Chapter 24: Finding the Dragon

Two people, an old man and a young man, and an old black dog, walked around cautiously to the entrance of the culvert tunnel.

Less than five meters from the entrance is the gloomy ancient tomb where twelve people died found during the day.

Liu Shiba softly ordered Lao Hei to guard outside the culvert. He and Cao Xiong each took a small flashlight and gently touched inside.

"Wow..."

There was about half a foot of water in the corridor of the culvert, and four legs moved slowly forward inside, causing a slight gurgling sound.

After walking a few steps, Liu Shiba suddenly turned back and looked towards the dark entrance of the culvert. He always felt that there was always a pair of eyes in the darkness looking at him silently, feeling uneasy...

Cao Xing looked at Liu Shiba and said doubtfully:

"What's wrong?"

"It's okay, I always feel a little uneasy, as if there is someone behind me."

Liu Shiba explained.

When Cao Xiong heard this, he looked back in fear, slapped Liu Shiba fiercely, and said angrily:

"Don't scare me. The old man has a heart disease. Don't you see that Lao Hei is just waiting there obediently? What are you afraid of? Hurry in."

The two of them moved forward a few meters softly. Under the weak flashlight light, a jaw-dropping scene came into view before their eyes.

There was no water in the main chamber of the ancient tomb, but there was rubble all over the floor. The wall tiles and floor tiles used to build the ancient tomb were all dug out, and the nine human bones were also missing.

The entire corridor and tomb chamber were dug up terribly by those beasts. Is this archeology? Is this what the Cultural Relics Administration does?

Is this a cultural relic to protect our ancestors?

Is this such a protection law?

Bah...

Liu Shiba cursed in his heart!

But it's just a curse, because he can't change anything...

Under the illumination of a small flashlight, the two discovered the original location of the stone coffin on the ground in the middle of the main tomb chamber.

Cao Xiong stared around, looking around, knocking here and there, and feeling here and there, but he never found anything out of the ordinary.

Is it really an empty tomb? Is there nothing else but nine weird corpses?

Impossible. Since the nine human bowls are here, the owner of the tomb must also be there. It is impossible that there are no bones?

Otherwise, wouldn’t the cruel human bowl, which strengthens the root and restores Yang, lose its original function?

"Hello? Shiba, what are you doing standing there? Looking for me?"

Cao Xiong glared at Liu Shiba, who was standing in the middle.

"Looking? Did you find anything?"

Liu Shiba shook his head and looked around.

"What the hell did I find? I'm a fortune teller, okay? You're the one who got the golden fortune, and you want me to find it?"

I don’t believe that your grandpa didn’t teach you anything. What about sharing gold and fixing acupoints? What about searching for dragons and tapping acupoints?”

Cao Xiong rolled his eyes, his appearance looked a bit sinister under the flashlight.

Hearing this, Liu Shiba glanced at Cao Xiong lightly, his face unchanged, but he secretly said in his heart:

"Grandpa will tell you the history of the old Liu family? I can't see, right? What secrets does Cao Xiong have?"

"I mean, kid? Are you standing there holding your body up?"

Cao Xiong rummaged all over the floor and cursed breathlessly.

Liu Shiba glared at Cao Xiong with disdain and said strangely:

"Who do you think the Cultural Relics Administration is all about?"

"Who are they? They are just a bunch of trash. To put it lightly, they just took a shovel and thought they were archaeologists. To put it lightly, they are just legal tomb robbers.

How could a real gold digger make the ancient tomb look like this?"

Cao Xiong licked the corner of his mouth, his strange appearance became even more gloomy.

"Huh, trash? They are not fools, right? I believe that every conceivable place in this tomb must have been ransacked.

Even some unexpected places were clearly detected by the metal detector, so it is impossible to miss anything."

Liu Shiba analyzed calmly.

Hearing this, Cao Xiong couldn't help but look at Liu Shiba, nodded and said:

"That's right! The old man is impatient, so what do you think we should do? We both have to eat instant noodles..."

Liu Shiba's eyes flashed and he sneered:

"But there should still be things in the world that metal detectors and Luoyang shovels cannot detect."

"How can I see it?"

Cao Xiong said doubtfully.

"What did you think we were here for tonight?"

Liu Shiba raised his eyebrows.

"What are you looking for? Are we looking for the bones?"

Cao Xiong replied without knowing why.

Then, Cao Xiong patted his gray head, and a sudden joy appeared on his face:

"Bones? Bones are things that metal detectors can't detect? And jade?"

"That's right, even if Luoyang shovels, it's not possible to find the real owner unless you try your luck."

Liu Shiba smiled confidently.

Cao Xiong looked at Liu Shiba with a look of surprise on his face, a gleam flashed in his eyes.

"Then tell me, how to break it?"

"I remember my grandpa told me when I was a child that in Feng Shui, there is a saying of hidden dragon's lair."

"Hidden Dragon's Cave?"

Cao Xiong was shocked when he heard this. He looked around with his eyes wide open and saw gravel and mud all over the ground.

"There are only a dozen square meters here, where can we hide it? It can't be deeper underground, right?

I don’t believe that those wastes from the Cultural Relics Administration won’t be dug down another meter or two?”

Cao Xiong looked at Liu Shiba's feet strangely.

Liu Shiba smiled strangely and slowly analyzed:

"Maybe they are anxious to take some time to get some valuable things in the coffin back and seal them for maintenance, so as not to lose their value due to weathering.

Therefore, after hastily detecting it with a small metal detector, it is possible that there is another mystery deep in the coffin, and in addition, someone died just this morning..."

Cao Xiong's eyes flashed, and he nodded secretly:

"That's right, because someone died, the people who went in later wore chemical protective suits, but they refused to stay in there any longer!

Just do a quick exploration and dig out the valuables and some intact wall and floor tiles, and that's it."

After saying this, Cao Xiong smiled and said:

"This is the difference between archeology and gold-touching. The archeologists only see superficial things, while gold-touching officers think further and observe more carefully."

"What do you mean? The ancient corpse is in the soil beneath your feet? How deep? If it's too deep, the old man can't dig it out.

Look, it’s almost four o’clock now, and it’ll be dawn in a little while, so we have to hurry up.”

Cao Xiong took out a broken cell phone and checked the time.

Liu Shiba rolled his eyes and said:

"You can't dig, how can I dig? Nonsense, just wait here, I'll go up and get two shovels!"

Cao Xiong quickly reached out to stop Liu Shiba, took off a black cloth bag from his back, and said with a smile:

"Don't go, the old man has already prepared it. Look, two engineering shovels made of fine steel, genuine goods.

You use your brain to find the dragon's acupoints, and the old man is responsible for finding the guy to make preparations. You see, hehe..."

Liu Shiba was stunned when he saw this, turned his head sharply and said grimly:

"Old guy, you planned it when you called me, didn't you?"

Seeing Liu Shiba's face turning green under the flashlight, Cao Xiong almost jumped out of fright.

Next, Liu Shiba waved to Lao Hei, smelled everywhere under his feet, and with Cao Xiong's Big Dipper hexagram, he immediately determined the location.

It turns out that the strange place is not directly under the coffin, but in the middle of the corridor, which is directly under the previous nine human bones...

Who would have thought that the most important place in an ancient tomb is deep in the corridor?

"Whoop whoosh!"

"Whoops...whoops!"

"Bang...?"

"Huh? Is there something?"

The old man and the young man dug hard and panted for half an hour, and finally came across something at a depth of more than one meter.

With the help of a weak flashlight, I saw that it turned out to be a black wooden box only over one meter long and fifty centimeters thick?
