That person was completely made up of spiritual light, and looked dazed, as if it would dissipate at any moment.
But its shape looked extremely vivid, as if it was looking at Danxuan's face seriously, as if it wanted to find something on his face.
After Chen Zhi was startled, he immediately wanted to warn Danxuan loudly.
However, it was discovered that Danxuan did not seem to see this figure. He was still looking ahead with a solemn expression, watching the staff collecting DNA factors.
But Danxuan was in a very nervous state at this time and did not pay attention to Chen Zhi.
Chen Zhi didn't dare to move any more, so he stopped where he was, carefully looking at the person made of aura, looking at the faint thread of light behind him, looking for the source of the aura.
Soon, he discovered the real source of the aura, a faint thread of light leading straight to the back, which was the skull relic!
"Danxuan..." Chen Zhi called out softly, trying to get Danxuan to turn his head and look at him.
However, Danxuan was so engrossed at this time that he didn't notice Chen Zhi calling him.
However, the man made of light heard this cry...
The man turned his head suddenly, and the feeling was very terrifying.
He stared at Chen Zhi, and at that moment, his face suddenly became very clear.
It was indeed an old monk, with full earlobes, wrinkles on his face, drooped eye corners and eyelids, and long eyebrows drooped. He looked like the kind old monk in the painting, but there was an unconcealable expression between his eyebrows.
The breath of persistence.
This old monk seems to have experienced hardships, and his face has obvious weather and scars.
He was twisting Buddhist beads in his hands, and the cassock on his body was of a large square grid, and the edges were decorated with complicated coiled dragon patterns. It was a typical monk's dress during the Tang Dynasty. The coiled dragon pattern proved that he was unique and received
Royal protection.
Although this person made of golden light looks scary in the darkness.
But in fact, his face was very kind. Chen Zhi even felt that when he saw this old monk, he felt a great sense of warmth and security in his heart, making people feel trustworthy.
This figure did not come closer, but looked at Chen Zhi from a distance.
He seemed to know Chen Zhi. He looked at Chen Zhi as if mutely speaking, waved his arm gently, and then pointed forward, looking very strange.
After watching it several times, Chen Zhi realized that he was actually making a pointing gesture.
He pointed his finger in the most westward direction, and his other arm was gently waving. It felt like it was conveying some kind of message.
After this figure did this action several times, he turned back and glanced at Danxuan behind him again.
The lips were moving constantly, as if they were saying something, but no sound could be heard.
Chen Zhizhi clearly felt that this man was very anxious, the urgency was indescribable, and when he looked at Danxuan, he was crying.
Just when Chen Zhi didn't know whether he should remind Danxuan, suddenly there was a bang in his brain, as if it exploded. There was a burst of darkness, and he immediately felt a scalding temperature on his body. He was thrown into another
world.
Everything around them disappeared, including the Danxuan, the pagoda, the relics, and the staff, and was replaced by a dark desert.
It was deep in the desert at night, and there was no light around except the lonely moon in the sky.
There are no buildings, no life, no water, not even a grass root. There is only the roaring wind and sand in the dark sky, and the despair before death.
The surface of the sand was still hot, but it was bitingly cold above. Chen Zhi lay on the yellow sand like a lost hiker.
He couldn't move at all, the bones all over his body ached unbearably, the rotten wounds were in constant pain, and there was a constant stench.
He felt that his throat was so thirsty that it was almost on fire, and his stomach was twitching because he was very hungry.
He has not eaten or drank a drop of water for many days. He is going to die...
The feeling of death was always so devastating. He felt that his body was gradually giving out. This feeling was very despairing and terrifying.
Life is leaving me little by little...
There is no longer any miracle that can happen.
At this moment, a hazy shadow suddenly appeared in front of him.
The shadow exuded a little bit of light, as if it had a little bit of phosphorus fire, and it looked a bit like a will-o'-the-wisp.
The shadow was a little evasive at first, seeming to be very scared and not daring to come near.
Then, the shadow gradually crawled over with a cloud of mist...
In this mist, Chen Zhi seemed to see a furry face, which looked like an animal and a human being, and the guy also had a long tail.
Along with it came the sour smell of wild beasts, which mixed with the dry smell of the desert, hit my face.
Just when Chen Zhi wanted to open his eyes and see the face of the shadow clearly, suddenly, an extremely terrifying and ferocious beast face appeared, with long fangs exposed, and it rushed towards Chen Zhi...
Chen Zhi woke up immediately. When he woke up this time, he found that he was back at the top of the stupa again.
The staff were still busy working, and Danxuan was still standing there, looking nervously ahead, as if he knew nothing about it all.
The figure made of light that I saw just now has disappeared.
Danxuan was so engrossed that sweat broke out on his forehead. He had been looking at the work ahead nervously and seriously, and did not notice anything wrong with Chen Zhi.
Chen Zhi touched his forehead and found that it was covered with cold sweat, but his whole body was still as hot as the sand.
Everything that happened just now was like a dream, a dream that was forcefully inserted into his mind!
Suddenly, a faint flash of light appeared in Chen Zhi's field of vision.
Chen Zhi glanced ahead and found something shining where the figure had been standing just now.
And this thing was not here just now...
Chen Zhi walked over, bent down to take a look, and then picked up the things on the ground.
It was a perfectly round metal ring, very thick, like a large copper coin.
The carvings on it were very delicate, and they were full of words and monster shapes. Chen Zhi did not recognize these words.
But when I turned it over, there were two Chinese characters of the Old Tang Dynasty carved in seal script on the back,
"Given the King's Brother"
Danxuan finally noticed Chen Zhi at this time. He walked over, took the things in Chen Zhi's hands, looked at them, and said softly,
"It's really strange. Why didn't I notice that there is such a thing here?
This is called changing the quilt!
It is an elegant gift that we Buddhists use as gifts when we preach scriptures and get to know each other.
But this thing is so exquisitely made, and there are such words on the back, it is probably a relic of Master Xuanzang during his lifetime.
How could something so important be thrown here carelessly?"
