Chapter 2913 Jishen

These letters will be his stepping stones and pave the way for him. Otherwise, if he, a foreign monk, lectures rashly, not many people will listen. Otherwise, even if he shows magical powers everywhere he goes, he will be scolded as a monster monk.

Buddhism emphasizes compassion and compassion, but when it comes to the battle over the Dharma lineage, it is extremely cruel. It is a matter of life and death, and no mercy is allowed. This is related to merit and belief, and is more important than life.

He only teaches the Diamond Sutra in order to prevent this situation. The Diamond Sutra is an important Buddhist scripture and is practiced by almost all sects. When he teaches this Sutra, he will not touch on sensitive areas or get involved in sectarian disputes.

In this era where martial arts is not used, there are not no battles, especially the battles within Buddhism are even more severe, and there are endless battles over the dharma lineage.

"Master, it's hard work for you to lecture. Let's have a good rest. I'll go back and write a letter." Monk Xuye titheed and left the monastery.

Chu Li sent him away, and after returning to the small courtyard, he began to think about spiritual energy.

The spiritual energy around him was lively and agile, rich and pure. Unfortunately, it could not be converted into internal energy and could only be watched. However, these spiritual energy did nourish the body, and he could feel it, making his body lighter.

In particular, his body is a soul lotus body, and after being transformed by so many magical arts, it has become more sensitive and agile, as if it is integrated with the surrounding aura and dances with the aura.

He has a strong spirit and is invincible in the world, but he still cannot activate his spiritual energy, as if mist hits a stone.

When he thought about it, he already knew what was going on. He and the two women returned to the Demon-Suppressing Hall, and then began to travel around the world, killing several big bandits and accumulating merit.

He suddenly realized something and smiled.

As he killed several big bandits, his merits increased again. More importantly, the merits accumulated in the next realm were transferred to this realm, and his merits in this realm also increased.

The round light behind his head became brighter and fuller, which made him overjoyed.

If he was previously hopeless and unable to ascend, now he has a glimmer of hope. The merits accumulated in the two worlds, coupled with the fact that the merits in the next world are easier to obtain, greatly increase his hope.

In the early morning of the next day, he got up early, holding a Buddhist scripture and reading it, trying to understand the difference between the Buddhist scriptures in the two worlds.

The Buddhist scriptures in both worlds are the same. He even found that the Buddhist scriptures in several worlds have not changed, but the people who read the scriptures have different ideas. Everyone sees the same Buddhist scripture differently.

There were footsteps outside, and a young novice stood outside the courtyard and whispered: "Master Dingru, Master Xuye has invited me."

Chu Li nodded, stood up, put down the Buddhist scriptures, and came to a large hall next to the Main Hall.

The monks in Baoen Temple are doing morning prayers in the Main Hall. The sound of Sanskrit sounds is endless, solemn and fragrant.

The main hall next to the Main Hall is the Jialan Hall. There are two old monks sitting in it, one is monk Xuye, and the other is an old monk who is not angry and self-respecting. His eyes are bright, his thick eyebrows are raised, and he has a strong evil spirit.

When Chu Li entered the hall, Monk Xu Ye stood up and said, "Master Dingru, this is Master Ji Shen from Lingyin Temple."

What is Chu Lihe?

Monk Jishen stood up and said slowly: "I came here because of my reputation!"

Chu Li smiled and said: "My meager reputation is not worth mentioning, but Master Ji Shen is like thunder!"

Monk Jishen's eyes were as sharp as lightning, staring at him, as if he wanted to see through everything about him, and said in a deep voice: "I wonder where the master comes from?"

"Come from the same place." Chu Li smiled.

"Where do you want to go?" Monk Jishen asked.

Chu Li smiled: "Leave to the west sky."

"Amitabha!" Monk Jishen said solemnly: "It seems that the master has no great masters."

Chu Li nodded and said: "My master has been practicing in the mountains all his life. He realized that practicing after leaving this world is not the true Dharma. He suffered deeply, so he asked the young monk to come to the mortal world to experience the ordinary mind."

"Excellent!" Monk Jishen nodded slowly and said, "Only when the world of mortals refines one's heart can it be true. Your master does have true knowledge and insight. The master has great magical powers, but I want to learn a thing or two."

Chu Li smiled and put his hand on Monk Jishen's shoulder: "The young monk is about to pay homage to Lingyin Temple!"

After he said that, he put his other hand on Monk Xuye.

The three of them disappeared in a flash, and the next moment they appeared in front of a Buddhist temple halfway up the mountain.

The red walls and yellow tiles of the Buddhist temple are mottled and reveal the vicissitudes of life. They have experienced a long time. Especially the towering ancient tree in front of the temple, with about five or six people hugging it, stands proudly and vigorously, with branches like dragons.

Hanging on the vicissitudes of the courtyard gate is a long golden plaque with the three characters "Lingyin Temple" written on it. It is vigorous and clumsy, blending in perfectly with the surrounding ancient trees, and also reveals a bit of tranquility and indifference.

Monk Xu Ye and Monk Jishen looked at Lingyin Temple and then at Chu Li.

"Shen Zu Tong?" Monk Xuye asked.

Chu Li smiled and nodded: "It's just a small magical power."

"Although supernatural power is a small path and a door to enter the devil, it is also the manifestation of the passion of cultivation." Monk Jishen said slowly: "It seems that Master Dingru's cultivation is indeed advanced, and I am ashamed of myself."

In this world, spiritual energy is abundant and pure, but it cannot be used by people. Therefore, although people's bodies have long lifespans, it is difficult to change. It is also more difficult to cultivate magical powers. It is also difficult for eminent monks and great virtues to develop magical powers.

This is due to the differences in the world. No matter how deep you practice, it is difficult to develop supernatural powers.

Chu Li is young but has already developed magical powers. He is obviously Su Hui. Maybe some Bodhisattva and Buddha came with the wish, which made Monk Jishen, who originally wanted to come and examine him critically, change his mind.

Monk Xuye smiled and said, "How about Ji Shen?"

Monk Jishen nodded and said in a deep voice: "He is indeed an eminent monk,...well, I can write letters!"

Chu Li raised his eyebrows and looked at Monk Xuye.

Monk Xu Ye smiled and said: "I have extensive communication, but it is still far behind Master Jishen. Master Jishen's Lingyin Temple lineage is a truly prominent sect, with a long lineage of Dharma, and Lingyin Temple disciples all over the world.

"

"Reputation is something that weighs on the heart." Monk Jishen shook his head and said, "It's not enough to rely on."

Chu Li smiled and gave a tithe: "Thank you, Master Ji Shen."

"There is a master named Lao Na in Lingyin Temple in the capital, but there are so many eminent Buddhist monks in the capital. Even if you, Master Dingru, have magical powers, you may not be able to overpower your peers and stand proudly above all the monks." Monk Jishen said.

Chu Li said with a smile: "How can you not wallow in fame and fortune with all your experience in the world of mortals? Let's take a look at it. Being able to learn from eminent monks, gain wisdom, and understand the Buddha's Dharma is also a supreme good thing."

"That's good." Monk Jishen said slowly: "In addition to the Buddhist sects, we must also be careful of the demonic sects!"

Chu Li was surprised.

There are still demon sects in this world? Isn’t that why we can’t use force?

Monk Jishen said solemnly: "The teachings of the Demon Sect are even more tempting. There are so many followers in the world, such as the Tianxing Sect and the Yunhai Sect. They are all covered in Buddhist dharma. What they practice is evil, but there are so many believers."

Chu Li said thoughtfully: "Can they also cultivate magical powers?"

"Exactly." Monk Jishen frowned and said, "This is exactly what is scary about them. Their magical powers are alluring. People in the world are so ignorant. When they see magical powers, they think they are Buddhas. Don't you know that they are thousands of miles away?"
