Chapter 18 The blood of the kingdom

Accident - Thales lowered his head, feeling a deep helplessness in his heart - Accidents always come suddenly.

At that moment, Thales seemed to see the Qi Magic Master's undistinguished smile emerging in his mind, and said to him: "Look, this is just an accident."

Yoder silently took back the fire.

The middle-aged noble calmed down his excitement. He looked at Thales and patted his head gently.

"Kid, it's okay."

"I am Gilbert Castle. You can trust me, just like your father trusts me."

"Come on, kid, I'll take you home."

"Go see your father."

Thales calmed down for a full minute.

During this period, both Yodel and Gilbert were patiently waiting for him.

"Let's go." Thales raised his head, his eyes already calm.

Gilbert nodded, with approval in his eyes. He stood up and stretched out his hand in the direction of the carriage.

Thales turned his head and looked at Yoder:

"Yordel, you will follow me, right?"

"Of course," Yoder's hoarse voice sounded, which sounded extremely reassuring to Thales's ears at this moment: "Please go ahead, I will be by your side."

Thales took a deep breath and strode towards the carriage.

"Mr. Gilbert."

"Yes, young sir, what are your orders?"

"What did you do before?"

"Foreign Affairs, my little sir."

Foreign affairs?

Thales turned his head slightly, and rolled his eyes at Yoder behind him from an angle that Gilbert couldn't see.

Thales turned his head.

For some reason, he vaguely felt that Yoder seemed to be smiling behind the mask.

Thales arrived at the carriage. It was a simple but expensive carriage at first glance. The glass on the black carriage door was decorated with asphalt.

Two tall horses with pure black fur were chewing their bits quietly, and one of them approached Gilbert intimately.

Looking at the high pedals, Talsby measured the height of his seven-year-old child, feeling a little worried.

But before he could turn his head, Gilbert beside him opened the car door, took him in, and placed him on the dark red sofa in the car.

"I'm sorry, there is no boarding stool." Gilbert smiled apologetically and closed the carriage door.

"But I promise this is the last time."

Thales was sitting alone on a wide sofa. The sofa was made of who knows what material. Although it was very comfortable, he felt a little restless.

There were luminous paint illumination on the four corners of the carriage, and he could barely see the decoration in the carriage clearly. At the rear of the carriage, he saw a star pattern framed in a circle, firmly inlaid on it.

One, two, three, four, five...nine, nine-pointed stars.

Thales thought silently: This is a nine-pointed star.

Before he could recover, the carriage started.

Thales climbed to the car window. It was dark and bright, and the scenery outside the car window was still unclear.

So Thales sat back on the sofa boredly.

"Yodele, are you there?" he asked tentatively.

A reply came immediately to my ears:

"yes."

Thales was startled, stood up and looked around, but there was no one inside or outside the car except Gilbert who was driving the car.

Forget it, I'm used to it anyway.

Thales sat back on the sofa and continued to ask: "Where are we?"

"Ahead is the Mindis Hall." The hoarse voice came again.

Min—Min—Min Di—Min Fourth?

Forget it, I don’t know him anyway.

Who would have thought that a few hours ago, he was bleeding for survival in an abandoned house and injured trying to escape on Red Square Street, and now?

Thales patted the sofa under his butt, wondering who his father was in this life.

No matter what, soldiers will stop me, water will cover me, and I have even encountered strange immortal beings like magic masters. What else can scare me?

The time traveler exhaled, feeling a little warm, and pulled off the tattered clothes on his chest.

I accidentally touched the wound on my chest.

Thales hissed and looked at the burns on his chest.

At the edge of the wound branded by Quaid, a circle of ancient patterned characters printed backwards seemed to be faintly visible.

This is - kings are not respected by blood - Thales thought of the words on the silver coin.

He suddenly slapped his forehead.

Mindis – Mindis silver coin?

Isn't that, isn't that a wise king of the Kingdom of Stars?

Wait, Mindis Hall?

The carriage suddenly stopped.

Thales was still at a loss in chaos and confusion, so he was respectfully asked to get out of the car by Gilbert.

Under the car, there is an exquisite small garden, paved with hard but indistinguishable floor tiles. In the middle of the garden is a delicate fountain, with spring water spurting from the mouth of a stone dragon that roars upward to the sky.

Thales turned his head blankly and looked at the big black iron gate of the garden. There seemed to be reliefs carved on the black iron gate. Thales didn't recognize anyone on the scene, but there were two big flags standing on the left and right of the iron gate, fluttering in the wind.

.

On the flag, there is a double silver cross star with a white border and a blue background: two silver cross stars, one large and one small, are stacked together, and the small cross star is on the lower right side of the big cross star.

Thales recognized it. The flag flying highest on the west city gate also had this pattern.

White border, blue background, silver cross and double stars.

Star King flag.

The two flags in the garden have a small gold and silver nine-pointed star embroidered in the lower left corner of the large silver cross star, with four gold corners and five silver corners.

That's the pattern engraved on the back of the carriage.

Thales came back to his senses. In front of him was a gorgeous three-story house with eight beautifully carved columns supporting a large balcony on the second floor. In the middle of the top floor, a window lit up with light.

The main entrance of the house is made of fir - Thales once saw a furniture merchant selling a large square fir table in the big market next to the west city gate, asking for fifty gold coins.

Of course, he later "voluntarily" sold the square table to the Black Street Brotherhood at a preferential price of one gold coin.

Thales followed Gilbert in a daze, refusing Yoder's gesture to open his arms, insisting on enduring the wounds and exhaustion all over his body, and trudged into the door carved out of the giant cedar.

At the door and hall, including the corridor leading up to the spiral staircase, under the illumination of a large ornate inextinguishable lamp holder burning eternal oil, stood guards with complete equipment and eyes fixed on them. Each guard seemed to have been carefully selected.

They are about the same height, equipped with swords, shields and crossbows, and the metal shields are all decorated with gold and silver nine-pointed star symbols.

Thales held on to the handrail on the side of the stairs and walked slowly up to the second floor.

On the second floor, on the wall facing the main entrance of the house, three portraits hang.

In the middle is a majestic young knight with heroic hair and charging with a spear. The knight has a handsome appearance and a heroic expression. He wears a silver seven-star crown on his head and moves forward fearlessly against the tragic battlefield background.

On the left is a strong warrior with sword and shield. On the shield is a nine-pointed star with silver horns. He wears a nine-star crown on his head. His face is resolute and heroic. In the background is a lush and towering tree.

On the right is a seated statue of a kind and kind middle-aged man, with a brightly lit city behind him. In his left hand is a precious scepter inlaid with bright kyanite, and in his right hand is a thick book with five different suns and stars on it.

Patterns such as the moon.

The three nobles have different temperaments, but the painter seems to have captured the charm of each of them very well. Thales looked at the portrait blankly, as if he were a real person.

It seems that it is really a noble family that has been passed down for a long time.

It's a pity that Thales doesn't know anyone.

Wait, why does that middle-aged handsome guy look so familiar?

When Thales was about to lift off his clothes and take a look at the portrait that was branded on his chest, he heard the sound of steady footsteps.

"That was Tormund I, the last prince of the Final Empire, the founder of the Stars, the 'king_of_renaissance'. His bravery in the End War is still celebrated today."

"On the left is Midir IV, comrade-in-arms of the hero Sarah and the prophet Kaipeng, the protector of the sacred tree, the 'oath_keeper' (oath_keeper). Starting from him and his elf queen, the Royal Family of the Bright Star has elves.

of blood."

"Finally, there is Mindis III, 'the wise king'. From nobles to priests, businessmen to beggars, everyone praises his wise rule."

The sound was heavy and majestic. It came in a low voice, but it was like the thunder hidden in the dark clouds, faintly vibrating.

Behind him, Gilbert and Yoder knelt down on one knee.

Thales swallowed and raised his head slightly.

A strong figure walked slowly in front of him. His majestic and resolute face always reminded the traveler of the sword and shield warrior on the left side of the wall.

This is a strong-looking nobleman with black hair and a high nose, deep eyes and broad face. His sky-blue pupils are as sharp as swords. The nobleman is holding a scepter in his left hand. He stands in front of Thales and looks at it carefully.

Hold him.

Thales looked back at the nobles in front of him in a daze.

He couldn't help but become nervous.

In his two lifetimes as a human being, no one had taught him what to do at this time.

The sturdy noble looked at him for a long time, so long that even Thales felt a little embarrassed.

But his gaze did not make Thales feel friendly or at ease at all. Instead, it made him stressed and a little breathless.

To put it bluntly, even Ashida Sarkon's crazy look was better than this.

But the traveler suddenly noticed that the sturdy noble in front of him was wearing something like the nine-star crown worn by the sword and shield warrior in the painting, and the scepter in his left hand looked like the painting on the right.

The crystal-encrusted scepter in the middle-aged man's hand.

Gilbert reminded him in a low voice: "Child, this is your father."

"Father?"

Thales lowered his eyes, looked at the star-blue cloak behind him, and couldn't help but murmur.

His father's face from the previous life was slowly reflected in his mind, but it was a little blurry.

Thales took a deep breath and refocused his eyes.

"who are you?"

He heard his own voice coming out flat.

The sturdy nobleman did not answer, but frowned slightly.

At this moment, Gilbert raised his head and spoke solemnly in a tone full of authority, solemnity, and no doubt:

"This is Kessel Mindis Eddie Brightstar, the fifth King Kessel in the family.

The legitimate royal lineage of the final empire, the successor of the resurrected King Tormund.

The co-lord of the Ludor people and the Northlanders in the Western Continent, the conqueror of the Dragon Skeleton Throne and the Altar of the Desert God.

The protector of the Holy Tree and the Principality of Thera, the defender of the City of Steel and the Freedom Alliance.

The Iron Fist (the_iron_fist), the thirty-ninth supreme king of the Star Kingdom and the Southern Islands, and the Western Desert."

Thales felt a chill in his heart and his breathing quickened.

A suffocating pressure came over me as if it were real.

Kessel looked at Thales with deep eyes.

After a while, he turned his head and looked at Gilbert and Yodel on both sides.

The sturdy king, Kessel V, used his heavy and thick voice to speak every word:

"He is my descendant, the bloodline of the kingdom?"

"The entire Star Kingdom, the last and only bloodline?"

The end of the first volume. Thank you to all readers on the Genesis website (there is also a starting point. I was reminded by someone, and then I noticed that when I posted an article on Genesis, there would be synchronization on the starting point, but I couldn’t seem to see the "author's words").
