CHAPTER 10 What's Taken and What's Left

There were footsteps outside the door, and the two guards sitting on the bed stood up and walked towards the door with their legs jumping.

Their ankles were tied, so they couldn't run and it was difficult to walk. As time went by, everyone found it easier to jump.

I don't know what kind of medicine was applied to my hands. Although I was not tied, I couldn't use my strength to untie the rope. I could only eat, drink and defecate.

After trying every method for so long, everyone has given up.

Being locked up in this small courtyard, I was not treated badly for food and drink, nor was I cold. I was even given new clothes and bedding. I was even given freshly made rice cakes and tofu a few days ago.

At first they shouted to see Miss Jun, but these seemingly simple and honest villagers did not speak. They just gave them something unknown when they were shouting and making noise, and their mouths were numb for three days.

Later I accepted my fate.

"She might kill us," Jin Shiba said.

However, Miss Jun obviously had no idea and seemed to have forgotten about them without killing them or paying attention to them.

It is now the time for the meal to be delivered, and it will be left at the door.

The two Jinyi guards jumped towards the door as usual, but the footsteps outside did not stop and the door was pushed open.

The sun shone in, and at the same time a female voice sounded.

"I had forgotten about them, if Uncle Lei hadn't reminded me," Liu'er said. She was startled when she saw the two people jumping over, "Hey, what are you playing at?"

What are you playing for? The two Jin Yiwei always looked dull and angry.

What are we playing for? We are being played by you.

Jin Shiba also sat up from the bed. Of course, he did not jump over, but looked at the little girl standing at the door with a cold expression.

The little girl was not aware of their anger at all. She walked in with her hands behind her back and looked left and right.

"Oh, you have good food, drink, and accommodation. You are living so comfortably." She said, "We are almost exhausted."

Irony? Ridicule?

Jin Shiba looked at the little girl coldly and did not find any of these meanings on her face.

I have to say, the acting was really good.

"Okay, pack up and leave." Liu'er waved her hand and said, "I'm waiting for you, hurry up."

Walk?

What's the meaning?

Jin Shiba looked suspicious when he saw the villagers guarding him coming in, holding a knife in their hands.

What do you mean by walking?

After thinking about it, several people cut the ropes around their feet.

……………………………….

The village was very lively, and the villagers gathered under the big tree at the entrance of the village, watching the people and horses getting ready to go.

The horses were newly sent, and they were equipped with two horses for one person. Miss Jun did not use the horses in the village, although there were some guards and escorts such as Lei Zhonglian among them.

Lei Zhonglian and others also put on new luggage, while Xia Yong, Yang Jing and others were helping to check the equipment on the horse.

"Why aren't we allowed to go this time?" Some villagers couldn't help asking.

Lei Zhonglian coughed.

"What's the reason for this? It means we are better than you." He said.

These days we eat, live, train, and fight bandits together. Now we are very familiar with each other and can joke with each other.

After hearing what Lei Zhonglian said, the villagers all laughed.

Talking and laughing, Liu'er came with Jin Shiba and others. The villagers here still remember them. Miss Jun asked these people to be tied up when they first entered the village. They have been locked up until now. It is obvious that they are not Miss Jun.

people.

Why is it released now?

The villagers' smiles disappeared and their expressions were thoughtful.

"Uncle Lei, they are coming." Liu'er shouted.

Lei Zhonglian looked at Jin Shiba, who also looked at him coldly.

"Give them their luggage and pick up their horses," Lei Zhonglian said.

Then two guards handed several sets of clothes to Jin Shiba and others. Jin Shiba did not say anything and took them coldly.

"Are they going to go too? They are not very powerful, are they?" A villager couldn't help but ask again.

They would understand if they only brought Lei Zhonglian and other guards, but with Jin Shiba, things would definitely not be simple.

The villagers gradually understood what was going on.

Because they are trouble, Miss Jun will definitely take them away.

If they don't come back, leaving these people here will bring danger to the village.

But Miss Jun will not take her away because she is not a trouble, but someone she wants to protect.

Taking the trouble away and leaving the cherished one behind, this is clearly a preparation for leaving without ever returning it.

"...I'm not going, I'm waiting here for the lady."

Liu'er's voice came from behind, clear and cheerful.

"...Miss will be back soon."

This time no one responded to Liu'er's words, everyone looked at her with a complicated expression.

They had experienced this scene a long time ago.

The man also said the same, I will be back soon, you are waiting here, but the man has not come back until now.

The chatter and laughter at the entrance of the village gradually stopped. Liu'er didn't realize it yet, but continued to chat and laugh happily, and the atmosphere became a little weird.

There were footsteps behind them, and everyone turned around to see Miss Jun and the woman approaching.

They also put on their gear, and a new carriage followed them.

Xia Yong walked over with a complicated expression.

"Miss Jun, everything is ready," he said.

Miss Jun smiled and nodded.

"Thank you, Uncle Xia." She said, hugging Liu'er as she jumped over, "Please take more care of this girl."

It was obviously a man's house, and it was clear that there was nothing wrong with it, but Xia Yong couldn't help but feel a sore nose.

"How can I use them to take care of them?" Liu'er protested with dissatisfaction, "Miss, don't worry, I will take good care of them while you are away and let them eat and drink well."

Miss Jun smiled and patted her head.

Just as he was about to say something, shopkeeper Deshengchang came rushing from outside.

"Miss Jun, Miss Jun is not well." He blurted out regardless of the presence of so many people.

Miss Jun raised her hand to stop him.

"Things have already been bad, so there is nothing worse," she said.

Shopkeeper Deshengchang responded by swallowing what he was about to say and handing over a letter.

Miss Jun opened it and glanced at it, with a dull expression that showed no sadness or joy.

"Things are not good." She turned to Mrs. Yu and said, handing the letter to her.

Mrs. Yu took it and glanced at it, but she also had no expression.

"Well, it happened faster and worse than I expected," she said.

Miss Jun smiled.

"Then let's go faster." She said with a firm expression.

Mrs. Yu also smiled.

"Okay." She said, extending her hand.

Liu'er, who was standing nearby, subconsciously reached out to help her get into the carriage.

"Hey, you can't get in by yourself, I'm not your girl." She reacted again and muttered, but she still didn't let go and helped Mrs. Yu onto the carriage.

Lei Zhonglian also hurriedly called for everyone to mount their horses. Jin Shiba didn't say anything, and led the Jin Yiwei to mount their horses with a cold face.

Miss Jun salutes Xia Yong.

"Chief Xia, I'm leaving," she said.

Xia Yong looked at her and hesitated to speak. Miss Jun looked at the villagers who had gathered, raised her head and glanced at them one by one, as if to remember their appearance, and then without saying another word, she saluted and got on her horse.

Shopkeeper Deshengchang also wanted to mount his horse, but Xia Yong suddenly stopped him.

"Miss Jun, I have something to ask the shopkeeper," he said.

Miss Jun had no doubts and signaled the shopkeeper to stay.

The shopkeeper and the villagers watched Miss Jun and his party go out. People at the entrance of the village were reluctant to disperse, and some children could not help but chase after them.

Xia Yong did not follow or watch him off, he directly pulled the shopkeeper aside.

"What happened again?" he asked. (To be continued)
