Chapter 26 Who is stupid

The cold rice noodles served in a celadon noodle bowl, garnished with scallions and fine whites, were placed on a table. She then placed two plates of side dishes and bowls and chopsticks before bringing them to Cheng Jiaoniang.

The lights in the room have been lit, and the bamboo curtains have been lowered to block flying insects that want to pounce in.

Cheng Jiaoniang looked at the dining table in front of her and did not move.

I don’t know if I can eat by myself…

The girl hesitated for a moment and looked at the maid beside her, who winked at her.

The girl stretched out her hand to pick up the chopsticks.

Cheng Jiaoniang reached out and picked it up first, stroking her sleeves with one hand and slowly picking up the noodles to eat.

The girl breathed a sigh of relief and gave the servant a proud look of joy.

There was a sound of footsteps outside the door, and four or five people walked in.

"Why are you here, Mrs. Guo?" The girl and the maid hurriedly greeted her with smiles.

The leading woman smiled and pointed at the person behind her.

"This girl will be here for you from now on," she said.

A girl stood up with a straight face and gave a rough salute.

"Why are there more people?" the servant asked.

"Oh, it turns out that the girl who came with Madam has left. Madam was afraid that you two wouldn't be able to take care of her, so she bought another one." Madam Guo said, looking at the hall.

Under the dim light, the woman was eating with her head down, showing no intention of stopping and looking over.

It's good to be a fool, it saves you worry and trouble.

Madam Guo didn't want to stay any longer, so she turned around and left.

The girls and servants left here are still in shock.

"Why did you just leave?"

The new girl pouted and looked around, then laughed when she heard a sneer.

"Aren't you leaving? Are you going to stay here for the rest of your life?" she said, "I have a nice place to go, and the young master is here to pick me up, so if I don't go, I'd be a fool."

Only then did the girl and the servant girl understand what was going on, and they felt a little sad and couldn't explain the feeling.

"Just leave like that." The girl looked back at Cheng Jiaoniang in the hall.

Under the light, the woman was still eating slowly.

"After all, I've been following him for so long, so why not just kowtow and say a few words," she murmured.

"Knocked, I knocked several times outside the door." The new girl said, "Besides, what's there to say? What do fools know?"

The young master of the Zhou family only stayed during the day and then left, taking a girl with him. The news soon spread to the inner house.

"Aren't you reluctant to leave her wife? She's not even willing to come to the kitchen to make snacks. We're still in the same home. Why, she's leaving now. We're thousands of miles apart. How can she be reluctant?" Cheng Liu Niang

He said with a hum.

"There is nothing in this world that I can't bear to part with. This girl is naturally smart. If you go to higher places and follow this fool, this fool will be like this for the rest of your life. Following that young master will be different in the future." Cheng Wuniang said slowly.

Cheng Liu Niang already knew some things about the people, and after hearing the words, she understood and swept over the girl next to her with a bit of anger.

"If any of you dare to abandon your master like this, no matter which master you follow, I will definitely chase you and beat you to death." She raised her chin and said fiercely.

The girls were so frightened that they knelt down and said that the slaves did not dare.

"What is Sichun?" Cheng Qiniang asked curiously, "Why did Sichun abandon his master?"

There was an eight-year-old child here, and several sisters fanned him in a covert manner.

"It's boring, let's go play in the lotus pond." Cheng Liuniang said, changing the subject.

The sisters stood up in agreement, but Cheng Qiniang was unwilling.

"There's a ghost in there," she shouted.

"No, fourth brother is sick. He studied too hard, worried too much, and got sick after being exposed to the wind in the lotus pond. Doctor Liao said it all!" Cheng Liuniang raised her eyebrows and shouted, reaching out to poke Cheng Qiniang's head, "You are like this again.

Arrange my brother, I won’t play with you!”

Cheng Qiniang felt aggrieved and angry.

"I'm not going to play with you yet!" She stamped her feet and walked away without putting on her shoes.

The nanny girl was a common sight, and she hurriedly caught up with her wooden clogs.

Cheng Liu Niang snorted.

"Let's go, that fool is no longer in the lotus pond, let's play freely," she said.

At dawn, the girl who was sleeping on the couch outside the bamboo curtain hurriedly got up when she heard the noise in the house.

"Madam, are you awake?" she asked.

Someone in the room expressed gratitude.

The girl stood up, combed her hair and went in. Cheng Jiaoniang was already sitting by the bed.

"Madam, I will help you change your clothes," the girl said.

Although it has only been three or four days, she is already proficient at doing this because it is really simple.

This lady is quiet, quiet and easy to take care of, except for eating.

After combing her hair and washing her face, and taking a few sips of water, the girl pushed the dining table in front of Cheng Jiaoniang.

"Madam, look..." she asked cautiously.

Cheng Jiaoniang glanced at the dining table and was silent for a moment.

Now the meals are all delivered from the kitchen, but the small kitchen here has not been removed because...

"This fish and sesame are fried in oil, and this rice is soaked in soup." Cheng Jiaoniang said.

The girl responded and put the food on the table into the food box again and took it out.

The girl is washing her hair in the yard.

"Stop washing, scoop out the water, and I will use the stove fire to cook for the lady again." The girl said.

The girl washing her hair looked a little impatient.

"Isn't everything done? What else is there to do?" she said.

"She doesn't want to eat, so she needs to do it again in this way and that way," the girl said.

The girl who was washing her hair came over with a flick of her hair, looked at the food box, and curled her lips.

"What do idiots know? Just let me coax you. You really need to serve me like a serious lady." She said, reaching out to take it, "Let me do it."

She picked up the chopsticks, turned the fish over, poured the soup on the side into the rice, and stirred it twice randomly.

The strong smell of freshly applied hair oil spread throughout the room.

Cheng Jiaoniang raised her head from the window and looked at this strange girl.

"Madam..." the girl shouted, suddenly froze and looked at the lady sitting by the window.

This is the first time she has entered this house since she came in, and the first time she has seen this woman clearly.

It was so beautiful, she was lost for a moment.

What a pity he is a fool.

"Madam." She came back to her senses, knelt down, and put out the fish and rice in the food box, "I have fried them as you said and soaked them as well."

Cheng Jiaoniang looked at the dishes on the table, then raised her head to look at the girl.

The girl who was originally relaxed and at ease somehow became a little nervous under her gaze.

Fools are always scary, right?

She forced a smile at Cheng Jiaoniang.

"Do you want me to feed my wife?" she stammered.

Cheng Jiaoniang looked at her and pursed her lips.

"I'm not a fool," she said, "you are the fool."

The girl laughed.

What a fool...

Cheng Jiaoniang reached out and pushed the dishes on the table.

The soup rice immediately fell and spilled on the table on the floor and on the girl kneeling opposite.

"Oh, oh, oh, it's burning to death." The girl jumped up and shouted.

Mrs. Cheng, who had only felt at ease for a few days, frowned.

"Jiao Niangzi said that the girl scalded her with rice..." The servant girl knelt down in front of her and whispered, "The girl said that Jiao Niang had knocked her down by herself... Others were outside and didn't see it. Madam, who do you believe?

?”

"You ask me which one I believe?" Mrs. Cheng said. She sat up straight, looked at the servant girl, and suddenly raised her voice, "Is this still a question for me? It's because the Zhou family has left and will never come back in this life.

Are you doing it? Is it difficult for them to serve someone who is eating and drinking? Who are you taking for a fool? Take me!"

The servant girl was frightened and kowtowed.

"Yes, yes, madam, please calm down. Madam, please calm down. I know this, and I will deal with it now." She said, got up and walked out quickly.
