Chapter One Hundred and Twenty: Alchemy Curse

Chen Zhi is a person who is good at organizing, integrating complex data and looking for more optimized forms.

In essence, spells are rows of data that shuttle up and down.

The more precise and relevant the data arrangement is, the better the effect of the spell will be, and when two similar spells are combined, there will be unexpected new abilities.

What did Chen Zhi get the most from the Black Whale incident?

That was when he saw in Master Puhang's mind a spell that could fuse people's memories and essence into a transparent human form.

Chen Zhi later implemented this spell in many places, which can be said to be very practical.

Later, Chen Zhi studied this kind of magic from foreign tribes many times and found that this kind of magic is very tolerant and has many details that can be connected with the mantra.

And when the two mantras are combined, many things can be done, and a person's soul can even be temporarily extracted.

For example, if a painter spent a lot of energy and carefully painted a painting, then he must have some soul essence left in the painting.

And Chen Zhi can extract the artist's essence through this painting. Even if the artist is dead, a transparent human form can be extracted from his works.

Then Chen Zhi can communicate briefly with this transparent humanoid.

Chen Zhi gave this synthesized new spell a name - Lian Jing Shu.

Theoretically speaking, this kind of spell has no probability of failure.

No matter how many years the person has been dead, he will still appear his original self.

You can answer 1 or 2 questions, of course, all of them are true answers.

But these are all theoretical speculations. Until now, Chen Zhi has not tested them...

The time period when Jiang Ziya later appeared in Chinese history is now confirmed to be the late Tang Dynasty and Song Dynasty.

His name in the Song Dynasty was Qiu Chuji, and in the Tang Dynasty, he survived as Yuan Tiangang, the heavenly master of Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty!

Qiu Chuji during the Song Dynasty was almost a mythical figure. Although there were many legends about him, he left nothing concrete in history.

But Yuan Tiangang during the Tang Dynasty was different. He left a book that was passed down to later generations.

This book is very famous. Emperors of every generation will read this book. Even now, historians still talk about it.

This is what is known as the first prophetic book in China - Tuibei Tu.

"Tui Bei Tu" is the most amazing book of prophecy in China. It is said that it was compiled by Emperor Taizong Li Shimin of the Tang Dynasty, who ordered Yuan Tiangang and his disciples to compile it in order to predict the fate of the Tang Dynasty.

This book combines various elements such as Yixue, astronomy, poetry, riddles, pictures, etc.

It made many predictions that would have great influence on future generations.

Each prophecy appears in the form of a small painting, not only predicting major events that occurred in the Tang Dynasty, but even events that will happen a thousand years later are written down in obscure words, which is very strange.

It is said that after the book was completed, Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty was deeply surprised and asked Yuan Tiangang carefully about the meaning of these small paintings.

And want to know who was the person who overthrew the Tang Dynasty in later generations?

Yuan Tiangang avoided answering, but his disciples were afraid of Li Shimin, so they explained one by one, and even revealed that the cause of the Tang Dynasty was a woman named Wu who would kill her father and son and usurp the throne.

Li Shimin was about to ask in detail who this woman was, but Yuan Tiangang pushed his disciple's back and said:

“Don’t reveal too many secrets~~”

So this book has since been called Tuibei Tu.

Tuibei Tu has been handed down since the Tang Dynasty. It has experienced dynasty changes, countless wars, and been printed into many versions.

The pictures and text in it have already deviated from the main line and have even been completely tampered with.

The reasons for tampering are different. Most of them are Taoist and magicians who feel good about themselves. They feel that they have understood the secret of heaven and added it without authorization.

Therefore, since the end of the Tang Dynasty, the original version of "Tui Bei Tu" has been completely missing on the market.

But fortunately, the Jiang family patriarchs of all generations seemed to be very interested in this book and collected many editions.

Several of them are unique copies that cannot be found on the market and are hard to find.

Chen Zhi found a hand-painted book from the mid-Tang Dynasty. It was originally from the house of Wu Sansi, the history of Xiuguo, and was given by Wu Zetian. It also has Wu Zetian's handwriting on it. It should be the original version.

Chen Zhi then made a space in Jiang's library and drew a circle in the middle.

Just like the ritual practice in the past, the set of Dharma pattern totems were drawn into it.

This was the first time he used foreign magic in Jiang's library. If he was not careful, he would be suspected of insulting his ancestors, so he was very cautious.

Chen Zhi carefully drew the totem on the ground, placed the original copy of the totem in the middle of the ground, and then scattered the grains around.

He had already prepared a skinned black cat, which was bloody and stuck in the center of the circle as before.

Then he began to recite the incantation silently. After a while, the air flowed backwards, the fire light floated, and the incantation began to appear.

Just like before, the ground began to roll, and a transparent human figure emerged from where the black cat was.

The human figure seemed to have no arms or legs. It crawled out slowly on the ground. It was completely transparent and had no specific form.

Then, Chen Zhi began to recite the second set of mantras.

This set of mantras is very similar to the Heart-Entering Mantra, except that there have been some modifications before and after. Up to now, it is the full version of the "Refining Mantra"

Not long after reciting the essence-raising mantra, the transparent shadow that crawled out began to change. Chen Zhi saw that some colors began to split into the transparent shadow.

The color of some fat and hair began to gradually form. After a while, this transparent person became much more real, and finally became like a real person!

What was a bit frightening was that after this man appeared, his back was turned to Chen Zhi, as if he didn't want to meet Chen Zhi.

And this back view was too familiar to Chen Zhi.

It was a man wearing a white robe, with gray hair that fell to the ground, his shoulders were drooped, and his back was facing him straight.

Like a white ghost...
