Chapter 377: Wagyu, Bright Bull

Chen Mo covered his forehead: "Stop talking, take me in and see what my little niece looks like."

"My daughter looks like me and is very beautiful." Bai Xiaoou said with a smile.

"Looks like you...then it's over." Chen Mo laughed.

"Fuck you. It's so cute to look like me, kawaii."

"Pfft..." Chen Mo almost spat out blood.

Entering the college, there is a Chinese-style pavilion, where Jennifer is guarding a pink stroller. Chen Mo's parents, and Zhang Xia are all there...

"Dad, Mom, Uncle Zhang..." Chen Mo called each other again before walking to the stroller with a smile: "Baixue?"

The chubby little girl opened her big black eyes and looked at Chen Mo curiously... quite cute.

Bai Xiaoou was also busy greeting other guests.

Chen Mo hugged Bai Xue, put it down, looked around, and prepared to walk around.

The tbl Chef Academy is well built and cost over 100 million US dollars.

Father Chen quickly caught up: "Chen Xiao and Ai Li didn't come over?"

"They went to Hainan and picked out a few villas. When we have nothing to do in the future, our family can go to Hainan for vacation." Chen Mo said.

"Just vacation in Hawaii. The scenery over at the lovely ranch is very good..."

"I grew up playing in Hawaii." Chen Mo said something about his time in Hawaii with a wry smile: "So much work, it's too tedious. All of it, I simply sold it together with the ranch."

Father Chen shook his head: "You tell me, isn't this just a fool's errand? If you lose, you still make a profit..."

"I will definitely make a profit. If I lose money, I won't sell it."

"Just make money. It's the New Year. Are you going to go back to your hometown to celebrate the New Year?"

"Well... I'm going back to my hometown. Ellie and I are going to get our marriage certificate and then go to Hainan."

Father Chen laughed: "Ellie is a good girl. She has also made you so much money, so treat her well."

Chen Mo looked resentful: "I know."

After dinner here, Chen Mo asked Bai Xiaoou and Luo Chen to come over to fight with the landlord. Dougson came over with a smile: "Mo, Bai, Luo."

"Hey, I didn't see you when we were eating just now. Where have you been?" Chen Mo said.

"I just came back from New York." Dougson moved a stool and sat next to Chen Mo: "There are more than 600 Bright cattle in the Valley Ranch. You are not afraid of getting them all on your hands..."

"It's just a waste of money. It doesn't cost much anyway." Chen Mo said and showed a hand of planes that neither Bai Xiaoou nor Luo Chen could afford: "Four 2nds and double kings, spring."

"Can you not be so showy..."

Chen Mo won and it was his turn to deal the cards.

While dealing the cards, Chen Mo said: "500 days of grain feeding is still early. Beef cattle that drink red wine have more tender meat. They should be able to melt in your mouth after 800 days of grain feeding."

The price of beef from Bright cattle is still too low.

According to the previous way of raising Tomahawk steaks, the Bright cattle produced are actually not cost-effective.

The grade of beef determines the price of beef. For Brett cows that produce battle steak, the battle steak part is valuable, and other parts are cheap. When raising fattened cattle, the tomahawk steak part is also of good quality...the other parts of the meat are also very good.

Refer to the grading of Wagyu beef...

Wagyu is not a fixed breed of cattle.

The breed level of Wagyu beef is divided into three levels: a, b, and c.

Grade A means the beef comes from pure-blooded Kobe Wagyu beef.

Grade B represents Kobe Wagyu from mixed blood.

Grade C represents cattle breeds from other countries, such as Angus cattle and Holstein cattle. This can also be called Wagyu...it's amazing, isn't it?

But that’s the reality. Some beef labeled as Wagyu beef is actually grain-fed Angus beef, but graded using the Wagyu beef classification method.

Bright beef adopts the meat quality classification standard of TBL Catering Association.

Divided into a, b, c, d, e, f.

According to the new classification standard, each level corresponds to ‘+’ and ‘-’.

‘+’ represents the Green Meat Association, which means the use of hormones and drugs is strictly controlled during the breeding process, and the meat produced contains almost no hormone components.

‘-’ means using hormones and drugs, but the drug dosage is within the prescribed range.

The specific grade classification also refers to the snowflake pattern of beef.

Grade B, the snowflake pattern is almost equivalent to Grade A5 Wagyu.

As for Grade A, regardless of the snowflake pattern or meat color, it can be clearly seen that it is one level higher... Under the new grade system, Valley Ranch has not yet produced beef of this grade.

You should know that Japanese Wagyu beef is not prohibited from eating hormones, so it is much easier to compost the meat. But even so, the output of A4 and A5 grade Wagyu beef is still very small, especially the A5 grade Wagyu beef, which often costs hundreds of dollars per pound.

Top grade A5 Wagyu beef can be sold for more than one thousand or even more than two thousand dollars per pound.

A5 grade is the highest grade of Wagyu beef, but there are cases where the grades of both A5 grade Wagyu beef are quite different.

Top-grade A5 Wagyu beef is almost the grade of A-grade Bright beef...

But Bright cattle are raised with mixed grass, and antibiotics and other drugs are stopped when they are four months old, let alone the use of hormones...

Among the Bright cattle that have been raised for more than 400 days, only a few parts of the cattle can meet the B-grade standard. There are not many C-grade cattle, and more are D-grade and E-grade.

The price of Bright cattle has actually remained unchanged from before.

Slaughtering Bright cattle with good meat quality can cost between 40,000 and 50,000 US dollars per cow. Those with poor meat quality can cost over 10,000 US dollars... This is already a very high price. Compared with Japan's A-grade Wagyu beef

Not bad at all...

Chen Mo likes money, but he is not a person who is all about money... Well, that's just the kind of person he is.

Just because Bright cattle are expensive, Chen Mo needs to better control the quality of the beef produced. At the same time, he is also doing hunger marketing...

The Bright cattle at Valley Pasture are also being put to slaughter, with one being put out every day, or one every two or three days.

Chen Mo has his own plan here.

Dougson operates the River Valley Company, which now has six restaurants, three of which are certified by Michelin with three stars, and three more, which are respectively two stars, one star, and no certification.

There are 6 restaurants, the smallest one has only 12 seats, but the investment is nearly one million US dollars.

All are high-end restaurants.

All over the United States...I should say the world, there are only six restaurants where you can taste Brett Beef, that is, these six restaurants of River Valley Company. Brett Beef Tomahawk Steak has long been an internet celebrity delicacy in the United States, and is available in several restaurants.

You can put your meal reservations on the Internet for auction, and there are still people buying them.

The hunger marketing program was undoubtedly a success.

In the restaurants owned by River Valley, the starting price of each Bright Beef Tomahawk Steak is US$950. The specific price depends on the quality of the meat. The most expensive one can cost more than two thousand US dollars... and the weight of a Tomahawk Steak,

At least 3 pounds or more, enough for two people, or three people to enjoy together. People who have eaten the Bright Beef Tomahawk Steak have given it high praise...

Seeing Chen Mo continue to deal the cards, Dougson became a little depressed: "A company on Wall Street held a celebration party, booked our restaurant in Long Island, and asked for 200 Brett Beef Tomahawk Steaks. They offered one that I couldn't refuse.

The price…”

200 copies, according to the online reservation price, will cost more than 300,000 yuan.

A price that Dougson couldn't refuse...

"Okay. You can contact Moxi back and we will allocate 100 cows to you first. Bright cows are so expensive because they are rare. Take it easy."

Moxi spread his hands: "You underestimate the River Valley Company. This month, in addition to selling Bright beef, River Valley's restaurants also purchased 1,000 pounds of SRF | Wagyu beef and 3,000 pounds of Gold Label Wagyu beef."

Chen Mo smiled: "You can do whatever you want, just don't mess up the Bright Cow brand."

No matter how bad the market economy is, rich people are still rich and still have high spending power. But the price of Bright cattle is still too expensive.

The most expensive part is the tomahawk steak, but other parts are fine. For example, B-grade Frost Beef costs just over a hundred dollars per pound, which is equivalent to A5-grade Wagyu... and C-grade Snow Beef,

The price is much cheaper again...
