"Sanlang, you must come out one by one now! Otherwise, these people in the court will not know how high the sky is."
The speaker was Han Zhongyan.
Han Zhongyan now convicts Sinong Temple together with Kumamoto, and his official position reaches Longtuge directly as a bachelor.
Officials in the Song Dynasty were generally ranked based on their own official positions, but as they advanced to later stages, their official ranks were not so important, and their official positions were ranked based on their cabinet titles.
Han Zhongyan's promotion to this position was not only recommended by Zhang Yue, but also because the officials valued his old ministers.
In Zhang's study room, Zhang Yue said nothing, but Huang Lu said: "I think so. Zhang Zihou is an eloquent person, and your Majesty has great trust in him. If he doesn't give up, he will do more harm than Li Chengzhi."
Li Chengzhi, the envoy of the third minister, objected to Zhang Yue's changes in the military service law, so Zhang Yue sent him out and became the magistrate of Ruzhou.
Zhang Yue looked at Huang Lu, Han Zhongyan and Han Zhongyan were so indignant that they couldn't help but smile.
Huang Lu frowned and said, "The Prime Minister can still laugh at this time."
Han Zhongyan said: "Yes, Sanlang, don't hesitate and let Zhang Dun refute you again. You think it's okay to lose face, but no one will be afraid of us in the future."
Privately in the court, they are known as the "Zhang Party".
For example, Cai Que, Xu Jiang, Wang Anli, Han Zhen, and Xue Xiang are not considered members of the Zhang Party. They have their own factions. They can only be said to be political allies of Zhang Yue. They have room for cooperation, but they may fall out due to political opinions in the future.
This is like the relationship between Wang Anshi, Han Jiang and Chen Shengzhi back then.
Those who can truly be called a party must first be consistent in their political views.
The first one to recommend is Huang Lu.
Huang Lu is known as the second-largest person in the Zhang Party, and some people joke that Zhang Yue can be left out in the Zhang Party, but Huang Lu cannot be left out.
Zhang Yue sometimes felt that Huang Lu was there and that he could be a mascot.
When Huang Lu came down, it was originally Chen Mu, but now he was replaced by Han Zhongyan. Han Zhongyan was like a "party whip" who shouted to be beaten and killed all day long.
Zhang Yuezhi, Huang Lu, and Chen Mu are like Wang Anshizhi, Lu Huiqing, and Zeng Bu.
However, their relationship with Zhang Yue is different.
Zhang Yue felt that he was often led by Huang Lu and Han Zhongyan on specific matters, calling them adoptive fathers.
Zhang Yue said to the two of them: "Do you think you are looking at me as if you are looking at the back of an ox?"
Huang Lu and Han Zhongyan burst out laughing.
Looking at the cow's back, there was a conversation between Wang Yan and Director Wang. Wang Yan was humiliated by his fellow tribesmen and had a dinner plate thrown into his face.
Afterwards, Wang Yan and Director Wang left together in an ox cart. Wang Yan pointed to the back of an ox being whipped in front of him and said to Director Wang, "Look, my face is the same as this ox's back."
Zhang Yue took out a round fan and waved it gently in front of his chest and said: "I have heard a saying that everything in the world requires both face and inner content. Face cannot be stained with ashes, it can be gained by shedding blood."
Zhang Yue is the prime minister and the leader of the Zhang Party. How can he be contradicted again and again?
Huang Lu and Han Zhongyan nodded: "That's what it means."
Zhang Yue said: "But if you want to save face, you must be upright and don't allow others to gossip."
Zhang Yue said to the two of them: "The dispute between me and Zhang Zihou is not a personal grudge but a matter of state. Just like the dispute between me, Wang Shugong and Lu Jifu, don't use other means."
"Zhang Zihou is different from Li Chengzhi. I am in charge of the third department, but Li Chengzhi doesn't listen. Since he is a subordinate, there is no need to reason with him, that's all."
Huang Lu said: "How does the Prime Minister plan to fight?"
Zhang Yue said: "Since we are fighting for the country, let others speak. The purpose of Xining's reform is to 'benefit the country', and I, Yuanfeng, am in power to 'benefit the people.'"
"Holding power can suppress people for a while, but they cannot suppress them forever. The final victory or defeat must still be determined by the 'people's hearts'."
"Those who have gained the right will get more help, while those who have lost the right will get less help. Only the support of the people's support will determine the long-term plan!"
Although Huang Lu and Han Zhongyan often argue with Zhang Yue, in terms of general direction, depth of planning, and far-sighted vision, they are not as good as Zhang Yue.
Zhang Yue said: "Has Yingzhong entered Beijing?"
Huang Lu said: "There should be two or three days to go."
"He came to see me immediately after entering Beijing."
…
Two days later, Chen Guan came to Bianjing after a long journey.
After he was released from prison, he became secretary-general of Huzhou. However, before his term was completed, he was transferred to Beijing for another appointment.
"The student has met the teacher!"
Chen Guan paid homage to Zhang Yue.
Zhang Yue smiled and helped Chen Guan up and said: "Huzhou is a wonderful place! Back then, my nephew Zhang Ziping, the number one scholar, served here for a term, but he never wanted to leave."
"You Yingzhong took a post here, and it seems that you ate a lot of fish and shrimps."
Chen Guan said respectfully: "Students who manage local affairs, remember the teacher's teachings, apply what they have learned, and apply what they have learned to manage the world, will indeed benefit a lot."
Zhang Yue smiled and said: "It seems that there has been some progress."
"Ask the teacher to give me some advice."
Zhang Yue smiled and said: "Sit down first."
After the two sat down, Chen Guan handed Zhang Yue a pen and said: "This is the best pen in Huzhou. Although it is not as good as the Xuanzhou pen, the students bought it with their private salary and gave it to the teacher."
Zhang Yue said solemnly: "Okay, I have received countless pens, but yours is the most precious."
Zhang Yue accepted it and said, "Do you know why I transferred you to Beijing?"
Chen Guandao: "Students don't know."
Zhang Yue said: "I plan to hold a meeting in the capital similar to the 'Shiqu Pavilion Discussion' or the 'Salt and Iron Discussion'."
"Discussing the direction after the New Deal must be carried out before Li Xian offers prisoners and before envoys from the Western Regions come to Beijing to pay tribute."
Chen Guan had some thoughts.
??????55.??????
Zhang Yue said: "When the time comes, I will arrange for you and Su Ziyou to come forward for me. You and Ziyou are skilled in Jingyi and have experience in local governance. I think you will be qualified!"
"Yes." Chen Guan accepted the order.
Zhang Yue said: "You may also know that the country is generally following the Xining New Policy, but this policy cannot last long."
"The country is right, the country is right, and the whole country is right." It's useless for you to raise it over there. Your Majesty has already regretted the administration of Xining. But in the DPRK, like Zhang Dun, Pu Zongmeng still raised the banner of Xining's administration. The flag is not willing to change. If this continues, the New Deal will be ruined."
Chen Guan said: "Students think that Xining's new policy is Wang Anshi's method, but the teacher is now in charge of the country, so he cannot completely follow Xining's method."
Zhang Yue nodded, Chen Guan was indeed his favorite disciple, and he immediately understood what he meant.
In the classic sense, Chen Guan is the one who inherits his legacy. At the same time, in the history of another time and space, he is also the only person who silenced Zhang Dun and took the initiative to admit his mistake.
Zhang Yue used Su Che to deal with Lu Huiqing before, and now uses Chen Guan to deal with Zhang Dun. This is generally the idea.
It would be unethical for me to come forward to argue with Zhang Dun. After all, I am the younger brother of the other party's clan, and I do not have the right of a younger brother to educate an older brother.
Of course, the most important thing is to worry about not being able to argue.
Zhang Dun defended the new law with such momentum...Tsk, tsk, tsk...
Even Sima Guang Yuanyou cried when he argued with him. He even went to Su Shi and Zhang Dun privately and said, "Brother, forget it. You should give me some face in court."
Zhang Dun listened.
But when he was demoted from the capital, he did not forget to let Sima Guang take the sword.
Zhang Yue said to Chen Guan: "The principles of the world can be roughly divided into four schools."
Chen Guan asked: "Didn't the teacher say that one comes from heaven and the other comes from human feelings?"
Zhang Yue said: "Yes, this is a general statement of dividing into two. What do you think is the difference between my political views and those of Wang Shugong, Su Zizhan and Sima Junshi?"
The political views of Wang Anshi and Sima Guang are the South Pole and the North Pole.
In terms of attacking party items, Sima Guang believed that it was impossible to win, and it would waste people and money. It would be a huge burden on the people's livelihood of Shaanxi and Sichuan and the country's finances, and the people would live a very miserable life.
Wang Anshi advocated attacking party items. He advocated that after the capture, the people of Shaanxi and Sichuan breathed a sigh of relief, and the court also saved a lot of money. From now on, the people would not have to bear so much burden.
Besides, if you, Sima Guang, don’t advocate attacking Dangxiang, won’t Dangxiang come to attack you?
Wang Anshi considered things rationally, while Sima Guang thought things based on human feelings.
Just like in order to be able to sleep peacefully, one person thinks that if I work hard to make money now, I will be able to live peacefully in the future, while another person thinks that if I work hard to make money, it is not just for the sake of sleeping peacefully, so I will just give it up to the end.
What is the difference between Zhang Yue's attitude towards the new law and Wang Anshi and Zhang Dun?
That is, the laws of nature and human feelings must be combined.
He advocated attacking party items, which was consistent with Wang Anshi. However, he considered that it must be based on reality.
Many people work hard today and see results tomorrow.
This is just like studying. In order to get good grades, I force myself to read for sixteen hours a day. If I want to be lazy, I will hang my head and stab my butt.
But what? People who work too hard often can’t hold on for long.
You, Wang Anshi, have carried out your reforms for so long and it has been beneficial to the country, but what about the people? There are almost no benefits at all.
If you want the reform to continue, you must allow the people to truly benefit from the reform and gain the support of the people before you can make way for the reform to continue.
Government must be based on the people at all times.
Without the support of the people, the reform will be unsustainable. Once the officials die, the reform will definitely be abolished.
Everything you do must be based on reality. The most difficult thing in the world is persistence rather than hard work.
It's like a family trying to make money and want to buy a big house. In addition to saving money, they also have to treat themselves with big meals from time to time. If I eat tofu and pickles every day, my body will collapse first. As a result, you accuse me of always wasting money and delaying the purchase of a big house.
schedule.
In the eyes of Wang Anshi and Zhang Dun, they feel that you, Zhang Yue, are doing things to oppose the new law in the name of the new law.
Zhang Dun criticized Zhang Yue today, saying that he only knew how to attack and build up the party items, and could do nothing but build fortresses and infrastructure. How long and how long will it take for you to destroy Xia? You have wasted so much money spent by the imperial court.
Where is Su Shi?
He has no idea of supporting or opposing the new law. His theory is to deal with each case one by one. Everything must be analyzed concretely and without any preconceived views.
Just like the highest level of martial arts is without a sect, and if you have a sect, you are at a lower level.
Su Shi's problem is that he thinks everyone is as smart as him. Without a sect or a banner, you can't call on more people.
Politics, in the final analysis, it depends on which side has more people and more power.
Zhang Yue said to Chen Guan: "There are generally four types of differences in political affairs in the world. In general, they are like this. You must remember that Zhang Zihou and I only fight for state affairs and have no personal grudges."
Chen Guan heard this and said: "The students understand. It's just that the teacher's path is not easy to follow!"
Zhang Yue nodded and said, "Yes, so I am destined to endure humiliation and bear the burden sometimes."
Having said this, Zhang Yue stood up and said, "But the only thing in this world is to look at the back of an ox and a horse to shoot into the east wind."
"Let them tell you. Once you succeed, you can watch their jokes."
At this point, Zhang Yue smiled and said, "But at that time, I didn't think it was necessary."
