Chapter 273 The Tomb of Genghis Khan [Thanks: Ako Wan

After Bao Ping finished speaking, he pointed to the Mongolian characters on the printed document,

"The Mongolian writing at that time was still relatively confusing. Because many ethnic groups lived together on the grasslands, the culture of the Mongolian people was generally very low. Only nobles could use writing. This kind of writing was mixed with Semu script and Xiongnu script. Even today's Mongolian

No one recognizes it either.

But the elders of the Golden Family have always had the ability to decipher this kind of writing, so I asked them to translate it.

One paragraph of text roughly describes the following:

That year, I accompanied my father Khan to conquer Xixia. During the Western Expedition, all the countries we passed through had their cities and people slaughtered.

But then a plague broke out in the army, and many Mongolian warriors died. Father Khan was very angry and ordered the slaughter of two-legged sheep (Han people) to sacrifice to the angry Changshengtian~~~~

The carcasses of the two-footed sheep covered the grass, their blood and severed limbs everywhere, but the plague continued to spread, and even the noble princes of Mongolia died.

Some people advised the Great Khan to give up the Western Expedition and withdraw to the Mongolian royal court, but the Great Khan killed these people who advised him, insisted on the Western Expedition, and used a cauldron to boil hot water and cook two-legged sheep alive to comfort the spirits of the warriors~~~

At this time, an old Han nationality who traveled thousands of miles west came to see the Great Khan. His name was Qiu Chuji, with the courtesy name Tongmi and the Taoist name Changchunzi. He came from Qixia, Dengzhou (now part of Shandong Province).

We Mongolians know this man named Qiu Chuji. He was a Taoist priest in the Song Dynasty. Different from those ordinary two-legged sheep, he was a man with stars in his eyes~~~

Legend has it that he has superb Taoism and is proficient in the magic of heaven and the art of immortality. He has lived for hundreds of years and is a living god. We Mongolians respect him very much and set up his tent next to the king's tent. His father Khan hosted a banquet in honor of him.

He~~~

When he saw the Great Khan, the Great Khan asked him,

"The real person came all the way and brought me some elixir of immortality?"

Qiu Chuji replied:

"There is no so-called medicine for immortality in the world. Immortality is about cultivation~~~, but I can cure the plague of Mongolian soldiers!!!"

The Khan asked again:

"Can the real person come to the royal tent to have meals with me every day?"

Qiu Chuji added: "I am a Taoist and like to be quiet, but since the Great Khan invites me, then I will do what the Great Khan wants!!!"

However, the life of the Great Khan has expired. I advise the Great Khan to have a compassionate heart and not to massacre Han people in large numbers, otherwise death is close at hand~~~

Hearing this, the Great Khan became furious and ordered the Han Taoist priest to be buried alive, but Qiu Chuji did not panic.

I saw him inserting his cane into the ground and reciting the incantation. The wooden cane suddenly grew green leaves and fruits. Everyone saw it and knew that this was a man of God. All of them were on the ground.

He knelt down and worshiped. Seeing this, the man respected him greatly and asked for advice on how to prolong his life.

Qiu Chuji told the Great Khan that immortality was not a reward, but a punishment. If the Great Khan wanted to live forever, he could guide him, but the Great Khan should never regret it...

Then Qiu Chuji pulled Dahan into the tent, and the two of them talked secretly inside the tent, and no one outside could hear!!!

When the Great Khan walked out of the tent again, he issued an anti-killing order to all Mongolian soldiers, stipulating that all Mongolians could no longer kill Han people indiscriminately, and any offenders would be killed immediately!

Later, the Great Khan ordered my descendants and descendants to kneel in front of him, saying that he would be buried in the near future and asked all his descendants to prepare for a secret funeral.

After the others had dispersed, the Great Khan called me close and said that Kent Mountain was a place rich in water and grass, which he liked very much. After his death, he would be buried there. All the people the Great Khan loved in his life would be buried, including me.

His biological mother, the spoils of a lifetime of battles must be buried there, but they must not be discovered...

"The Kent Mountains in Outer Mongolia...",

After Chen Zhi listened to Bao Ping read this passage, he said:

"As expected, the golden family of Mongolia has always known the location where their ancestor Genghis Khan was buried, but they have kept this secret and only allowed generations of descendants and Mongolians to worship the tomb.

But it mentions Genghis Khan’s treasure, which makes people a little confused!!!

With the strength of Mongolia at that time, the amount of war trophies must have been astonishing, and Mongolia has experienced many low periods since then. Even now, Mongolia is not rich and is struggling in the global economic crisis. How could it guard such a huge treasure without developing it?

Woolen cloth?

Is this passage sure to be credible? Could this piece of saddlebag cloth be forged by a later generation, or is it Torre's wishful thinking?

"Not all members of the Golden Family can know this secret..." Bao Ping replied:

"As far as I know, the hierarchy of the Golden Family is very clear. Only the elder of the Golden Family can see this piece of saddle bag cloth. Members of other branches don't know about it at all~~~

It can be seen that the credibility of this matter is still relatively high!”

"If you say so, I really remembered... Genghis Khan's tomb is really possible in Kent Mountain..." At this time, Pang Wei, who had been listening for a long time, seemed to remember something.

"I remembered something that I heard from an old colleague a long time ago. At that time, I thought he was bragging.

Before the founding of the People's Republic of China, the gangs in the south were very wild and dared to cross the border to go to Myanmar and Vietnam. At that time, there were rumors that the tomb of some Mongolian general had been dug near the border of Outer Mongolia.

The general had been Genghis Khan's imperial guard during his lifetime, and was later released to guard the mountain.

Those who fell into the trap found a large pile of Mongolian iron scrolls in his grave, and there seemed to be something mentioned in them.

It is said that one day during his lifetime, the Great Khan once sat quietly under a tree in Kent Mountain and meditated. Later, he suddenly stood up and said to the guards around him: "When I die, bury me here! Then you must follow me,

Go to the underworld to protect me~~~"

"Is that Kent Mountain..." Chen Zhi asked.

"Yes! It's right there. It seems to be at the foot of Kent Mountain. It's called the General's Tomb...",

Fat Wei nodded and said:

"And the iron scroll also said that because the general was released from the outside world, there was no secret burial, so there was a tomb...

That group of people found the official seal granted to him by the Mongolian Khan in the general's tomb, as well as gold plates, golden bowls, the general's robes, etc. They were all sold at high prices, and they still have the photos~~

~~"

"The information you just mentioned is very useful...".

Bao Ping nodded to Fat Wei,

"It can be seen that the records of the Golden Family are true. Genghis Khan, the genius of the generation, was buried in the Kent Mountains in Mongolia..."
