Fu Bi did this to Fan Zhongyan, and what was even worse was that he even scolded his father-in-law Yan Shu.
Fu Bi once pointed at Yan Shu in front of Song Renzong and said, Yan Shu is a treacherous villain and formed a party with Lu Yijian to deceive His Majesty.
In later generations, no one would dare to scold his father-in-law like this. Fu Bi not only scolded him, but also called him by his first name. However, Fu Bi was still very popular when he was appointed prime minister. His words of praise blessed the four true ministers, and Mr. Fu became the true prime minister.
