Chapter 24 What to Do

"Mom, thank you for taking the trouble." Banqin saluted outside the courtyard gate and thanked her.

"You're welcome, young lady." The servant girl returned the favor politely.

Banqin hurriedly turned around and ran indoors.

"Madam, madam, I asked, my cousin went to have a drink and take a break." She said happily.

Cheng Jiaoniang doesn't need to take a midday break because she already sleeps a lot in one day.

At this moment she was looking at a book on the desk.

While the Cheng family and the Zhou family were sitting down to eat after the quarrel, she asked Banqin to get a book for her.

Because they didn't know exactly what they wanted to read, after hearing the maid's request, the boys reported back to the master and picked up the thickest book from the master's study and sent it over.

This is enough to tear and play with for a while.

If a fool wants a book for reading other than playing with it, haha.

In Dazhou Prosperity Record, Cheng Jiaoniang rubbed the cover with her fingers and silently read out the title of the book. She didn't care what Banqin was saying. She was very happy in her heart, but she couldn't show it.

"Madam, my cousin will come to see you when he wakes up." Banqin knelt down in front of her, put his hand on the desk, and blocked the book, saying.

Cheng Jiaoniang said oh and nodded to her.

"Okay." She said.

"Madam." Banqin sat back for a moment, then knelt straight again, looking excited and uneasy, "What do you want to say to your cousin when you see him?"

Cheng Jiaoniang said "Oh" and said nothing for a while.

"There are a lot of things I want to say but I can't say them. Don't worry." Banqin smiled and said, "Speak slowly. My cousin will listen to you patiently."

Cheng Jiaoniang said oh again. Actually, she had nothing to say and she wasn't familiar with him.

She lowered her head to read the book.

"With the cousin here, they won't dare to bully the lady in the future." Banqin said again, with a bit of excitement and relief, "If I had known, we might as well go to the old lady's house first and then come back."

Cheng Jiaoniang raised her head.

"You said that there was a man named Han Yuanchao." She said suddenly.

Banqin was stunned for a moment when he was interrupted.

South Korea and Yuan Dynasty?

Cheng Jiaoniang picked up Banqin's daily notebook from the side, opened it and pointed at one of the lines.

On this trip to Tongjiang, the Han family's son, the Yuan Dynasty, came to help each other when there was injustice.

Banqin said oh and remembered.

"I can't remember what happened." Cheng Jiaoniang asked.

Banqin told the story again, but compared to the previous time, she told it more simply and quickly this time.

"Madam, the Sixth Young Master is younger than this Young Master Han." She said and then added.

"Banqin, Mr. Han said that everyone can do it with a little effort, so it's not a favor." Cheng Jiaoniang said, not following her words to say Liulang.

Banqin looked at her and nodded.

"Yes, yes, Madam, remember it. Madam said, there are many things in this world that can be done with a little effort, but not everyone is willing to do it, so I asked me to write it down, so as not to forget the help of Mr. Han." She said.

He said with a smile.

Cheng Jiaoniang looked at her.

"Yes, Banqin, there are not many opportunities to meet people like Master Han," she said.

Banqin was puzzled, what are you talking about?

The lady is slow-thinking, so she may have thought of other places, or maybe she thought of the Korean Won Dynasty because she was grateful for Liu Lang's support.

It must be yes, the lady's mind has turned and she can't come back for a while.

"Yes, so it's great that my cousin can come." She smiled and supported Ping Ji to get up, "Madam, I'm going to see the guests' tea."

Banqin said that and ran out.

Cheng Jiaoniang watched her go back, put on the sandals she had left on the porch, and then walked into the kitchen again.

Cheng Jiaoniang pursed her lips, smiled slightly, lowered her head and opened the book.

By the time it was past noon, Banqin's tea was getting colder and colder, but Zhou Lang still didn't come.

"Are you still awake?" Banqin said, "Did you drink too much?"

No one answered her. After everyone else took their lunch break, it was time for Cheng Jiaoniang to take her lunch break.

She lay on the couch and fell asleep. On the couch by the window not far away, the wind turned the pages of the book and made a gentle sound from time to time.

Banqin carefully walked over and turned over the book. She stared at the sunlight and green shade outside the window for a moment, then stood up.

"I'm going to see the Sixth Young Master. You can help me look after my wife." She called the new girl in a low voice and said.

The girl had an ordinary appearance and would not stand out in a crowd. She was about sixteen or seventeen years old. She was stunned for a moment and a little scared when she heard this.

"Ah, ah, then, what should I do?" she blurted out in a trembling voice.

But I have never taken care of a fool...

What should I do if the idiot wakes up and cries? Will she be beaten? Does she need to be given water? What snacks should she eat? Can she change clothes alone?

Banqin stared at the girl with some annoyance.

"I'll come as soon as I go. You wait on the porch. You don't have to go in. If my wife wakes up and I'm not here, she will lie still. You don't have to do anything." She whispered.

The girl breathed a sigh of relief.

"Sister, go and come back quickly." She still urged nervously.

Banqin stepped out.

She asked several people before she found out where Liu Lang was resting, but when she rushed over, she didn't see it.

"Mr. Lang has gone to see Master Cheng." said the boy outside the door.

It was right to go see the lady's father first, Banqin thought happily, and turned around to go to the second master. She did not go back to the yard, but thought about waiting outside. When Lang Jun came out, she could take him to see the lady.

.

After lingering for a long time, Liu Lang was nowhere to be seen. Banqin was a little anxious about waiting, and hurriedly asked the boy at the second master's door, only to find out that he and the second master had come to the eldest master's side from the beginning.

Banqin stamped her feet in annoyance, turned around and ran towards the elder again.

She was angry, and the girl who stayed in the yard was also anxious.

"Mom, do you want to go in and take a look or not?" She asked the maid in a panic.

The two of them had been sitting on their knees outside the corridor for half a day, listening to the silence inside, which was so quiet that it was a little scary.

"That girl said no, let's not go in." The servant woman said, unable to make up her mind.

"Why aren't you back yet?" The girl looked out the door, "Why have you been talking for so long? You have to say it now. It's not too late to stay here and talk tomorrow."

When Banqin arrived at the old master's door, the boy inside had already come out.

"What? The Sixth Young Master is leaving?" Banqin was shocked, "You just came today, why are you leaving?"

Mr. Cheng and Mr. Cheng were not relieved after hearing this.

"It's getting dark, how can my nephew leave?" Mr. Cheng said.

"It doesn't matter, it's easy to travel at night if you are young." Zhou Lang said with a smile, with the madness of a young man.

Mr. Cheng Er felt a little contempt in his heart.

"That wise nephew came and left in a hurry, just to reply. It's really hard work." Mr. Cheng said, no longer forcing him to stay.

"Oh, besides answering and seeing if my cousin is safe, there is one more thing." Saturday Lang said suddenly as he remembered something.

coming!

Mr. Cheng and Mr. Cheng were trembling in their hearts. They were talking about this and that, but now they finally want to talk about their real purpose.

"Please tell me." Mr. Cheng said.

Liu Lang sat up straight and put his hands on his knees.

"I want that girl." He said. (To be continued)
