a passing cloud. Once you realize it, you will have it. I have awakened some memories of past lives. It is easy to rebuild my magic power. What is difficult is how to break it.
Then stand up and get to the next level."
With a smile on his face and a solemn appearance, Fahai really has the demeanor of an enlightened monk.
What Wang Xu cared about was not this, but the past life memories mentioned by Fa Hai.
Just by awakening some memories of his past life, he has attained a quasi-fifth level of cultivation. It seems that Fahai's past life was not simple.
Sixth level, or fifth level, it won't get any lower.
The fifth level is more likely, because in Buddhism in this world, the Buddha is the seventh level, the Bodhisattva is the sixth, and the Arhat is the fifth.
In Fahai's mantra, he recited the mighty heavenly dragon, World Honored Ksitigarbha, and cast the spell in the name of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva.
From this we can see that Fa Hai cannot be in the Bodhisattva realm, but should be from the Ksitigarbha lineage, a top master in the fifth level.
Although the Confucian world is not the orthodox world of cultivating immortals, there are many places that are comparable to the world of cultivating immortals.
For example, the Buddhist sage here is called Sakyamuni, the Taoist sage is called Li Er, and the literary sage is called Confucius. There are prototype figures in history.
And under the Literary Sage, there are seventy-two sages and three thousand great Confucians.
In Buddhism, there are four great Bodhisattvas since the Buddha, representing the four lines of Buddhism.
It's just that unlike Confucianism, the path of cultivation of Buddhism and Taoism is more focused on the pursuit of immortality.
When you reach the realm of Bodhisattva, you will rarely die unless you suffer calamity, and your longevity will be about the same as in heaven.
Fahai was one of the first people to join the Buddhist reincarnation plan and became a crab-eater. He must be a high-ranking person in the Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva lineage who can speak to him.
You must know that before the God-Creation Plan and the Underworld Plan, there were no gods or reincarnation in the Confucian world.
God is just a general term, a summary of existence that cannot be explained or understood.
Monks are human beings, and those who fly to the sky and escape from the earth are also human beings. They are not gods, let alone immortals. Reincarnation is the ignorance of the people. The deceptive rhetoric of Buddhism is just like there is no paradise, they are all lies.
If the two religions want to justify themselves and establish the foundation of the religion, they will naturally have to plug these two shortcomings.
I'm afraid that once the underworld comes out, the so-called Paradise is not far away. Good men and good women will suffer in this life, and in the next life they will be promoted to Paradise and enjoy happiness. After all, they will no longer be like the mirror.
Affected by this, the strength of the two religions will be greatly increased, and then the three religions will rise together, and a hundred schools of thought will contend.
