Chapter fifty-ninth

On the high stone ceiling of the hall, four thick black iron chains hang. These four iron chains extend from the four corners and are cast together in the center of the ceiling. Where the iron chains meet, there is a ferocious look.

Some kind of metal structure like ghost claws. These claw-like twisted metals formed a cage, firmly grasping a black crystal that seemed to be more than one meter long.

Just as Vivian described it: half a meter to one meter in length, slender and irregular in shape, with a black texture like smoked glass, and a faint red light can be seen at one end of the crystal.

When the three of them rushed in before, they had no time to care about what was hanging on the roof of the hall. Lily looked up and took a look, but the werewolf girl didn't recognize this thing and thought it was just an ordinary decoration. But now she and Hao

Rendu already knows what this is: the Demon Stone.

Hao Ren felt his data terminal vibrate, and then a flat and emotionless voice sounded in his mind: "This machine is really sad..." "Haha, shut up."

"It can't be so unlucky..." Lily immediately sat down on the ground, and after thinking about it, she said the same thing, "I'm just a little wolf, I haven't even talked to a partner yet..."

"Don't make trouble," Hao Ren reached out and knocked Lily on the head, "It's just a stone now! It may not turn the devil..."

Vivian's salty voice came from the side: "Why do you think the defenses in the underground palace suddenly activated? And why did all those armors wake up?"

Hao Ren suddenly sweated on his forehead: Needless to say, there is obviously movement in the Devil's Stone!

"Do you think my mission has encountered a huge crisis that is beyond human control?" Hao Ren finally remembered that he had a backend, and called his data terminal in his mind, "I am requesting support at this time.

is that OK?"

"It's not yet time, and you're asking for support without even seeing the real enemy? You don't think it's embarrassing."

Hao Ren immediately jumped on his feet and cursed: "Then do you really wait until I'm about to be beaten to death before you can ask for support?!"

"My employees at the Greater Space-Time Administration basically only ask for support when they are about to be beaten to death."

Hao Ren almost fainted after his breath got stuck in his bronchus, but what happened next made him know that he must not faint, because something more exciting had just begun: a low rumbling sound came faintly from directly above.

Come, and then he felt the entire underground hall begin to shake!

Countless amounts of dust and gravel fell from the disrepaired rock ceiling like rain. Before the rumble ended, the hall began to hear heart-shaking sounds of rock cracking and friction, and everything around it was shaking.

It started to shake, and the four huge iron chains above the head also started to "creak and creak", and the black iron claws that were fixed to the Demon Stone and seemed to be very strong were pulled by the four heavy chains...

...can you believe that one root after another has been loosened?!

The moment the underground hall started shaking, Hao Ren had the urge to run out. At least he could stay in a corner and survive. But when he saw the movement of the pile of chains on the roof, he ran away.

They all forgot to run. Including Vivian and Lily, the sights of the three people were firmly fixed on the devil's stone hanging above their heads at that moment. The small stone seemed to be directly tied to everyone's heart.

Every time it swayed, people's hearts twitched. However, even Vivian didn't dare to fly over to catch the thing. They could only watch the black iron claws fixing the Demon Stone moving at a speed visible to the naked eye.

Slowly loosen it, and then the first iron chain finally can no longer support the stagnation accumulated by hundreds of years of weathering, and breaks off from the intersection of the four iron chains with a "crash" sound...

The heavy iron chain silently slid through an arc in the air, and in the eyes of the three of them, it seemed like it hit the stone wall in the corner of the hall in slow motion, and finally made a deafening sound: Bang——

The black iron claws that fixed the Devil's Stone also fell apart under the action of this last straw. With the collapse of all the chains, the one-meter-long black crystal finally fell down and emitted a dazzling red light the moment it touched the ground.

Light.

Hao Ren had a thousand words in his heart that could be condensed into one sentence: So when making such a crucial thing, you still pay attention to the Gothic aesthetics of wool! It's all used to fix the devil's stone, just make it stupid and thick.

Will an iron cage kill you?! What bastard designer made those black claws that look dangling!

"Run!" The fluff on Lily's ears and tail exploded the moment the Devil's Stone hit the ground, and then she screamed and rushed to the nearest passage. However, just as she started, a red halo appeared with the Devil's Stone.

The stone spread out in all directions, sweeping across the entire hall in the blink of an eye. Hao Ren saw countless Laita runes suddenly appearing on the walls of the hall. However, within a moment, these ancient runes dimmed one by one.

, there were bursts of cracking sounds like glass breaking from all directions.

The seal of the Devil's Chamber only lasted for a few seconds before it was completely destroyed!

And when these Laita runes shattered and dissipated one by one, Hao Ren heard the familiar sound again: clatter, clatter...

In addition to the passage that had completely collapsed and blocked, there were three exits in the hall, and now the sound of armors scraping and colliding was coming from those exits. Lily only had time to run out a few meters before she stopped abruptly:

Countless pairs of blood-red red lights emerged from the darkness, and a more terrifying number of armored undead than before were staggering into the hall from three directions!

When the runes in the Demonic Chamber expire, these undead guards can also enter the chamber.

And the undead armors that appeared this time were obviously different from before: they were wrapped with layers of vague gray mist, and the red light that served as eyes behind the helmets and visors was brighter. Apparently, the power of the Demon Stone had affected them.

The guards in this underground palace - just as Vivian said, these armored heroic souls are known as sacred guardians, but in essence they are still vengeful spirits driven by obsession. The technology used to cast them is inextricably linked to the devil.

Originally, there would be no problems when the underground palace seal was intact, but now that the Demon Stone is completely out of control, these guards have turned into another disaster in the blink of an eye.

"Those demon hunters seeking death." Vivian cursed angrily, but before she could take action, there was another rumbling sound above the hall that was louder than before!

More earth, stone and gravel collapsed from the four corners of the hall, and a huge stone slab even broke away from the ceiling and hit Lily without any bias. When the werewolf girl heard the wind, she didn't even have time to look up. A vicious dog pounced on her.

She threw herself to the side and finally narrowly avoided the fatal blow - but the slate still caught her tail slightly, and Hao Ren only heard the scream of a dog whose tail was stepped on, echoing around.

"What's going on up here?" Hao Ren felt that the continuous rumbling sounds were not like a normal collapse of the underground palace, but rather like an explosion. "Why does it sound like a bomb to me?"

As soon as he finished speaking, he heard a cracking sound coming from the roof in the center of the hall, followed by a large pile of slates and soil falling. After a cloud of dust, the clear moonlight appeared in front of the three people:

A big hole was opened in the center of the hall.

This earth-shattering movement seemed to frighten the tin cans around. It may also be that the sudden moonlight that fell in caused these guards to fall into confusion. In short, all the hollow armors stopped moving in a short time, and Hao

Ren and the three of them also took advantage of this gap to cast their eyes on the big hole in the center of the hall: What's going on with this sudden hole? And it leads directly to the ground?

"Can we go up this time?" Lily grinned and jumped to Hao Ren's side, her tail twitching and trembling. She looked at the hole above the hall, her golden eyes full of curiosity.

"Wait a minute, the situation is weird." Vivian used strong wind to blow away the dust in front of her eyes, and waved her hand to signal Lily not to act rashly. At the same time, Hao Ren saw a rope suddenly hanging down from the big hole.

What happened next made him want to curse.

The "Demon Hunter" Nangong slid down the rope...
